I practice these 15-20 yrd pitches every practice. I use my feet close together though and it seems to work. I'll give your method a shot to compare the feel. Love your videos!
Not totally a flop shot but I consider this a version or alternate of the flop shot. Open face chip or pitch is what it is also called. However many do call this a flop although yes it really isn't your common flop shot.
I've used a number of your tips and they've helped tremendously. Appreciate your vids! Do you think the average golfer should use an SM7 with 8* bounce or a more game-improvement style wedge with more bounce/sole, like a CBX4 with12* of bounce? Vokey's are blade style wedges are they not?
Do you know a good place to find the letters the grinder degrees like the M how much is taken off blast off to your site and find it or do I have to go somewhere else and give them all the money lol
This reminds me of a sand shot. One thing I don't seem to see much about is that the more you open a club you need to lower the grip to help with direction. I also worry about a shank when I lay a club very open like that. I will work on this shot next time out.
The flop shot IS NOT A "MUST HAVE" I completely disagree with that statement in the description. Plenty of people can play golf by keeping the ball low, and they know how to hit it high when they need to. And you didn't even execute the flop shot. It's more like you hit the ball really shallow and decelerated through it. You must lay that club face almost wide open and open your stance to the target so you don't hit it off the damn hozzle. I love your videos man lol sorry for my input on this just felt like I had to say this as a fellow golfer.
This seems more of a high chip than a flop. The balls are running out . Usually a flop launches high then. Stops on the green not roll out. Love the vids though....
There's no swinging fast in your shots pal. Sorry your a pga pro are you? Unlikely. You're decelerating on the downswing too mate. Na, I'm out. Never seen a touring pro hit it like you.

it's a bunker shot off the ground. love it
What about your alignment when you open the face ?
I like that shirt.
Probably better for consistency. Good old videos. Good for next year to practice band share with others. Simple is better
Great video thank you for this!!
Ride the horse, all shoulders. These tips have me using my lob wedge again, with confidence! Put a couple of shots within 5 feet last night! 🤙⛳
Use to use this shot a lot around greens. Kind of forgot about it. Practiced it today. Worked great!

Gonna grind on da wedges
That isn't a flop shot. You are pitching with an open face. There is a difference.
Not a flop shot ...more like a chip or a bunker shot.
That is not a flop shot!
I have trouble with these shots!!!👎🤣🤣🤣🤣
Flop shot? Do you mean lob shot?
