I hope the developers are paying close attention to the mod scene. When considering that the Smiling Critters were the de facto mascot of Playtime Co for a time in-universe, it would be a shame to unceremoniously kill them off. At least some of them have to be out there still. And there is the possibility that Dogday survived. Please pay close attention, developers. You know what the fans want.
As much as we would like it to not be the case, DogDay is dead, when those baby critters crawled inside him, they did one of two things to get control of his body: 1: they ate him from the inside out and took control of the now hollowed out body, killing him on the spot 2: they crawled into his innards and took full control of his body against his will, however, he's still alive, but unable to do anything about it Either way, Dog day didn't make it, because even if the second option was true, i doubt the baby critters would just give up control of his body anytime soon

After you escape the Possessed Dogday chased, you'll hear a lot of screaming after the door closes, but what caused it is unknown [idk if anyone else ever noticed it] The ones that are actually confirmed to be dead minus Dogday and Catnap are Bubba, Kickin, and Krafty as Picky ate them. Though it's unclear who is considered "roast beef." Besides Picky, we don't know the fates of Hoppy and Bobby as well unless one of the two was the "roast beef" Picky ate. I ain't saying they're alive somewhere, this is just observations. So I think it's possible Picky and Hoppy or Bobby are alive. Dogday could've been lied too about the other's fate. Who knows what chapter 4 has in store for us. [Idk if anyone knows anything I don't. These are just thoughts and observations.]
Not really. The Voice wouldn't be the same because of their voice box like dogday and catnap. Also the cartoon version of the S.C. are not how they would sound because the cartoon was made sometime after they were turned into toys.

Playtime co caused his voice to be like that because of the excitement and the voice box they have. The cartoon was used to promote and sell the small copies of the bigger bodies S.C.

By this point I feel it would only be proper to get a dlc or an update to this game where everything that you modded into gets added in. I see so much potential for more organic scenes here. Dogday having animations like hugging crafty corn when they first meet after so long. In my opinion this was extremely large missed opportunity.
