I know this is several years old now, but I just started really getting into the whole Kurt’s murder “mystery” (in earnest, that is - I knew some stuff about it before, but some personal synchronicities really got me interested in it again), and it’s amazing how much she hints at the truth behind all her lies in this and other interviews. First of all: she loves mentioning drugs casually, but always gets very defensive about being clean. I’m not judgmental about drug use to an extent, because I think it’s terrible how people get vilified for self-medicating - it’s the pharmaceutical companies, our broken healthcare systems, greedy illicit manufacturers and dealers, and absurd drug laws that create the majority of our drug problems - stop blaming the people who are just trying to avoid suffering! Anyhoo, like I said, I don’t care so much if she uses drugs, but she’s such a friggin hypocritical liar about it and it ties in with the history of her dynamic with Kurt, regarding their drug use and her manipulation of him. Now, I don’t know so much about how she was getting along with the surviving members of Nirvana, but when she was saying all was peaceful between her and them, she was playing with her hair, and that may have been “a tell”. Maybe not, but she does lie a lot. Courtney gets very defensive about her reputation and being portrayed as a villain. Here she is trying to take control of the issue by comparing negative criticism of her to people portraying her like a cartoon villain - not even the joker, but his daughter (?), which is like calling her critics childish. She downplays it with her anecdote about a date with someone whom she claims doesn’t understand why she has such a reputation. Her song lyrics, the things she brings up, her defensiveness, her insistence on “burying the hatchet” (a violent image, btw), all seems to point at a guilty conscience. She’s well aware of all the people who suspect her and all the damning evidence against her. I wonder if she can bully, bribe, con and coerce her way out of trouble for the rest of her days, or if it’s just a matter of time until she faces the music.

Maybe she is intelligent. But that doesnt really matter much, because the rest of her are downsides. Furthermore I have no doubt in my mind - that without Kurt - she and her band wouldnt have had nearly the success they had. Strangely enough her fame started AFTER Kurt was dead. What a coincidence.

I know this is several years old now, but I just started really getting into the whole Kurt’s murder “mystery” (in earnest, that is - I knew some stuff about it before, but some personal synchronicities really got me interested in it again), and it’s amazing how much she hints at the truth behind all her lies in this and other interviews.
First of all: she loves mentioning drugs casually, but always gets very defensive about being clean. I’m not judgmental about drug use to an extent, because I think it’s terrible how people get vilified for self-medicating - it’s the pharmaceutical companies, our broken healthcare systems, greedy illicit manufacturers and dealers, and absurd drug laws that create the majority of our drug problems - stop blaming the people who are just trying to avoid suffering! Anyhoo, like I said, I don’t care so much if she uses drugs, but she’s such a friggin hypocritical liar about it and it ties in with the history of her dynamic with Kurt, regarding their drug use and her manipulation of him.
Now, I don’t know so much about how she was getting along with the surviving members of Nirvana, but when she was saying all was peaceful between her and them, she was playing with her hair, and that may have been “a tell”. Maybe not, but she does lie a lot.
Courtney gets very defensive about her reputation and being portrayed as a villain. Here she is trying to take control of the issue by comparing negative criticism of her to people portraying her like a cartoon villain - not even the joker, but his daughter (?), which is like calling her critics childish. She downplays it with her anecdote about a date with someone whom she claims doesn’t understand why she has such a reputation.
Her song lyrics, the things she brings up, her defensiveness, her insistence on “burying the hatchet” (a violent image, btw), all seems to point at a guilty conscience. She’s well aware of all the people who suspect her and all the damning evidence against her. I wonder if she can bully, bribe, con and coerce her way out of trouble for the rest of her days, or if it’s just a matter of time until she faces the music.

Furthermore she has a LONG history of physically and verbally assaulting people. So the answer has to be NO - other celebrities have not done something like that and not that number of times.
Maybe she is intelligent. But that doesnt really matter much, because the rest of her are downsides. Furthermore I have no doubt in my mind - that without Kurt - she and her band wouldnt have had nearly the success they had. Strangely enough her fame started AFTER Kurt was dead. What a coincidence.
