This should be pinned at the top to save a few brain cells
Thanks you saved my valuable 40 mins of sleep
I like how he starts talking about other artist needing to consider these things as well and figure out the problem and why it’s happening but literally this has only happened at his concert nobody else’s. No one else does this shit or lets it happen. This was so disappointing
how much responsibility should he take? Come for me if you want...idgaf. But I watched the videos that people are putting up and this man CLEARLY didnt know that shit was happening. He is clearly remorseful and I think this is a bs witch hunt. Because people are yelling boycott Kylie Cosmetics like it was HER fucking concert. All the bs about demon worship is dumb af. I went to a concert once in my life. It was a Kpop band. People were crazy. It was terribly hot in the crowd. I think people should stop treating artists like gods. Unfortunately, I think it was not only Travis' fault that he didn’t interrupt the concert, but also the fault of the fans and their crazy behavior.
la flame fans are different..
If you seen videos the fans were the ones doing something about it with the cops and emt on site. travis saw an ambulance and still didn’t stop the show, cops told him what was happening, his own people, fans ran on stage and told him and he didn’t stop and didn’t care and then comes on here and lies about certain things and people act like he didn’t do anything or blame it on the fans…. Like if he would have stopped the show many people would have survived it, if he would have told people to move they would have moved. He needed a real interviewer to fully go in on this unfortunate ordeal. I think Oprah would have gotten everything out of him.
It's been 2 years and I still can't believe that people tried to blame Travis for not having control over idk how many people, people is crazy haha
Fr, they got on Travis for not helping his fans at Astroworld but that's lowkey what they wanted to happen. They wanted a reason to talk bad on Travis and to create all these conspiracies and what not. They could care less about ppl dying, as long as they get to troll and talk bad about something he had no control over.
Part of it to is that people kept saying that he didn't stop his show and didn't help people, but he literally stopped his show every time he SAW someone who needed help. This incident proved how far people reach and how stupid they look to make someone look like the worst person on earth.
We’re blaming him because even after seeing people being carried out unconscious and people even telling the film crew stop the show he didn’t stop if he stopped it earlier life’s would’ve been saved

This is the most vague conversation I’ve ever heard. “With everything going on” you mean ten people DYING at your show??
It's baffling how detached from the situation he is, even if he feels and knows he's not at fault the lack of sincerity is disturbing.
I definitely agree with you on that I think this is just another way to want to bring another black rapper down like they done Tupac Shakur and Biggie Smalls all great rappers always end up going down because like I tell everyone if I had a choice to die somewhere I want to go out with a bang I wouldn't want to die alone at home and all by myself some people don't know what it's like when you don't have no one with you do you have no one that cares if you don't even have one to hold your hand while you passing away and that's what's going to happen to me cuz I have no family after all the good I have done for certain people I still stand in this world alone music like Travis Scott keeps me fighting to keep me going just like my favorite rapper Tupac Shakur like he did for me when he was alive if somebody was to do a movie of my life need like a 40 soundtrack CD
To me he seems super sincere. He’s not giving rehearsed responses. He’s not forcing crocodile tears. The truth is there’s nothing he can really say because people aren’t discussing this reasonably
y'know there's something called being in shock about something, bruh why are people in this comment section so dense but the y'know comments are pretty funny

Well said
It's not about being insincere or emotionless it's about not incriminating yourself if you had a team of lawyer's you would do the same
@@toniduenas7223 here's the problem, if he had a good team of people around him they would tell him how stupid doing this interview would be, especially since he actually lies a few times in it
@@toniduenas7223 it’s not an admission of guilt to have even just an ounce of compassion for people who died at your concert, as well as the thousands of others who suffered an incredibly traumatic experience. why do the interview at all then? if I had a team of lawyers, I would’ve had them write me a better script than this hour long bullshit session. there are so many inconsistencies and lies in his story, you’d think a millionaire’s legal team would be able to point those out.
To be completely honest, people need to shut the fuck up and think about how it would be to be in his position during something like this. Everyones clowning him for his apologies sounding "not genuine". The way he talks is the way he has always talked about everything and anyone. He has apologized numerous times and there's really nothing else he can do. People are talking about how he doesn't have any empathy or car but again, everyone saying that has no idea how hard it is to be in his position. He cares and he means it. As far as the concert itself goes, I will stand by the fact that it wasn't really his fault. During the show it was dark outside and people were backed up for a mile. He's not fucking magician, most of what happened occurred farther in the back where he legitimately couldn't see it. Some people were also screaming for him to stop, he has headphones in and glasses on. There was a video of two people climbing backstage and telling camera crew and security to stop the show. NOT TRAVIS. Security is there for a reason and they didn't do their job. There was one situation that happened in the front of the crowd that Travis stopped the show for until it was safe because he could FUCKING SEE IT. He can't magically control thousands upon thousands of people to behave perfectly, he's a human, understand that.
Aye late reply but very well said. This is what I’ve always said. Travis is a very awkward person when it comes to interviews but u unfortunately everyone expects a full blown essay when shit goes down. He’s always been like this, and in fact most artists are. The reason he makes music /art is to be able to express himself not in this format. Terrible situation for everyone involved and I hope closure is found amongst every victim

It’s genuinely crazy how your still stuck in the mindset that it was his fault, when he spent this whole 50 minute interview explaining the difficulty of controlling 50 thousand people, and the worst of the worst unfortunately happened. He sounded like a complete fool during the interview who could not articulate one clear thought. And yes, he does bear responsibility. He tweeted to his fans to sneak in even if they did not have a ticket...all you have to do is look at the video footage of the fans jumping over and through barriers. Yes, the fans themselves share in this responsibility, but Travis Scott lit the flame with that Tweet...and investigators will look to that as one of the reasons for the mayhem. Words matter!
@@rotcx3037 it’s his festival and concert, so he’s responsible for some of what happened. He’s the owner so it’s his job to make sure the venue is at least safe for his fans and not encourage others to sneak in which caused crowd crush.....
Also speaking from personal experience after going through something traumatic it can make you appear emotionless on the outside. You just don’t know what to say or how to respond. You don’t know what that’s like until you experience it and then when people call you out on it it doesn’t matter what you say they still think you don’t give a fuck. I have been on that side of things and I know what it’s like and it sucks. I really wish that people would back off of him and anyone else that has this type of response. If he didn’t care he wouldn’t have done this interview. He also has waited to drop his album that he was supposed to drop out of respect for the families of the deceased so I’m pretty sure he does care. I think we could also put some responsibility on the crowd and the security who literally wouldn’t pull anybody out unless they were already unconscious or dead. If he would’ve stopped the show there could’ve been riots making things 10 times worse and if anybody actually had any care about what was going on then there may have been a panic also making things 10 times worse. Because everybody would’ve been trying to leave at the same time and trampling people on the way out.
that part.
Facts. Its crazy seeing people being all SJW without even realizing travis truly does care. I have had something very traumatic happen to me and i was the same way. Ppl thought i was emotionless but I actually couldnt stop thinking about it and felt like i was overly emotional just all on the inside.
this is so facts also theres full on videos breaking down the crowd movement there was a sza concert that ended and every rushed to the travis show from that and that happens to be the same area all of the 8 ppl died 🤔not to mention an earpiece, lights, so many mixed signals could make it hard to even see your fans. they located where people were chanting to stop the show and they were all the way in the back 😂 of 50,000+ people. there was a collision in crowd movement and that is the location the 8 people died there were interviews people said they didn’t even know ppl were getting hurt. for people who ACTUALLY have a life and go to fun shows and mosh you would know how it is when you spend a large amount of money to see an artist you really like that artist, adrenaline makes you go wild and that happened to everyone there. Its not travis scotts fault, its hard to stop his festival show in general and on too of that all these factors permitting him from doing so. it was a shitty venue, security was bad, and people rushed the stage along with a highly unexpected amount of people who broke in. Travis scott stops the show multiple times more than he usually does to help people passed out. some people aren’t ready to go to a travis scott show. why would you bring your kid to a travis show and then there was a girl who looked like a rich, clout chasing, d bag who probably was there for the instagram post. travis scott is a nervous person by nature so this is making it worse dont come after him if you arent a fan or anyway connected to rap music stick to ur stupid indie rock shit and mind ya business of what happen here

People are so cynical. He was an artist and was not aware of deaths until much later. He did not organize the event. He has some responsibility, but so does the crowd in that case. He’s not the one responsible for the deaths.
People suing him just do it so they can potentially get paid, they don’t give a crap about what happened.
Travis is known to be an awkward, not so talkative person. Of course he feels remorse but since he’s not good at explaining himself, you’re not gonna get much out of him.
I am not defending him, he has his faults and he is definitely partially responsible. But people make it out like he’s the main person to blame. He did not organize this, Live Nation did.

Doesn't make sense, yeah he should be held accountable but at the same time there's ppl who aren't behaving you can rage and still give af about the ppl around you, as he said he's been doing this for years... travis isn't the smartest guy but ppl should know what they're getting into instead of just blindly accepting shit or trying things, this is an example of the state of the world rn believe it or not, just takes a different perspective you can't just start hating on someone or even their life just because they were involved in such a thing, you have to look at it from all sides even if you're just a fan or among the common.
All I heard was “you know”
Imagine being the family member of one of those kids that died & watching this. He never apologized ONCE. I’m so sorry to everyone involved in this devastating situation, he should be ashamed.
even how he said there was no intention with this interview
i guess they know now
That part
Or maybe if you're the family member of one of the kids that died you should feel ashamed for how irresponsible and how much of a shitty parent you are for letting a little child go to a Travis Scott concert???
ruclips.net/video/RKB_KTJIMZU/видео.html
The amount of “you know” in this actually broke my brain for a while
Just subscribed
I’m not gone lie, Travis ran around damn near every question he was asked
Zero accountability.
He really did , he said a whole lot of nothing
He’s being sued for billions and can potentially go to prison.
Facts
@@JLM498 wasn’t his fault clown
As a huge Travis fan that’s been to his shows a few times it’s really disappointing to hear him not talk about how his actions during the show had an effect on what ended up happening here. Charlagmane should have showed him the actual footage of what he said when the ambulance was in the crowd because he clearly states “what the fuck, why is there an ambulance in the crowd” and then in the interview he’s trying to deny he even knew it was an ambulance. Also he literally spent 5/10 seconds checking if everything was okay before saying “I wanna see the ground shake goddamit”. Is just not good enough and he knows that, this could have happened at any of his shows in the last few years if the safety precautions were as bad as they were at astroworld. I get what he’s saying about the safety not being good enough and that is important but you also have to look at what you did, especially when people lost their lives. Is just not good enough and won’t stand up in court in my opinion. RIP to all the people that passed and sincere condolences to all the families, I hope that when the court case happens and all the evidence is presented in front of trav from past concerts and what he said at this concert he will realize but not too sure after watching this… very disappointing
About the ambulance very true
Exactly. He encourages the mayhem at this shows & now people are dead. It's all fun & games to him, but it all went wrong at Astroworld
As if he even knows you exist lol
@@jqryan yeah the thing that gets me is the ambulance like why didn’t he stop the show and also he fucked up because if the organizers came in his ear saying we’re gonna stop the show after drake’s finished and you’ve seen an ambulance in the crowd + people passing out, if you really cared about the safety of your fans you should ask what is going on before continuing with the set or stop it all together…
@@allaboutthemurzic Just stop.
Till 6:15
He said 61"you know"
every time someone like the comment I'll remember and come back to count the rest
He saw that ambulance on the crowd. He said wtf is that. Cmon
This is a prepared statement by a lawyer. Everything that Travis Scott is saying here he has been coached to say to not implicate himself any further in the tragedy. So the fact that they call this a conversation is very suspect.
The fact that they coached him to say "you know" a lot, really helped him curb most of those answers 🤣🤣
Nah bro it’s obvious hes speaking facts let that man be and hear him tf
Ya know 🤦🏽♂️
Trash comment. People just wanna blame everybody but the thousands that broke down the gate and the event staff for letting Travis go on with such an over packed venue.
I'm still listening to Travis Scott daily though... We ain't stopping.
Travis must be a mad dodgeball player, dodging all these tough questions like crazy.
Facts talking in hella circles he said a lot of shit over and over. Almost turned this dam interview off.. 🤦🏿♂️
Facts!
he’s a kardashian/jenner they taught him well
"any question"
"You knooow, I am always about, you know, about good time, you know, and any time, you know, it's just, you know"
that comment so corny
Truth is there’s nothing Travis Scott can really say that’d be good enough for the online mobs cus people aren’t thinking about or discussing the situation rationally
Just cause he didn't know how to communicate how bad he felt doesn't mean he didn't y'all just need to blame someone. If he was white y'all would've had compassion 😒
I agree. They need to leave Travis alone
Travis brings a new meaning to the phrase “I have no words…”
You know
ruclips.net/video/RKB_KTJIMZU/видео.html
You are right about that ya know I was speeches and infuriated. A mass casualty event is happening so as soon as champagne papi finishes we have to start helping?? I need a response from Houston on this one. I'm a man of God? What ambulance? The one I pointed out?
🤣🤣💀
CTG: so what do you think happened?
Travis: we just have to fix this, ya know
CTG: What can we do in the future to prevent this?
Travis: Fix this I think, ya know
CTG: How can we fix this?
Travis: By fixing it ya know
😂🙄🙄😂
Omg I thought the same thing. I was literally going to go back and count how many times he said that statement.
It was hard to even listen to this bullshit smh
😂😂😂😂😂😂 has he ever interviewed before ?
He did mention the wristband idea or even an idea, in general, don't make it seem like he completely ignored everything.
When I am at home and I'm listening to his music on RUclips or Pandora I get am I got so excited I lose it it's like being in a trance you get so hypnotized by the words and then lyrics you just feel so powerful in that moment and that's what music does with me when I'm having a bad day or somebody making fun of me somebody calling me mentally retarded or just bullying me for no reason his music makes me stand up for myself we don't lost so many other great rappers in this game I'm just don't want to lose another one that's all I'm trying to say period and Tupac was one of my biggest favorite rappers when he was alive and Nipsey and young Dolph. I just don't want to see his music to go out like a light. Because that's what they're trying to make happen.
It’s like talking to a Potatoe Chip. A baked one.
Whoever thought this was a great PR move should be fired. This dude can’t even string two sentence together let alone take responsibility for what has happened. SMH
Idk, for only two sentences, it's a pretty long video. Makes me wonder if it was you who couldn't get past two sentences
@@yaseen9044 Travis Scott is just as guilty as the event organizers and everyone knows it.
You can’t really take full responsibility when you have 1000 pending cases.
@@ArkansasGamer no
What he’s wearing to how ignorant he’s speaking like he can’t talk it’s bizarre
If I had to drink for every time Travis said “ya know..” I would have to get my stomach pumped 😂
Right 😂
Lmao😂
Damn this is the only phase that stands out now 😂🤣
he was well spoken tho give the black man his credit on that end
yes and the word experiance lol
Some people really don’t know how to express themselves at all , like me I hate being transparent and vulnerable idk how
Y’all hate this man for no reason 🤦🏽♂️
He didn’t do nothing wrong 💯💯
Wake up and smell the coffee ...
Travis choosing to be this vauge and monotone almost makes him seem dismissive to what happened at Astroworld, in my opinion. I'm floored he agreed to do an interview, and chose the route of showing hardly any emotion and leaving out all details. I still havent felt any sincerity from him about the situation... The initial response he gave the morning after put off bad vibes, he looked hungover and stressed, but in no way emotionally disturbed by the people he had part in the death of. Now this. I am just confused. He claims hes hurting, but honestly I really feel its due to financial loss and pressure from his loved ones and peers to make this right before things get worse. The documentary put out on the situation said multiple times that it is rare for someone to Die at a concert. So why has Travis had this happen at his events multiple times now? Bad luck? I dont think so... I just want a genuine apology and some responsibility taken for shooing the crew members who were trying to inform him of what was going on, off stage. I want to know the camera crew guys have been fired for threatening innocent fans trying to get help. I want this made right and I think a lot of others agree.
You do realize the reason why he comes across as vague is because HE HAS LAWSUTS? He can’t be giving too much information about his feelings
@@RaidenKyo Yeah I was thinking that too he can't say what he wants to say he also has people sueing who just want money lmao
Seems like he's high on something to me, honestly.
@@AmethystSnow highly possible
That man is being hit with all type of suits he can't say or show any type of emotions that's Lawsuits 101!
I’m sorry, but he said a whole lot of nothing this entire interview. He said a lot of words, with not a lot of meaning. My condolences to the families ❤️
Travis should not do interviews. He can't speak. All he said was 'you know' and 'I mean.' Didn't answer any of the questions. What was the point! My condolences to the families for their loss.
Travis can only repay what he did by going through the same thing that those fans experienced with the same outcome. Please refrain yourself from living Travis scott, and take your girlfriend's family with you.
at least he stated what he was tryna do for the future publicly instead of staying quiet and letting the media figure out everything
@@jeezus1740 It’s definitely a start, than just staying completely silent. So I agree
❤
its really funny this comment section acts they're psychology experts
it's kinda pretentious but travis kinda deserves it lol
ONG I FIND IT SO FUNNY 😭
can we also acknowledge the fact that a radio show host as big as charlamagne uploaded this interview in un-corrected LOG footage lol the fuck
I heard so many “You know” in this interview that my ears started bleeding 🌝🌝🌝🤭🤭
there’s a reason travis never really speaks out he’s not used to everybody paying attention to his character more then the music.
Facts.
You have a really valid point on that , but I think it's because his music hard af lol
Facts
Ya he's weird but that isn't always a bad thing but then again he's weird lol
@@ladyinred3554 very awkward
This dude sounds like a teenager by his age he should be able to have a adult conversation. You know!!!! God bless all the families hurting from this tragedy.
😂😂😂😂😂😂
One year later i come back to this interview with an whole diffrent view. Just imagine how much pressure the "real festival" owner press on him. It seems like he has to control the narritiv that he is bot allowed to connect the evidence with his brand. And i think Charlamane is knowing that he is not free to speak about his "true feelings". Its a little bit sad. Travis on his own give little details, when he said "after few weeks i feel somebody needet to step up for this " or " the proffesionals told me.. ".
I just watched it 1 year later with an diffrent angle. Its little bit sad when u see it
People are actually delusional. Leave Travis Scott alone it’s not his fault at all. It’s the stadium’s fault for not being able to control a crowd.
Nah buddy, you are, if you think 20-30 people have the ability to control a sea of thousands being encouraged to rush a stage by the very person that's paying for their services.
Travis didn’t do anything
Travis should still be held accountable
"You Know"
If I had a penny for every time he said “you know” I’d be able to pay off every single person in the lawsuit
you’re funny.
you'd have $4.72
😂❤
“How I feel at times too” I break down hearing those words
Everyone is not a emotional person .. he can’t attach hisself because his family is good. He probably feel bad but no one who didn’t get a effected only feels bad. Also people need to take responsibility for their actions
This interviewer was too chilled and lenient . We need Barbra Walters for this.
Right
🙌🏽
John Stewart. Roll 212
He really thought he could just google "how to fake having empathy" 5 minutes prior to the interview
got'em
Sensational comment.
He never even said anything remotely like "sorry" In his so called "apology video"
If someone can count how many times he said "you know" they need a medal
Someone said about 5.3 Billion times
