In this android tutorial, we will create three designs of card views using the recycler view. In the previous video, we will create a dashboard design with a static top bar and now in this video, we are going to add card views to design it better.

Also how do I make the cards interactive, like I want to click on a card and go inside it, or suppose in categories if I click on Restaurants card, it should show up the list of restaurants, how do I do that?

I'm beginner in android now I have one doubt
Should I need to create activity each time to intent, Let me ask question with example for example I'm going to create food delivery app There are many hotels and each hotels have different recipes so now i'm going to create one activity with name as ABChotel with some recipes and going to create another activity with name as BBBhotel with some recipes and so on(hotels with recipes)
now there will n number of activity and it takes more memory and app size will be more right?
IS There any way to solve this in java ? How to do that?

U can use that as a recycle background option the same way we did for others. I'll create video on it

Not really, you can organise them by names only! Let say we have admin screens so add admin at the start of each xml and then their name might be helpful

If the design and data is different then we have to create separate recyclers

I had faced this error in Logcat after copying the Adapter & HelperClasses for another recycler view.
Caused by: java.lang.NullPointerException: Attempt to invoke virtual method 'void androidx.recyclerview.widget.RecyclerView.setHasFixedSize(boolean)' on a null object reference.

Hello my friend..! Congrats for your video tutorials..! Question: What if you were getting the textviews which are outside of the recyclerview dynamically(from rest api)? How you were going to manage this? For the items inside recyclerview it is simpler cause you use the recyclerAdapter (gson+retrofit+okhttp)... but outside the recyclerview how you bind the views? How you display them dynamically on the screen?

You can get the time in String or in Int and pass it using Intent or use Shared Preferences

It's not that difficult! And there are many ways to implement it.
You can use Session(Shared preference) for that purpose and just add some cart image in each cardView and when user click's it, you can add that in the session and then total it

FeaturedViewHolder featuredViewHolder = new FeaturedViewHolder(view);
