This is sooo cool I learned my jump serve last year (freshman year) and improving it makes me sooo readyyy

I miss 1991-4 before work and life began. I was the WORST at spiking. I was everyone's favorite setter at 6'1. Everyone i played with at the time couldn't set for shit and I never learned how to hit effectively. Not enough practice at it with most setting me far from the net or worse. I thought I had an amazing jump serve though. And a pretty hard and accurate overhead standing serve. I wish I knew people around me who played. I would love to get back in. Taking time off this summer and am going to buy a volleyball and a local net and practice jump serves again. I want to try to enjoy life like I was capable of before the world got dark and difficult.

I mean it usually bounces. It’s hard to see, but in most of these clips it hits a defender who absorbs force before the ball actually touches the floor
