Bless you sir. I have been playing guitar for 15 years but this year got the itch to play piano. Took about 4 months of lessons then just started finding things I wanted to learn. I think in numbers and mostly play by ear. This video was PERFECT! It inspired me. Thank you so much. Now every time I sit down this is what I noodle on. I change the key. Try to move octaves. Learning about chord inversion. This son was easy to learn but will take a lifetime to master. Thank you!!!
I played this in our outdoor service couple of weeks ago to set the atmosphere a bit and it was a hit. I didn't play it exactly how you play it in the video but it was close. I going back and revamp it to be closer to how you play it to get a wider effect. I am a new piano player that is still learning so it was a welcome addition to my skill set
Thank you so much. You're patient and you're easy to follow. I took a week off and came right back and remembered this part because you're an excellent teacher.
You are an amazing teacher!!! Love the way you explained that using the number system. I was skeptical and you really tied everything together and it made sense. Thanks again
Really enjoyed this video brother!!! I’m a new player and I’m currently trying to learn to play so I can be my churches musician! Thanks so much for this content! Looking forward to seeing more from you!!
Mr Immanuel you are a great, great, teach but how do you play the melodies like. Can you do a video on this same lesson breaking the method of playing the melodies in the right hand.
Brotha man say "press that f-sharp, then jump to the d-flat...but don't forget hit that root cord F in the base ..1 5 1 4 4 1 5". . . . .Lord ha' mercy
Sorry for the long delay. I haven't done videos but I think about doing it again. I had to stop for a good while due to life changes and to be honest, many people were asking a lot in return but didn't really want to support. I will return to teaching what I can and incorporate other music styles as well.
hi guys, the best results that I have had was by using the Turbo Piano Secret (just google it) without a doubt the most incredible method that I have ever followed.
This is what I've been looking for!! I play my bass in octaves & chords, while doing 99% of runs & embellishments in the treble. So boring!! Thanks so much for this. Does this chord number system technique have a specific name? I want to find all I can about it. You are so talented. Thank you so much!!!!!
Please i only understand my DO RE MI FA SO LA TI DO and i can also play little worship and some time i fall and feel frustrated please what must i do to be better in piano please
Hey... DO=C,RE=D,ME=E,FA=F,SOL=G,LA=A,SI=B,DO=C.... if U asked my opinion I'd tell you to learn the alphabetical scale because it will be much easier learning with it rather than the Latin one, surely if you are practicing online.
it really won't talked much time to learn the alphabet form.. it is just abcdefg..that's it it repeat. when you make C it's just ceg.. The Solfeggietto way is superior when singing because everything is one syllable.
Hello my brother you are a great teacher. I'm at a intermediate level keyboardist. do you have a email address I can have to discuss web lessons with you....
+Jimmy Jamm Hello, thanks for watching. I'm really glad that the lessons help, it really means a lot to me. Sure, you can reach me here mrjoshuaminor@gmail.com
Is there any videos for someone just staring? I love piano but I never came across tutorials with very clear explanation. I will really appreciate if you could help please. May God bless you.
Thank you for responding to my question, shine on me, come and go to that land, god will open up the windows of heaven and pour you out a blessing, amazing grace. Thank you so much for your time and help.
Thank you. But it was very hard to try and see which Keys your fingers were pressing because your piano is kind of at an angle so could you name the keys when you press them down that way I won't have to pause each time you switch chords. It's really not you it's my eyesight. By the time I focus you've already moved on. Thanks in advance for next time. Great job though.
