I just bought this bed and I’m still very confused about what kind of bedframe I can use. Can I put this directly on a platform bed without the legs? Or could I put this on a standard bedframe with a boxspring without the legs? Thank you!

Hi Lauren - sorry for the delayed response. You have several options. This base is “zero clearance”, which means you can use it with “no legs”. It’s perfectly fine to put this on the floor, or you can put it on a platform (with no legs from the base) as long as your platform base is strong enough to support the total weight ( base weight + mattress weight + people weight). If you aren’t using a platform, and want to add height, you can use the legs provided with the base to support the base. You don’t need a box spring or metal bed frame as the base will be supported by its own legs. Hope this helps!

@@BlueLADodger is it possible to dim or turn off the control box blue light?

@@brwnblkr3661 No way to adjust the brightness of the blue light that is under the bed. The light is there to show you that it’s receiving power.
I would probably cover the light with a little piece of black electrical tape if it bothers you.

How do you re-pair the remote and control box? My remote stopped responding!

There are a few versions of this adjustable base. All versions have CHILD LOCK, so I would check that first. 1) Make sure the base is plugged into a working outlet (i.e. plug a lamp or something else into the same wall outlet to make sure it works); 2) Make sure you have good batteries in the remote. 3) Push and hold down the "FOOT UP and the FOOT DOWN" buttons at the same time for 10 seconds. You should see it blink 2 times. This will unlock the remote. Gotta make sure you see the remote blink twice to unlock. You can also try to LOCK and then UNLOCK.
FYI to LOCK the remote, push and hold down "HEAD UP and HEAD DOWN" at the same time for 10 seconds and the remote will blink twice . To UNLOCK, push "FOOT UP and the FOOT DOWN " for 10 seconds and wait for the backlight of the remote to blink twice (its very faint).
The remote may lock if you accidentally sit on the remote or squish it between the pillows (it happens!) , or if your thumb is too close to the "middle" section (that is between the "head up" and "head down"). If you push in the middle of that HEAD button, it thinks you are pushing both buttons, thus locking it.
      To reprogram your remote:
      1) Remove the back cover off the remote control. You'll need to access to the PAIR button (located above the battery section) later.
      2) If you have the Ease 1.0 or Ease 2.0, you will push the black button on the battery backup box (underneath the base, its where you would put two 9volt batteries in to move the base down if the power goes out). This battery backup box has a Black button (next to a little bulb) and you push that button twice quickly. The light on the backup box turns on, and then you will push and hold down the button on the back of the remote control for about 10 seconds. It's a clear "gel" type button, you push and hold it down, it will flash blue. Keep holding it down until it stops flashing. Once it stops, the remote is paired.
For EASE 3.0(purchased after Sept 2019)
      1) Remove the back cover off the remote control. You'll need to access to the PAIR button (located above the battery section) later.
      2) unplug the base
      3) Plug the base back in, and push and hold the PAIR button - It's a clear "gel" type button, you push and hold it down for about 10 seconds it will flash blue. Keep holding it down until it stops flashing. Once it stops, the remote is paired.
Hope this helps - GOOD LUCK!

alyce naranjo it’s probably on child lock. Make sure it’s plugged in and push Foot UP and Foot Down for 10 seconds. The remote should blink twice.
I made a video with a different remote, but the instructions are the same for the Ease
