Damn I got emotional when Marty said that Joe looked at him and said : "we really had a good time didn't we?" . I did the same when Joe passed. I surprised myself being as emotional as I was that day. I never in my life reacted that way about the passing of someone I never met. He and Marty were such a major part of my childhood. Good stuff Thom I love the show
I was born in 76. Although I was terrible at it, I loved baseball and I would fall asleep every night after struggling to stay awake listening to Marty and Joe. I haven’t heard Marty talking since his retirement until I just watched this, and I had a nostalicgasm.
Hi Marty!! (btw There's one thing you either have or you don't. Marty's voice is a gift - real clear enuciation and sound quality. I feel like I never missed a thing!)
Great stuff here. Grew up listening to Marty and Joe. "Rounding 3rd and headed for home". I always loved Marty's "Tonight's Titanic struggle" cool to hear the backstory

Easily the best hour of your podcast tenure so far. Well done gentlemen.
