Good points! I also had shaking issue because I used my palm to aim. After switching to fingertip grip the shakiness was not existent and my microadjusments are way better
One thing that worked really well for me to stop the bouncing when i peek is to try to be as soft as possible on my movement keys, try not to be smashing the key, press it enough to register the input but just enough to take off your finger right away. It obviously work better when im peeking expecting someone and not when im under pressure or surprised but i had very good results focusing on that simple thing. Combined with good crosshair placement you get some crispy shots ! I also play with very low sens btw, although i realised it might be slightly too low and i changed it up a bit, low sens feels good when you take mid to long range duels but its a disaster when you get close wide peeked close range by an smg lol
I think this guy thinks like me: "I just lower my sens so I get rid of the shakiness." Turns out when you learn not to shake your crosshair you can play on a higher sens and still hit accurately. I was always dreading to use higher sens but once I made the switch to 0.92 on 800 dpi and paid attention my aim got better in every way. Low sens masks some problems but fixing them is a must if you want to get better.
@@pienixcs I know it's not high but it's higher than I used to have and I was scared to raise it for way too long. Just saying learning out of bad habits gives you the ability to use higher sens. I feel too many are using very low sens because it feels stable while in reality they could learn to use bit higher without much downsides.

Another great video! Thanks, but I have an important question about peeking. Let's say I am pressing A to look my left, what should I do to stop for the shot? Should I release A and single tap D to stop and fire, or should I press A and D at the same time? Or something different i don't know. I really need help about this.
@@hakiraism If you want to counterstrafe, lets say your walking left with A. You spot someone and need to stop to shoot them, you would 1. Let go of A 2. Tap D once right after you let go of A 3. Shoot
I have a question about the one strafe one burst - aim reflex map drill. Should you track during the strafe? Or strafe without moving the mouse and track after you are standing still
Imagine a wall as you’re moving, the bots only “appear” in your vision when you’re about to counter strafe and stop around the corner of the imaginary wall. That is when you should start tracking the bot. You are essentially emulating real game scenarios by role playing and training ur mind out of bad habits.
hmm to me it looks like the guy presses his left click too much and in that way he losses a lot of control with his mouse. I do have the same habit but slowly getting rid of it as I became more self conscious about it. Sens might play a big role in this also.
I cant thank u enough pienix. U r doing a good job man. Thanks alot man.
My pleasure
Great Video as always! I swear there is no one on RUclips going this in depth on how to train actual mechanics and how to get better at them.
I appreciate that!

Releasing A and pressing D stops you faster, if you hold both you still move even if you press D
@@TiltedTurning so i need to press D not single tap D, right?

You track longer (bring your crosshair closer to the head) while strafing and then you stop and micro adjust to be accurate
