He always hits the nail on the head. Too bad the Dem establishment has now become as dependent upon big donor money as the Repub establishment. What is obviously needed is a government OF the people, BY the people, FOR the people. It's high time we had a true democracy.
You're exactly right
The democrats should not be afraid of defending the American people interests. And I don’t think people’s interest is in any war abroad, but with internal issues such as the high inflation, fewer job creation, the shrinking middle class struggling to make ends meet with high college and health care debts. It is time for America to know a more affordable higher education and public health care
In this Trump wins the narrative and blame the immigrants in all the problems that Americans are facing
It's always been that way in the last 50+ years big corporations come in and throw down millions for their own interest. Grassroots voting would be fantastic but that won't happen.
Our country simply can’t afford to have that crazy authoritarian changing our government. Put Bernie in as VP and Go Joe!
Forget Trump, forget Biden. We wanted YOU all along Bernie! Our party screwed you and us in the process! God would you have been an awesome president. Slightly older than both guys and STILL sharper. We missed out. Such a travesty

He believes it is okay for the U.S. govt to owe trillions of dollars and for Americans to pay for the 10
million illegals Biden allowed into the country, which can be added to the 10 - 20 million illegals prior to Biden.
I agree. People are tired of politicians giving promises and never delivering. Change was Obama's campaign slogan. Americans want change - a system that works for them!
I was so hopefully and so disappointed. The bankers didn't go to jail and this is the 2008 aftermath...
And then Obama failed to give any actual lasting change. That failure gave us Trump.
Now, Biden's failures might give us Trump again.
When that happens, the Democratic establishment will refuse to accept any blame (again). Rather, they will blame the leftists for whatever fantasy they can dream up.
Very true. I campaigned for him in 08 as a first time voter and he did let me down.
By bs'ing the public as a "change" candidate, Obama set the stage for Trump. I've since learned to watch out for young aspirational candidates (that incudes JFK, Bill Clinton and Obama). They can be great with rhetoric and be inspirational, but when it comes to the nuts and bolts of policymaking you need an experienced politician who can negotiate, and threaten when necessary, i.e. FDR, Eisenhower, LBJ and Nixon. Decades later, we are still feeling the effects of their policies. I love JFK, but truthfully, except for the Peace Corps. none of his policies have survived until today. And Clinton's legacy is caving to the Republicans and gutting Glass-Steagall, unneeded welfare reform and giving us NAFTA and other horrible trade deals.

I think about that sometimes too, also would the GOP not have imploded the same way if trump hadn’t become president?
Bernie clearly had the votes as leader until Biden cheated and all the other candidates dropped out the same week when Biden was in 7th last place. Strange how NBC just let that happen without any reporting. Bernie won the primary
But since he doesn't think he lost, and plenty of his cult think he's actually the president now, can't we count this as his second term, and thus render him ineligible?

That is NO LONGER THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.
The Republican party is problematic also. Vote Jill Stein, independent.
In her new book, philosopher and economist Ingrid Robeyns argues that there should be a limit on how much wealth any one person is permitted to have and that capping personal wealth under $10 million would benefit everyone, including the super-rich.
A collective effort like that on an international level would be remarkably transformative.
@@zoyadulzura7490 and impossible. You would need media to get behind it, and it isn't millionaires that run media - it's billionaires. Then, you have many politicians who are incredibly wealthy, globally, they also would never agree to this
@@scerpalman That makes the goal very difficult, but not impossible. People power.
So now you want government to tell you how much you can make. That is wrong. So if they can do that they will tell you what kind og house you can have how many houses u can have. How big or small your house can be. How many cars you can have and then they can lower the amount you can make. If i had a business and i made 10 million but i wanted to open up more stores i would not cause i make to much money so now i would not open stores and not hire more people so now less jobs and less jobs for the builders that would build my stores so alot of people lose in that case. I might even close stores so i would have less of a headache so now even more jobs lost. The role of government is not to limit how much you can make. Btw you would hurt the economy more than help it if u did this. Also it would only change things for the wors not for the better

My man, bernie. Love you.
The problem is is you can say things all day long but when you never follow through as a party people lose trust in you and start looking at more fringe options and that's where we've found ourselves
That's exactly what Bernis is saying here...
In their defense, they did try to pass legislation to help us with our concerns and republicans blocked it. So it does look like they don’t do much. But, I am furious they didn’t prepare AT ALL for this election cycle. If we get stuck with Trump again, and possibly the destruction of the US constitution, it lies at the Democrats feet. Patriotic Republicans saved us during the insurrection. Project 2025 is making sure that doesn’t happen again. We are looking at the last US presidential election and Trump has told us that much.
As long as the USA sticks to the political system they know (basically a 2 party system) people are constantly robbed of choice, and the status quo continues.
And because it is 2 parties, any progress is slowed to a grinding halt if either side wants to change something for the betterment of the lower and middle class income families of the USA.
Both parties have too much affiliation with the billionaires who basically "buy" them to do their bidding, the tax cuts/breaks they get, are paid for by the lower and middle class income groups.
If the USA wants to see actual change, you have to start there, with the party system as it is, dismantle it and rebuild with more political choices for the average American, force these smaller parties to form coalitions that demand them to work together, not against each other, that way the voice of the people carries more weight again.
It used to be "representation for the people, by the people" but that has eroded away by those with fortunes that rival small countries.
As the system is now, complete with large donors and super pacts, is literally legalized corruption, "We pay you, you stop that legislation that prevents us from doing as we please", sorry.. but that IS corruption, any way you spin it, and this is one of the few actual issues you can pull the "both sides" card on.
That's the plan.
Two parties - that's one more than North Korea, so twice as democratic.

Bernie hasn't done anything but support Biden's pro war, anti labor policies for the last four years.
They've had 3.5 years to do that. Food, gas, and rent have gone up, my wages haven't, and home ownership is at its lowest in 60 years. How much further into the abyss do we need to go before we stop this experiment of killing the middle class? Honestly, can you name one bill that has passed in 3.5 years that has helped you and your family?
@@aaronfaulkner2732 the previous 4 years set up the current environment. How many policies of 45's actually helped you?
@josephsimmons9241 First and foremost, kicking illegals out and closing the border. I work construction. Illegals will work for far less money, and they keep wages down across the board. They are everywhere on a construction site. That's how most people don't see them or understand how many are in your city. If you're not surrounded by them every day at work, then you don't think about it. I haven't seen an American pour concrete or hang drywall in 15 years. That's a lot of Americans out of a job. All American construction workers' incomes stay low when they're here. Providing for my family in the best way possible is a major topic for voting this year. Gas prices in America are lowest in the developed world, and have gone down significantly from their recent peak, although there's always seasonal variation. We need a tax bracket that reflects reality and equity equally.
And this administration is going to lose the Whitehouse because people can't afford to survive.. wages don't go up with the cost of living.. people are sick and tired of waiting.
People are starting to understand that Democrats have used non stop open immigration since 1967, high taxes, and over regulation to put slack into the labor market year after year. Which gives all the power to employers, driving down wages, and immigration drives up housing prices at the same time. To the point tens of millions of Americans don't have any money left over at the end of the month. And it's the low wages and lack of power at the bottom that allows the excesses at the top. Causing the wealth gap.
Compare that to JFK style conservative policies of using low taxes, smaller government, deregulation, and less immigration to tighten up the labor market. Which gives power back to workers. Raises wages. Allows for advancement. Allows for mobility. Allows people with bad job records or few skills to get jobs. And gives people dignity.
If Democrats actually cared about lower income people, and were capable of compassion and empathy, they would be Kennedy/Reagan conservatives.

From Bernie....".If poverty is increasing and if wages are going down, I don’t know why we need millions of people to be coming into this country as guest workers who will work for lower wages than American workers and drive wages down even lower than they are right now,” Sanders said. ” … On one hand, you have large multinationals trying to shut down plants in America, move to China, and on the other hand, you have the service industry bringing in low-wage workers from abroad. The result is the same: Middle class gets shrunken, and wages go down.”
“Corporate America is kind of using immigration reform as a means to continue their effort to lower wages in the United States of America,” Sanders said in 2013.
Sanders told Vox in 2015...… "I think from a moral responsibility, we’ve got to work with the rest of the industrialized world to address the problems of international poverty, but you don’t do that by making people in this country even poorer.”

Stockholm Syndrome might be one reason!
No, conservatives just understand how the economy works way better than liberals do.
Laissez-faire government and Laissez-faire economics are counterintuitive ideas. Laffer Curve, peace through strength, and building a strong state on strong individuals given individual liberty and expecting individual responsibility, are counterintuitive ideas. Conservative ideas are counterintuitive.
Liberalism is not an ideology. Liberalism is an inability to use reason and logic to understand how the counterintuitive nature of the universe works, so a person falls back on their emotions to reach a conclusion.
That is why there are no successful liberal political talk radio shows. Liberals need moving pictures or hand puppets to trigger their emotions.
There was a huge global study where they asked thousands of people hundreds of questions and grouped them by their answers. People that ranked high in conscientiousness also favored conservative policies. People that ranked low in conscientiousness also favored liberal policies.
Meaning liberals have no intention of doing what is right or making sacrifices for the good of society.
Liberals are twice as likely as conservatives to report having mental problems in some groups and report higher mental problems across the board. This mental instability and inability to still their mind long enough to understand how conservative policies help poor and working class people is the cause of their problem.
If you look up the traits of narcissists, you will see they are exactly the same as liberal politicians and activists, because they are both driven in total by their hatred and emotions.

If you vote left for president and right for House and Senate, you will GUARANTEE nothing will change. It only adds to the grid-lock.
I am from the UK. In the last general election I voted Labour (who are like the Dems), but my main bit of activism was to ensure that Jeremy Corbyn (who’s good friends with Sanders) won his seat. Without anti-establishment leftists in power, Labour/Dems will continue taking lower income voters for granted, and subsequently Tories/Reform/Republicans make gains from all that.
They are not talking affording college or healthcare. We are having more problems then what he said.
Even Bernie Sanders knows that Trump is not part of the establishment. A subtle but important note is basically a jab at Hillary Clinton, Joe Biden, Kamala Harris on the Democratic Party side while the Republican Party has Ron DeSantis, Jeb Bush and Nikki Haley.
KING! 💖✨
It's so refreshing to hear someone with actual power get this right. Why does the Democratic party keep marginalizing him? We need another FDR.
Overall, the Democratic party is failing us. They keep leaning on this "vote for me or you'll get someone worse" argument. That's their role right now, the lesser of two evils party. Way to inspire.
I miss you Bernie!!! 😢 💙💙💙
