I heard the Allergo of this concerto at Kuhmo chamber music festival this year (2018) Vilhelm Karsson double bass and Madilta Kärkkäinen piano . I really liked it.
??? It’s not too slow. True people play it faster now days, but that was the tempo that Karl Ditters von Dittersdorf intended. Or somewhere around there anyway. Unless you think you can play it better than her, I wouldn’t talk.
First I thougt the tempo is a little bit slow. But after after bass part started, all the dynamics and frases were super!
I’m learning this now! Wish me luck bc I can’t play it like this lmao

Yes a little slow perhaps and piano a little too loud for ideal balance. Could be microphone location??

Brava!
Great performance - but the piano is too loud in the mix. It obscures some of the more subtle bass tones.
Brava 👏🏽👏🏽🇧🇷
