It’s about time! I hope it stands up like one too! 💪oh wait 30 or 40 bucks cheaper? Not enough difference but the exception of better steel is cool. China can make that bugout for 6 bucks. And it’s dam near as good too lol.

Fact, and USA made doesn't mean shit if that company doesn't stand for anything.. plenty of us based companies now owned by China. Love your country.. question anyone trying to use it to overcharge you for trash.

The water is a bit muddier knowing how long the Bugout has been. But, it’s not like Kershaw/ZT haven’t had knives out that have been awesome EDCs (Skyline, looking at you buddy). On the other other hand, if anyone is looking at the Bugout, yeah, I don’t see why the Kershaw Bel Air wouldn’t be an direct one-for-one replacement unless you reaaaaaalllly like the butterfly logo (or something about Kershaw or their warranty you’re not into).

Nice knife but I'm not a fan of thumb studs. I like thumb holes. Do like axis/crossbar lock 👍🏻

Got a sweet knife with a great hole cutout on the way so stay tuned!! 🔔🔔

Have you checked out the Gerber Assert? It has a position-adjustable and removable thumb stud in a thumb hole. I used to hate studs as well, to the point of removing them from several cheaper knives. But the non-LTE S35VN Terminus XR changed my mind.

Let's hope v2 has better tolerance and heat treat..
4 washers and two bearings? Plus you mar the washers with "over tightening" seen a video testing the steel on something besides paper and she didn't hold up like you'd expect from magnacut..
Looks good, but to me they were lazy about the finish product.. not something id be proud to put out..

Putting bearings inside the blade and washers on top is a very bad idea... Unfixable blade play is imminent with time. Why not just use washers, without making the blade thiner for bearings at its stress point ??? Benchmade did it right with the bugout.
