Great video! Something I believe you missed was that, at the very least with Snivy, and maybe some of the other Unova starters, the animations change between Black and White and Black 2 and White 2. Again, not sure if it applies to every starter and evolution of said starters, but it definitely does with snivy. I don’t think it would’ve changed the outcome of the ranking much, but it is something to consider
For gen 1: those aren't "Japanese" and "Western" sprites. They are both Japanese. The first set belongs to Pokemon Red and Green while second set belongs to Pokemon Blue which was the base for the international release of Pokemon Red and Blue. Also, you completely ignored Yellow.
Ok, here’s a feedback I’m on 6min in the video and probably will not watch the rest, even if I love your analyzes The thing is, you keep saying “Japanese sprit this” “western sprite that” and show both at the same time. Man, I don’t know which is which. I have no ideia what I was suppose to be looking Maybe I will try giving this another chance later, but right now, my suggestion is to make more clear which version is which
The Japanese sprites were on the left, and there’s only a difference between the Japanese and western sprites in gen 1, so it’s not an issue for the rest of the video
How are you not popular, this video is so high quality
Thank you!
I was about to comment that as well
