Hey y'all! I'm back with another video! #Revair dropped a new and improved dryer and I couldn't resist. The #reverseair is supposed to be healthier for #naturalhair by preventing #heatdamage. The new #Revair is smaller and quieter. Even though it still costs $400+, especially if you are getting the total package, they do have promotions here and there if you can't justify paying the full ticket price. Let me know your thoughts on the #revair AND what I should do with the old one.

If anyone is hesitant to buy this dryer, just DO it. Also, if you have the old one, it’ll sell for about $250-350 on Poshmark or Mercari as long as it’s still in great condition.

I really want this hair dryer cuz my hair tangles so bad but a blow out with low heat will def help my braidouts. Plus my hair high porosity so stretching it helps
It’s a great investment. I haven’t tried using it to stretch a style but it’s on my list

The Black Friday Deal started early. Haggle and you can get the price down even lower. He don't necessarily have to have a carrying bag, they can deduct the price for that.

I can't believe you do 90 seconds on high heat at such high suction! I do only suction of 4 and for under 60 seconds always. Longer and it fries my hair. Try combing your hair with a detangling brush before using the revair so you don't need to expose your hair to heat for so long. I sometimes will do only 30 seconds then once I'm done with my whole head go back through with a blow dryer with a comb attachment to just get the roots really good. That way I don't fry my ends but my hair gets straight with no pulling or breakage.
Everybody’s hair is different so 90 seconds rotating between high, low and no heat works for my already detangled hair 🤷🏽♀️. Maybe the fact that you are using both the RevAir and then going to a blow dryer could be the cause. I’ve been using the RevAir since 2019 and no problems.
@@Uniquely_Naptural Oh you don't do only high heat! Yeah, I do just high heat, so that's the difference. I don't do the regular blow dryer on the ends, just sometimes right at the root, so that I don't need to use the revair until my roots are dry. My ends dry much faster than my roots.
I may do some crazy things in my life but using only high heat is not one lol. I also use a heat protectant I just didn’t show that.

How often do you wash and blow dry ? and what products you use?
So in general I wash my hair once a week. Products varies because I just grab whatever. I blow dry my hair MAYBE 3-4 times a year using the Design Essentials heat protectant.

@@sable7114 I usually didn’t use it often because I only did wash and gos to my hair. Since starting my channel, I will be experimenting more with it and other styles as time goes on

Did u use a heat protection before u blow dried? If so what did u use?

@@Uniquely_Naptural Even though you did use heat protection, did you receive any damage from using the Revair?, or did you notice any looser curl patterns in your hair? I haven't seen any immediately results afterwards. Most users flat iron their hair and you don't know which heating element caused the damage.
@Mickey I have been using the RevAir since 2019. From then to now, including the new one I have probably used them MAYBE 7ish times. I have not noticed any damage or changes in my curl pattern. My curl pattern has always been looser in the front. No issues with reverting either. Because of the air going in reverse compared to regular dryers, it is supposed decrease the possibility of heat damage. Hopefully that helps. Also I never flat iron my hair afterwards
