I really like the external relay box. I have an older 30003 unit. From the very beginning I disabled pwm and used an external relay for my fuel pump. Are there changes planned on the software side of things? If so, it would be cool to have a change log as new versions come out to see whats new. It would be nice to have temperature based control of the prime shot. Also it would be great if the software had a better strategy for hot restarts, my experience is the software will hold rpms up above the idle speed target as if the engine where cold for a moment. It would be nice if it could just “resume” to the idle target like a carburetor. Messing with cranking iac and loop rate can shorten the amount of time the flare last but won’t eliminate the behavior. And lastly, it would be interesting to have the ability to adjust the minimum engine rpm for enabling a dfco event. I’ve observed that dfco will not function if my rpms don’t reach about 2300 rpms even if the map is good. Is the dfco feature only intended for highway speeds?
Thank you for your feedback. The software engineers are always fighting the balance of keeping settings simple and providing enough important adjustable features to enhance user experience.
You can use our dealer locator tool on our website to find the closest near your zip code. We are starting to add more installers and tuners through our new training program as well.
FiTech does not sell old stock directly. However, if you purchase from a reseller, watch our video to learn how to identify an older system. Key differences include the updated logo, which features a thicker font, and the inclusion of a remote mount relay box with our newer systems.
I think your products are great. I'm very happy with the system I purchased. 3500 miles of cruising and no issues.
That is awesome! We love a good cruiser!

Any recommendations for shops in Seattle to upgrade my setup?

What does it take to upgrade from a 400hp unit to a 600hp unit?
Changing the regulator to a 4 bar regulator will net you about 520ish HP.
You need to find lighter throttle springs, especially dual quad the gas pedal is really hard to push and the cable wears out really fast
Be sure to grab the throttle linkage at the top in the 1/2 hole to maximize leverage.
@@FiTechEFImedia Cable is there, primaries are ok, but secondary springs are too stiff
OK, how do we know that we re NOT ordering old stock?!
