Awesome drive! That just looks like a ton of fun and that Boss motor is just the business! That 8,000 rpm sound is phenomenal.

Great. Owned a 69 and 70 Boss 302. Street cars but a great ride. Loved the TransAm series. Thanks for beating that Vette.

Nice video....it's unfortunate the bad driver in the '68 Corvette wouldn't just pull over to let you through rather than intentionly block you. Good job, Curt

Up to a point, it’s just racing. But when you’re on a road course like this and the guy behind you is 2 inches from your bumper in every turn, he’s faster than you. Yes, he should have just let Curt pass.

@@jerrytaylor4078, I am a Ford fan but both cars were equal in speed and if you are the Vette driver you don't pull over just because somebody caught you in a braking zone. I agree it is racing not HPDE

@@RSDX99 No, the Corvette simply gave some distance on straights...and blocked the rest of the time.

Difference between racing and track days. You might be faster but the guy in front is going to make you work hard and not just move aside. That would be easy?

I must be weird - I *really* like the sound of this one. Much prefer it to the larger ones, in fact.

Must have been the slowvette driver that gave the video the only thumbs down.

How much horsepower do we think that BOS 302 is making?? Does this class run as if to same specs as 1970 TA spec or are these highly modified above that? I'm assuming this is a step above the 1970 specs.

Earing that Vet in the Esses and 10A, but just little too much power to over come. the straights. I'd take the 350 any day. Nice drive.

loved the overtake at 5:40 . is there any explanation for such long throw on the shifter? cheers.

@BR-P-2001 // yeah i get that. but why would you want a long throw? isnt short throw way more efficient for track driving?

I was a Chevy driver starting in the early 60's. I made the mistake of buying a C3 used 1968 corvette. The 1968 was a big pile of junk especially its vacuum operated headlights and windshield wiper valance. After these cars had a few years on them the rubber vacuum lines would harden and crack causing leaks that effected the headlights from opening and windshield wipers too. In 1986 I saw the new Ford Tunderbird and had to buy one. Best car I ever owned so I have stayed with Ford ever since and my children all drive Fords.

I watch a lot of this type of video, it amazes me how many guys don't know how to hold a line. Mustang is clearly better in the corners compared to the corvette but he insists on running road block
