Thank you so much, mate. Your guide was fantastic. I succeeded on my second attempt because I forgot some details, but fortunately, I had an old save where I could go back and correct my mistake.
Been using it ever since I found it, It honestly doesn't seem to make that much difference, they'll still get 3-4 shotted by the convicts. It does however kinda slow down the DOT they take from grabs. Giving them some random weapon with stagger (hopefully one they like) will likely save them more than the book.

During downtime, don't speed up the clock. Instead, find magazines that benefit Frank and Survivors. Like increased firearms power, 50 percent increase from eating and drinking, increase health for skateboards, and increased power for sport items. 4. The saw and Mega Man weapons will respawn when they have exhausted health. Pick up new ones in the same place and areas found.

Well Barnaby is dead. Think i may have screwed this up. I am on 41 survivors atm, got 4 survivors with me and now im about to fight the long haired psycho
@Reaperhhh you've got 8 more survivors to get, if Brad and Jessie are still alive that makes 10, which should put you at 51. Only 50 are required for Saint.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds ok well at the moment i have 9 located, 41 safe and 33 dead or lost. I also have 5 survivors with me now, heading back to the safe house. Dunno if i will get saint though lol. So shall i fail "The Last resort" then?
@umarpin8809 did you load any autosaves at all? I've mentioned and heard that autosaves are causing issues with the challenges being ticked off. I'd suggest always using manual saves. Hopefully you have one that you can load that doesn't backtrack you too much.
@mul-gt8882 I did all the story missions, I just didn't show them otherwise the video would have been even longer. I just stated that you need to progress the story and you can see by the missions on screen that they are progressing. You can stop at 'The Last Resort' for Ending B, or do them all for Ending A and get Frank and Isabella in Overtime like I did. People have had issues with this though so be careful. Ending B might be the safer bet.
I got a question, would it be a good idea to just cancel out the main story then save all the survivors? Because then once you get to the end Jessie and Brad should still be alive so it’d make up for not saving Isabela and then you wouldn’t need to play Overtime. Would this work or would it be required to do the story?
You'd have to at least get Barnaby I believe but it could be worth a shot. I personally wouldn't risk it. Then there is also Isabella who counts so not 100% on that.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds I tested it out and I think the best way to go is to go to case 6 then run out clock to cancel the story. At that point Brad and Jessie both survive and on top of that Isabela will also be there and she also counts as a survivor.
@AndreasJ-ol8no not necessarily as you don't have to fight Cletus but if you did then yes this method would work as it involves most Psychopath battles.
It can, obviously I don't show all the psychopaths and their locations but you would be able to identify all the survivors. I could add a mini guide for all Psychopaths if people needed it. :)
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds I'm only 7 min in guide rn and very good work thank you so much. As long as the all the survivors are found I think the psychos are pretty much alongside as well since most hold survivors hostage from my experience.
Yeah, pretty much. The only one that come to mind would be Cletus on day 1 - September 19th who doesn't have any survivors however he is needed for the full set.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds thank you so much man that was the two missing from full set and number 76 but I'm sure ill get him in this guide. also include fighting Cletus after getting David I think it works perfectly.
It should be showing to meet him at 12. Did you give him the outtake photo on day 2? Are you going for true ending or Ending B? Only reason I ask is because if you're at 48 and can only get Tad then you'll need Brad and Jessie to tip you over the 50 survivors mark.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds yeah im sure i gave him the outake photo but he aint here at roastmasters. I am going for ending B because i purposely failed "The Last Resort". Now im going back to the safe jouse with simone and havr to avery Kindells mutiny. I have probably screwed it up because Kent didnt show up
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds i have 49 survivors now. Brad and Jessie are alive. But i dont have Tad. Do i need him? Or shall i load a save way back because thats on day 2
@officerjimleahy you have to progress the story to at least The Last Resort to achieve Ending B. Or you follow the same route I went with in the video and achieve Ending A + Overtime. You'll have plenty of time to do this as you can see from the video my cases continue.
I've personally never tried to ignore any cases and wanted to be sure I could get 'All Survivors' available. I know Simone won't follow you if you don't have Isabella at the security room. Kindell may or may not appear if you don't activate the quest line to meet Isabella at the North Plaza. It's easier to complete all quests and grab the survivors along the way. Hope this helps.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds Man, does it really require all survivors alive? I completed the game in overtime, but missed 1 survivor (Bill). That would explain why I didn't get the achievement, as technically, at least 50 survivors made it :(
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds I went for ending A, and finished the overtime part of the game. I'll go back to a previous save I think, and try to go for ending B and the achievement. Thanks for the reply!
@AndreasJ-ol8no yep, that's what I did. You can stop at 'The Last Resort' and get ending B, however I wanted to show others it's possible to get the best ending and all survivors.
@AndreasJ-ol8no I didn't I did overtime in the video but I state in the video where you can stop. At this point you can let the timer run out for the case and then just get the last few survivors and be on the helipad for 12.
Good guide so far but it's confusing what main mission you are on. You dont always say which main missions to do so we are on the same page. I know u gotta fast forward time and stuff, but still its a tad bit confusing at times. Maybe im just a noob lol
@Reaperhhh you keep doing cases up until 7-2 'The Last Resort' or go for the true ending and get overtime mode. I did state in the video just keep doing missions. I barely used the fast forward feature otherwise you'd miss survivors, I just didn't show the main cases otherwise the video would be far far far too long haha 😆
@@Reaperhhh Yeah, it's easily the hardest one compared to the original trophy list. Although they made 5 and 7 day survivor laughably easy in this one. I never really had a problem with the AI in this game, they were very similar to DR2.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds yeah. The AI would get stuck on things. I did find the magazine where escorted people take less damage. Also not a fan of the convicts. I killed them all before 7pm. They all just spawned back a while later. Capcom need to fix that because its dumb
@Reaperhhh once you get the purple book from the cultists it makes it easier to transport them. Day 2. What platform are you on as I've heard different things in regards to the Xbox versions being less stable. Always kill the convicts after the 7pm cutscene as it means they'll just respawn over and over. As you said though it desperately needs to be fixed.
This is a common glitch that has occurred to various people judging from moderating the Reddit posts. Nobody knows what causes it. However, people have reported that redoing the final boss fight has worked. Not loading or using autosaves and using only manual saves throughout your playthrough also worked. Attempting not to die at all during your playthrough (a big ask but possible as this is how I did it). Hopefully one of these might help you. If not I'm sure Capcom are aware of it judging by the amount of people saying the same. I hope it unlocks for you.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds yeah i will go into overtime mode. How do i get zombie brad? Is it during the bomb mission? and that gotta go down to where i found the maintenence key?
@@Leesidejim did you go at the right time 1pm Day 2 - September 20th? Could also be you had other missions open as there is an 8 survivor limit for the whole map.
@funny3272 you may have had the limit of survivors available at the time. You need to make sure that above the law is the only case available outside of the main mission.
@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds It started happening after the first playthrough. The first time playing, I had: the coward, four ladies, and even the three people you save after the boss fight. Hopefully, it's not a glitch after passing the game the first time.
And then also the two people you save hanging on the huge toy. As mentioned, they don't show up even just having the coward and leaving behind the four ladies. So I think it's a glitch.
Once you finished Overtime it should have popped. Did you load any autosaves? I've heard a few issues where that is causing a bug and the achievement/trophy not to pop as intended.
So you can allow 1 or 2 to die/not save however you would need to go for Ending B like I mentioned in the video where you let the 'The Last Resort' case run out as this saves Brad and Jessie
Dude. I tried to run this without doing the story missions. I make it all the way to Simone, only to realize she won’t go with you if you don’t have Isabella….
@BlackSmoothie91 I did this on Xbox when the title came out in 2006. I was fuming!! Although if you found Barnaby, Jessie and Brad you should still be good depends on story progress though and as you said you didn't do any. You'll get it on the next one!! We believe in BlackSmoothie91!!! 🧟♂️
You have to get a specific ending to grab the achievement, you cant get the true ending. When you grab every survivor, skip the time until the helicopter arrives. But make sure you save the game before you commit
@crazycat5025 you can get either Ending A or B both work. However for Ending A (True Ending) you need to finish overtime mode whereas Ending B you can let the 'The Last Resort' quest time out and finish. Both are possible. I literally did true Ending in the video.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds well that explains a lot, I tried the true ending and didn’t obtain the achievement but then reloaded a save file and just skipped the last couple of quests then grab the trophy, but I must’ve missed that. Great guide nonetheless
@crazycat5025 thanks, it's been a bit glitchy for some people, others on the reddit page have mentioned this. We think it's down to loading autosaves and not manual saves. But who knows.
Oh, it really is. Unlocking Saint is literally the first thing people are doing now so they can get infinite ammo and durability. Crazy how much that breaks the game for something that actually isn't that difficult to do.
I've had people tell me about the food court crash on day 3 and 4. The convicts is a tricky one as I've managed to get them to not spawn in after killing them after the 7pm cutscene. Killed them before the cutscene and they just returned. Weird.

I saved Pamela but didn't go for Heather. Can I save her still?
@nikoivanovic90 if she is still in the area then yes, but she may have died off screen if you entered the area and left. Check your survivor list.
@ thank you for the answer. The notification didn't appear that she died. So there's still a chance.
@nikoivanovic90 check the survivor list too, it'll say either missing, dead or blanked out which means she has yet to be discovered.
Can i do this on a lvl 50 new game plus or does it have to be from lvl 1?
You can use your previous save or start from fresh like I did. Whatever suits you 😀
Tyvm!
@@NFTwizardz you're welcome, I'm glad the guide was useful 😊
I did it but it's not checked off and I got the trophy any reason you know y?
@umarpin8809 did you load any autosaves at all? I've mentioned and heard that autosaves are causing issues with the challenges being ticked off. I'd suggest always using manual saves. Hopefully you have one that you can load that doesn't backtrack you too much.

Did you not do the story missions do you have to ?
@mul-gt8882 I did all the story missions, I just didn't show them otherwise the video would have been even longer. I just stated that you need to progress the story and you can see by the missions on screen that they are progressing. You can stop at 'The Last Resort' for Ending B, or do them all for Ending A and get Frank and Isabella in Overtime like I did. People have had issues with this though so be careful. Ending B might be the safer bet.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds thank you for the reply I'll will take note and watch what you done thanks very much I appreciate this
You're welcome! :)
@@thatoneguyyouveprobablysee9370 is that 'The Last Resort' case? That's where I would naturally stop for Ending B 😀
Do you get the Punisher trophy when doing this?
@AndreasJ-ol8no not necessarily as you don't have to fight Cletus but if you did then yes this method would work as it involves most Psychopath battles.
Anyone have that glitch where the saint book won’t be rewarded I got the achievement but can’t get the book to unlock
That's odd, I never heard this happen to anyone yet. Hopefully not a new bug being discovered. Is it all ticked off in your trials on the pause menu?
Hi, mate. Great guide. Leah isn’t spawning for me.
That's 'A Mother's Lament'? If so make sure you are not in Al Fresca Plaza until after you get the call.
does this guide help with the full set trophy like without photographing everyone?
#76 is Tad, he is survivor 47 and can be found by completing all of Kent's missions.
Great video, thanks a lot
Glad you liked it! Appreciate the support and that the video helped :)
Ok i up to 48 survivors with Tad and Simone left. Is the Kent thing a quest because its not on my game to meet him at the roast place at 12pm???
It should be showing to meet him at 12. Did you give him the outtake photo on day 2?
Are you going for true ending or Ending B? Only reason I ask is because if you're at 48 and can only get Tad then you'll need Brad and Jessie to tip you over the 50 survivors mark.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds yeah im sure i gave him the outake photo but he aint here at roastmasters. I am going for ending B because i purposely failed "The Last Resort". Now im going back to the safe jouse with simone and havr to avery Kindells mutiny. I have probably screwed it up because Kent didnt show up
@@Reaperhhh As long as Brad and Jessie are also alive you should be good!
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds i have 49 survivors now. Brad and Jessie are alive. But i dont have Tad. Do i need him? Or shall i load a save way back because thats on day 2
@Reaperhhh make a manual save now. Go for Ending B by speeding up time till the end. If Saint pops no problem if not load up an older save.
31:35 Your battery's low btw. Just a heads up.
Yeah, I forgot I wasn't wired in haha 😅
Do you have to progress the story to any certain point to save anyone or can you ignore the story and just do a survivor run?
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds wow, what a fast response. Haven’t even finished the video yet 😅
Thank you for your time, effort and support.
More than welcome. It's nice to help others where I can. Appreciate your support watching the video.
If I miss one survivor do I still get the saints achievement?
@josh_0rd849 if you miss one, go for Ending B as mentioned in the video, it's the safer options as Overtime Mode requires all survivors to be saved.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds Man, does it really require all survivors alive? I completed the game in overtime, but missed 1 survivor (Bill). That would explain why I didn't get the achievement, as technically, at least 50 survivors made it :(
@@HXXPE which ending did you go for, if you miss one you'd have to go for Ending B.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds I went for ending A, and finished the overtime part of the game. I'll go back to a previous save I think, and try to go for ending B and the achievement. Thanks for the reply!
@@HXXPE I'd go for Ending B, would be your safer bet, good luck!
So do you do main quest at the same time
@AndreasJ-ol8no yep, that's what I did. You can stop at 'The Last Resort' and get ending B, however I wanted to show others it's possible to get the best ending and all survivors.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds Ok so you stop at Last resort, you dont complete it?
@AndreasJ-ol8no I didn't I did overtime in the video but I state in the video where you can stop. At this point you can let the timer run out for the case and then just get the last few survivors and be on the helipad for 12.
@@AndreasJ-ol8no you don't need to complete it no.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds Ok thank you. Great guides =)
But if I let last resort run out how do I save isabela if she’s the last survivor
@creamenoodle3609 you won't need to as Brad, Jessie, Otis, Frank all survive so count as the extra survivors if you do that ending 😀
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds awwwwwww my bad🤣 thank you for this guide I’ve just got the saint achievement 🫶
@@creamenoodle3609 more than welcome 🙏
Good guide so far but it's confusing what main mission you are on. You dont always say which main missions to do so we are on the same page. I know u gotta fast forward time and stuff, but still its a tad bit confusing at times. Maybe im just a noob lol
@Reaperhhh you keep doing cases up until 7-2 'The Last Resort' or go for the true ending and get overtime mode. I did state in the video just keep doing missions. I barely used the fast forward feature otherwise you'd miss survivors, I just didn't show the main cases otherwise the video would be far far far too long haha 😆
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds ok cool then. This is an annoying trophy because of the time and the sometimes dumb AI escorts
I got ending A with 48 survivors safe. Finished overtime mode thinking Frank and Isabela counted as the final 2 but didn’t get the achievement
Well i got the saint trophy but theres no purple book next to the blender in the security room
It's not a purple book and it's not next to the blender, it's opposite it where the Megabuster is and has the Dead Rising 1 cover on it.
On the floor, as you leave the security room where Jessie is, turn left instead of right and it should be on the floor.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds yep i found it lol. Now im gonna grind kills in the maintenence area with the car then maybe try the 8 escorts thing
@Reaperhhh Nice! Congrats BTW! Quicker to get the kills in the Overtime mode. I made a video for that too.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds yeah i will go into overtime mode. How do i get zombie brad? Is it during the bomb mission? and that gotta go down to where i found the maintenence key?
Nick and sally never showed up for me
@@Leesidejim did you go at the right time 1pm Day 2 - September 20th? Could also be you had other missions open as there is an 8 survivor limit for the whole map.
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerdsI just had the same problem even with it being 1 pm 2nd day.
Man I did it twice and it didn’t pop. It says I have 49 survivors saved.
Once you finished Overtime it should have popped. Did you load any autosaves? I've heard a few issues where that is causing a bug and the achievement/trophy not to pop as intended.
Yo do I have to save everyone or
So you can allow 1 or 2 to die/not save however you would need to go for Ending B like I mentioned in the video where you let the 'The Last Resort' case run out as this saves Brad and Jessie
@@OfficialDawnOfTheNerds ight thank you gang awesome video

Nope, no need to meet him. He was only ever a survivor in the Wii version Chop Till You Drop. :)
I got the true ending and saint in this video, might want to check where you got your information from.
Talk about a pain in my ass. 7 day survivor is much easier for me
