I think I understand what the main chorus was trying to say. 運命 Unmei is changeable fate (with its counterpart 宿命 shukumei as unchangeable fate). Regardless, on the day you managed to change your fate, the gods will get angry momentarily, hence the thunder roaring. It is viewed as a mistake. Then, there is the use of the Japanese さsa assertive expression which is hard to translate. It basically means that: Well, mistakes are also fate, sa!

Well isn't this a pleasant surprise! YT put this on my feed and the username looked familiar. Given that I'm obsessed with Dungeon Meshi, of course I clicked on it. I'm so glad I did, this was so well done and fun. It perfectly captures the spirit of the original Unmei. But the actual surprise came from recognizing this was from the same content creator that made SMA so many years back, which I adored. Once more, wonderful job! I'll be checking out the other covers.
