This expansive four-movement work is a tribute to the diverse beauty of the nation's treasured parks, allowing your students to explore contrasting moods and styles while honing their ensemble skills. Each movement vividly captures the unique essence of four national parks-Acadia, Olympic, Everglades, and Big Bend-through a range of musical expressions that mirror the distinct atmospheres and wildlife of these breathtaking locations.
This suite was commissioned by two music educators who spent over a year visiting these parks. Their journey, documented through thousands of photos and detailed journal entries, inspired the music. These experiences are brought to life in the 92-page full score, which includes stunning color photographs that complement the music and help to tell each park's story.
National Park Suite includes a comprehensive downloadable package for an immersive educational and performance experience. This includes unlimited printable parts, optional sound effects tracks, a video presentation that synchronizes with the music, and a wealth of additional photographs.
Each movement is also available for individual purchase and download in PDF format, offering added flexibility for abbreviated performances.
