They are so adorable but yes I must agree they are quite a handful. I only have one that was abandoned and Left 4 Dead and is approximately three to four weeks of age his eyes are still closed. I cannot even imagine having three of him LOL. God bless you love thank you for sharing
If they had rabies they would be dead already. They suckle for comfort, not just food. They are a lot of work, 24/7. Good luck, it's well worth helping these little critters.
Baby raccoons need as much attention as human babies. Once they get bigger and are housebroken, they become independent, but you still need to show them love and take care of them, like any other pet. Definitely, raccoons are not toys. It is difficult not to love them. They are amazing.❤
Thank-you for helping them, a very positive and memorable experience for you all. I know it is alot of work, raising any baby mammal of any species, but worth it! Looks like you did a really good job too.
I adore my eight raccoons that come to my back door is now to get something to eat including my two big possums! No one is aggressive. Just beautiful creatures!
They're so smart. They're a handful as adults. I can't imagine the work required to care for the babies. I watched a news program about a wildlife rehab that's saying that raccoons require a special infant formula specifically for them. $250 a bucket. Feeds 8 babies for a month. Or 4 babies for 2 months, and so on.
Brings back found memories and I love the disclaimer! Sometimes accidents happen and a compassionate person has no choice! I so loved the feeding scene! They are so demanding!! So precious and worth the effort...
I Raised Two Racoons Before female & male named Ally & Bandit (: iiHad them wen they were Lil an Once they grew older we took then to the backyard an they would stay on our Tree (: wen there hungry they would steal our 6 pitbulls food lol very friendly
You have to be very patient with these adorable little creatures that God has placed on this earth. They just need a lot of attention their mothers would be giving them.”❤”
I just loved watching this I had a B.B. squirrel and he grew up and hung around our trees but always came home to his kennel and his little bed. He came home one day crawled into his bed and died. At least he knew where to come. He was very 🤕
kathy johnstone awww. This made me so sad. I love sweet animals, honestly like them more than humans. We take care of a whole bunch of creatures in our back yard which is the woods! The all know us, trust us and show us some love! If I could care for every animal out there, I would! Lol
If I am not mistaken, "rodents" like squirrels & rabbits av. lifespan is 2 yrs maybe 3. Your little one was probably never accepted or never found a mate, so it likely came home and died of loneliness. You were his/her home.
Leave it to those who have time! And those who have great patience! And the love to care for them! Cuz nothing is overwhelming when you have love for a creature!
Ha ha "are you hungry!? ...YES ALWAYS!!!! even if our tummy is going to explode; man if you ever do it Again, get several bottles then no one has to fight, or wait, and always cuddle after eating.
This makes me miss the raccoons I use to bottle feed and care for. They were a handful. lots and lots of work, but well worth it.They’re not babies anymore and were released back into the Wild. They were wonderful to be around though.
Karo French You are so right!!! They got too little! After feeding three (!!!) babies the bottle was half full and the little ones as hungry as before!
I currently rescued one but I can't get it to really eat at all so i don't know what to do about it ... Any advice?? I've tried baby bottle and a little dropper but nothing works and it's too young to eat solid food and doesn't have any teeth yet so .. what's my best bet ?
My gf and i found 2 6 week old raccoon last week and took them home to take care of them. We tried finding an animal shelter but where i live everything is completely full, so since their too young to go on their own we are keeping them for now till the get bigger/older to release them. I live in toronto, and i dont know about anywhere else but they are illegal to keep as 'pets' here. Which sucks cuz they are fun and they get along with cats, just trying to figure out more food options. We are currently feeding them kitten milk or something like that, any tips would be awesome..
Chris L-w have you called wildlife rescue groups? There are also certain groups out there meant specifically for raccoon rescue and even raccoon habitats! You may even be able to get one to USA if there isn't any in your area or they can't take them. They should help you find a place. You usually can't raise them inside and then release into the Wild because they don't know how to fend for themselves, find food, make dens, socialize etc because they weren't raised by Mommy in the wild. So you're going to need to find a wildlife rescue, animal sanctuary or raccoon specific sanctuary. You have a lot of research and calling around to do to find arrangements for them! Good luck! Make sure you keep them warm - Lots of blankets and a heat lamp! They can't regulate their body temps when they're super young! Whatever you do - don't release them back into the wild! They'll die, even if they're full grown!! You have to find somewhere for them to go!
Jintana Clements call any local wildlife rescue you can as soon as possible. They can help you. Also search the Internet (not YT) because there are a bunch of pages that are devoted to telling you step by step instructions of what to do and what to feed them etc. Bur make sure you call a wildlife rescue as they can really help you, they may even be able to take them for you which would je better than you trying to do it yourself! Good luck! Make sure to keep them super warm - blankets and a heat lamp!
This guy is something else! how about not feed the baby when both other babies are freaking out for milk not allowing the one you’re feeding to eat in peace. Geez so inconsiderate, and those babies should of ate longer than 60 seconds each.
Yes, they are. You have to be careful or they will eat too much; it's hard to deal with their pathetic cries and mournful reaching out to you, but once their tummy is full you have to either cuddle or put them up cause they can literally eat themselves to death.
I can't believe I gave the young Raccoon 2 a so called rescue lady, had I known at the time there were Raccoons in Central Park I would have kept her until she had grown a little more I don't know why it's against the law 2 own Raccoons in NY
Raccoons can carry several dangerous diseases including rabies. While incidents of rabid raccoons attacking humans are rare, it's not something you want to risk. Raccoons carry two other diseases, roundworm and leptospirosis, that can also be transmitted to humans and pets.
Roundworm is not a disease and leptospirosis is a possibility with dirty water. It's also a concern for any cat or dog that drinks outside water, although there are vaccines for it. It is also doubtful that a raccoon would birth kits while being sick with rabies, so the babies aren't going to have rabies. Animals with rabies die pretty quickly. Racoons are nocturnal, so if you see one in the daytime, something is amiss. That's when you start thinking rabies. They can be mean, but that's their nature, not a disease. If you don't know a raccoon, stay away from it. If one aggressively attacks you, and you haven't been aggressive towards it, think rabies. I'd be more afraid of armadillos. They can carry leprosy.
And so can other pets. This is why all dogs and cats need veterinarian care and all the required shots. Raccoons are no different. Rabies happens in plenty other species, including household and farm animals. When raccoons receive their shots, they are safe to keep.
They are so adorable but yes I must agree they are quite a handful. I only have one that was abandoned and Left 4 Dead and is approximately three to four weeks of age his eyes are still closed. I cannot even imagine having three of him LOL. God bless you love thank you for sharing

Oh my Goodness they are sooooo cute ! I love the shape of their heads and the squawking lol
yeah they're so cute but loud.

Beautiful and cute videos. I lost it 😂😂😂 when they started walking all scared to walk on floor. Hilarious!!!!
So cute! Really neat to hear their noises...same noises I heard through my walls when I had raccoons living in my attic.
OmG that must have been a little unnerving lol but I love Raccoons

I'd bet the few weeks you had with them must have felt good. Though you made sure they were given a good and safe home, you probably miss them still.
They remind me of kittens.
Leave it to those who have time! And those who have great patience! And the love to care for them! Cuz nothing is overwhelming when you have love for a creature!
They love crawdads make sure water is available so they can start washing their food when older.
You’re a good mama
Pacifiers. It is comforting and releases brain chemicals when they do the action. Bonding. Your mama.
That’s a sign of “ I’m starving “ I don’t want your finger ignorant human “ I want a bottle !
They sound like the ghosts on Mario.
This took me back to hand rearing 3 kittens and that was hard enough, they are so cute and one day I hope I get to see some and squirrels 🇦🇺
Ha ha "are you hungry!? ...YES ALWAYS!!!! even if our tummy is going to explode; man if you ever do it Again, get several bottles then no one has to fight, or wait, and always cuddle after eating.
I wonder how much sleep the mom and dad are getting
They make the same noise as that rapper Desiigner
Moo Moo Puppy lmao

Tnk God for this beauty pest so cute😘😘😘😚💖💖💖❤💋
Maybe you shoot have 3 bottles next time?
Karo French You are so right!!! They got too little! After feeding three (!!!) babies the bottle was half full and the little ones as hungry as before!
That is so cool where did you get baby raccoons?
I would hope anyone with a kind heart ❤ for any creature would do this. It may not be the best advice, but leaving them to die would be cruel!
I currently rescued one but I can't get it to really eat at all so i don't know what to do about it ... Any advice?? I've tried baby bottle and a little dropper but nothing works and it's too young to eat solid food and doesn't have any teeth yet so .. what's my best bet ?
What should I feed the babies I saved I really don't want them to die
Kitten replacement milk. You can Google how much per 4 hrs per wieght. I got a 4 wk old right now.
Why do the baby suck on the finger when there is no milk and she let it do it for 5 minutes. What’s the reason? Can anybody explain please? Thanks 😊
They seem to want to be in constant contact with each other. That makes sense to me.
They're social animals
My gf and i found 2 6 week old raccoon last week and took them home to take care of them. And be sure to watch some of Raccoon Willy to see what you could be in to!
Looks like the makings of a horror film D:
I found a baby raccoon in my garage what do I do
We found two about two weeks old. What should we feed them. We got formulae from PetSmart but they don't seem to want to eat just sleeping :(
Jintana Clements call any local wildlife rescue you can as soon as possible. They can help you. Need to set up a holder for 3 bottles at once. That was it seems more natural to them.
why don't you just give it a bottle, instead of your finger. It must be hungry.
Those baby's need their mommy with her breast milk. .
This guy is something else! how about not feed the baby when both other babies are freaking out for milk not allowing the one you’re feeding to eat in peace. Geez so inconsiderate, and those babies should of ate longer than 60 seconds each.
Pacifiers?
They seemed hungry all the time

They are too much to handle.
I have a racoon but it's a baby

And I'm stressing out over 1 😳
You gotta hell them go to the bathroom I hope you know this and did it cuz I haven't seen you do it it's usually after they eat
They cry ALOT
They are hungry, they need formula and honey.
I can't believe I gave the young Raccoon 2 a so called rescue lady, had I known at the time there were Raccoons in Central Park I would have kept her until she had grown a little more I don't know why it's against the law 2 own Raccoons in NY
poor one in cage
This is a different man, not James, right?
sure they're cute now but they get bigger and trash your house and then they leave
Daniel Wilson sounds like kids
Daniel Wilson hahaha. I like the last part about "then they leave" lol
They're like little furry bandits
Daniel Wilson just like us at the age of 19. Ahhh youth.
I'm sure the memories they made with them and the satisfaction of saving 3 tiny furry lives will outlast any house cleanup they had to do.
Supongo que los recogen porque son abandonados y luego los devuelven a sus hàbitats
oh yea got 2 orphans in my room right now.
How are they doing?
Raccoons can carry several dangerous diseases including rabies. While incidents of rabid raccoons attacking humans are rare, it's not something you want to risk. Raccoons carry two other diseases, roundworm and leptospirosis, that can also be transmitted to humans and pets.
Bri Rivera get them shots at vet i did
