The last A series with snapdragon was actually the A73 but then it has the same processor as A52s which was released a year prior so it still makes the A52s the GOAT of the A series. And I can also say the A55 is finally a worthy successor to the A52s.
i really dont understand why these reviewers keep bringing up these bezels as an issue, it's not. I would rather have those bezels than a phone that has a plastic frame/back
I have the A52s but unfortunately I damaged my screen, now I'm in doubt between fixing the screen (which I find a little bit scary) or buying the new A55 (which I can get for €384 together with a subscription). I don't know if I should do it since the A52s was plastic so basically indistructable. Also the max resolution of 64MP is really great in my opinion since I use it pretty often for the best photo quality, the A55 only goes to 50MP
Watching on my A52s5G. I still love or but I outgrew the 128GB and I use 2 sim-cards so cant use expandable storage. I wanted to get A55, I wasn't sure between A55 and S23FE and somehow ended up with a 256GB S22 because it was used like new but costed 100 less than the A55 so...yeah, Im just gonna have to manage the battery

There's no need for Snapdragon if Exynos chips keep improving, though, and becjmarks show Exynos 1480 is pretty much on par with Snapdragon and Mediatek counterparts. You'd only get the same device, but more expensive since Samsung likely won't reduce its profit margin. I agree with the bezels, even though you forget them after a couple of hours using the phone.
How did you place the flashlight on the left of the note 13 instead of the controls menu? Also the navigation bar on the lock screen at 1:09 ? (unless it's part of the wallpaper)

Agree, but better to get a used Samsung flagship. And has no VC1 hardware decoding on chip. That just became a big deal, because phones with it will offer 30% energy savings and heat less watching RUclips, which just made it the default.
Exynos 1480 is only good in benchmarks and performs lower and less efficient than Mediatek Dimensity 7200 and performs similar to Snapdragon 7sGen2 so its almost no upgrade than Snapdragon 778G. But camera wise, design wise A55 is upgrade over A52s
Dude if the SD 7 gen 2 is an upgrade from the SD 778G, then how come the 1480 with similar performance as SD 7 gen 2, not an upgrade of SD 778G? You're not making any sense. SD 778G only scores 400k+ in antutu. 1480 scores 700k+.
@@Sejuani89 dont lie bro. SD 778G scores 600k while SD 7sGen2 scores 595K and Exynos 1480 scores 720k but you cant game with that phone as it heats too much(42-50C°), almost you can cook an egg with it. Not anymore. When I first got my A54 I wasn't impressed by the performance or battery life, but it doesn't lag anymore and the battery life is also better now. The A55 is better than the A54 so it's definitely a solid choice.

That means those 3 phones are currently the top 3 A series phone
1. A73
2. A55
3. A52s
The A05s was the last A series phone with a Snapdragon processor, though it is only the 680.
This is why I am holding onto my A52s

Exactly my case 😢 I still love the A52s though
i really dont understand why these reviewers keep bringing up these bezels as an issue, it's not. I would rather have those bezels than a phone that has a plastic frame/back
Yeah especially if you're using it without a case. If the phone doesn't have bezels you're going to get accidental screen presses all the time.

I hope Snapdragon chips will come back to A series one day. The bezels could be reduced.
