Hey man! Glad to see you falling down the Sleep Token rabbit hole! I swear their music must be capable of rewiring people's brains, it's so good. Vessel's voice and lyrical talent are unmatched.
There are different characters for each song. I'm not 100% sure what they are tho. So Vessel and II are the main band members, they do the writing and recording in studio. Vessel sings, does his own backup vocals in studio, plays bass, guitar, keys on the albums, II plays all drums and percussion. For touring, they have a group of women called Espera that does back up vocals, a bass player, III, and a guitar player, IV. They perform the music that Vessel recorded for the songs. They're all very talented and together, magic. Glad you picked up on the pain Vessel has....their albums are a trilogy with an underlying story of Vessel and his tumultuous love life. It's a journey through emotions you never knew you needed to hear in order to heal. Ambient metal with all kinds of surprises!! 😂 Worship ❤

Another great reaction! I know others have suggested it but you should watch II’s (drummer) play through on Drumeo. He does a bunch of play throughs but this one is fantastic and I would love to see your thoughts on the drumming. His drumming on the Ambient part….chef’s kiss!!
I will definitely get on that, watching him do a drum through of the songs will be a experience like no other i imagine, I'm definitely looking forward to it, i may have to get on that sooner than later cause everyone is telling me about it, may do a surprise upload for that one lol. If you don't go back to the beginning of The Sundowning, you are going to miss out on the theme of the Tmbte album. Plus there are multiple call backs that'll give you goosebumps if you catch them. I really suggest stopping and going back to The Night Does Not Belong To God. 🤘
Agreed! It will just make you appreciate this album even more! All three albums are a trilogy! Also, you won’t grasp the last song on TMBTE if you haven’t started from the beginning! Just a thought 😁
I disagree, it's not a one size fits all order! This album is a masterpiece, and going back to the beginning misses out on showcasing their maturity in their craft, delaying it. Going back after this album just makes you appreciate this one more.
@@TB-sp9jy I definitely agree that this album is a masterpiece on its own without having to go back and listen to their previous albums, I guess I just meant more or less that it will tie everything together and help make the story make a little bit more sense plus, of course it will allow one to recognize all of the callbacks in Euclid
II the drummer from Sleep Token does this song on Drumeo as a playthrough with the drum solo he adds live. I wouldn't recommend doing the interview he did yet as you haven't listened to the songs that he plays in the interview.
