they were obviously lip syncincing because they had to... you could tell they didn't want to either. look at 1:37 Sting points at the mic like "Woooah! how am I doing this!" For some reason a lot of tv shows need the musicians to lip sync. I've seen Nirvana and Muse do something similar where they were playing around the entire time while performing

@@kemi3883 I just read both Copeland's and Summer's books. There are passing references to drugs but not many. Neither said or even hinted that drugs contributed to their disbanding. It was that they just couldn't work together anymore because their working styles were no longer compatible.
