Welcome from Botswana yes a lot of Batswana speak English and electricity reliable, and its definitely way safer than South Africa....🇧🇼🇧🇼only problem we have is very high youth unemployment so we do encourage investors to come invest and start business as well and support Botswana businesses as well

Went to foreign relation website, visa section and there's no retirement visa, they got other categories, but none that said, retirement, and i know your videos focused on retirement, and as a single person i think you can find a 2 bedroom apartment for less than $300 a month, instead of a 3 bedroom house, becuase as a single person, you don't need all fo that space, regards from Boston MA!!
Hello brother, nice video, I wish you well with setting up yourself in Botswana. Can you tell me, how did you ship your computer, was it via air or via sea freight?
Hey brother, I travel with a gaming laptop, so I just carry it in a backpack. I don't recommend shipping a computer. I had a 27 inch all in one Mac computer that was damaged from shipping through the airline, and it was in a custom padded case.
Check property agents like, Seef Botswana, Palm Goldings Botswana, M.G Properties, Kwena Properties, and so on. Make sure to verify their credentials. They must have Real Estate Institute of Botswana (R.E.I.B) and Real Estate Advisory Council (R.E.A.C) accreditation. the prices they show you are negotiable. Note that there's a property tax of 30% for foreigners. You can buy land that's "freehold" and "leasehold." Once again, don't trust any individual that's not accredited to the above governing institutions I just mentioned.
Your view of Botswana is very true, I love the country and the people of Botswana.
well said sir, this is a great country i made it my home 33 years ago and never regretted....God bless Batswana and Botswana!

Yes, they need an entrepreneurship revolution, one of the biggest misconceptions is universities create employees and entrepreneurs create jobs
Makes Perfect sense for investors to come open businesses and provide employment for the local

@@scottl240 yes there is a retirement permit
@jasonchaney777 I can't find it anywhere on Botswana's government site. Can you attach a link? Retired Air Force here looking to relocate to Gabs.

@@offtoanotherworld7434 No loadshedding in Botswana. If electricity goes off it's for maintenance work and you will be notified.
Are you ok TikTok? I know a realtor there
30% property tax? Wow, that must be the highest in the world..
Thinking of retiring they, but 30% tax is way way too much.
Thanks for the video

you would love those 6 months as a refreshing getaway
Even the police don't carry guns down here..not even a button. Why? Because there's no need to🤣🤣🤣
I would love that too ,maybe look at buying property in Botswana so you can live for 6 months every year rent free.
