I have lived in KY all my 62 years. Visited many states, countries, provences, and continents, but there is no place quite like it. Glad you stopped in.
Did you visit Las Vegas?
We are considering a move to Kentucky in the spring next year!
We are enjoying your videos! We appreciated that you don’t use foul language! This is our favorite way to travel. We don’t even have to leave home. Thank you for taking us along..
Hi russ great tour love the old towns so many beautiful old buildings . Thanks alot cheers mate🇦🇺
All the years trucking with my husband and listening to his voice as he drove along. I can listen to you all day, love your descriptive, calm, visits all around America. Thank you.
Thanks a lot dear Russ, I can’t get bored but I just love watching every second of your videos cause, I feel myself as if I was there.
Thanks Russell! My son's in KY and we're in AZ We try to visit once in awhile. Replica of Noah's ark is there in KY too. Heard its worth a stop.
My daughter & family lived in Brandenburg for many years. Kentucky is a beautiful state, & I've enjoyed going on travels with you, Russ. Thanks! 😊
What a great state Kentucky is. Glad you decided to drive through it. Thanks Russ.
HEY,HEY, RVerTV, taking us on the Kentucky Scenic Byway .Yay, Thanks, Russ. 👍
Thank you Russ , I enjoyed the scenic views too. There is Lincoln.
Yay, great afternoon thanks.
We've travelled many of the highways and byways you do and it is so much fun to relive our travels with you! Thanks so much.
This was fantastic Russ!Loved every minute of it🌟
Greetings from Frankfort. Hope you enjoyed our beautiful town.
I visited Kentucky several times and found the people to be down to earth generally nice people
I remember when I was young coming thru Kentucky, I saw a sign on I 75 for President Lincoln's birthplace and covinced my mother to go see the birthplace.
convinced
love everything you showed us. so interesting and beautiful state
Lucky in Kentucky 🎉
A most informative and enjoyable trip. Thank you.
I've been to the Corvette museum but never made to Horse Cave. As a big fan of cave and cavern tourist attractions, I definitely need to add it to my bucket list. Thanks for the virtual visit!
Thank you for going to all the great places you go and then taking time to film and edit to bring us amazing adventures!
Those big black buildings were Bourbon warehouses full of Bourbon Barrels!
I really enjoy all about Lincoln.
Beautiful place , Mr. Russell. Love the cave under the city. Stay safe.👀🚐🍀👽.
Look how clean everything is
Home of jack Daniels too
@@garyevans2761 Jack Daniels is a TN whiskey. KY has Bourbon.
Lived here 20 yrs.. finally got ti see it.❤ I live in Campbell's KY nit that far away❤
Hey Russ I'm ready for the ride thanks for this video and safe travels
WooHoo ...Let's Ride!
Simply beautiful
I live in Bardstown or as you called it Bardsville. :0) The hotel you pointed out was called the Talbot Inn. Oldest Tavern in Kentucky. Next time you come through here you need to eat at Mammys Kitchen down on the square. The history here is unbelievable. So many cool places and not to mention all of the distilleries and tours that you can take. We will treat you to Mammys if you ever decide to come back for a few days
thank you
My mother graduated from Western Kentucky University in Bowling Green
Hey Russ they still do it they call it coin roll hunting and they got a bunch of RUclips channels ❤
another excellent video . . .
Hey Russ this is my favorite video so far !! 👏🏻thanks for showing us beautiful Kentucky ( and the corvettes !) ❤❤❤
Wife and I love your stuff but the long ones kill us we have to try to finish them in multiple times
Te sigo por mucho tiempo y no sabía que hablas español eso me encanta vivo en California ahoram me encanta ❤️
Yes Kentucky is very cool lol
BG my town
❤
Thanks Russ! I was born and raised 30 miles east of Mt Sterling in Morehead, KY. Great to see this part of the State!
I wish I could have seen you while you were here in Kentucky. I live close to Mt. Sterling. I have never took the time to stroll through downtown. Your video really brought to my attention how much we take for granted living here. I have much more appreciation for my home Kentucky.
Thank you, Russ, for visiting Kentucky! I've watched you for several years, but never expected you to visit my state! I live in Liberty, Kentucky, approximately 60 miles south of Frankfort!
I had to laugh, you’re walking down the street and saw the horse mural on the building. And I was yelling at the TV that secretariat the greatest race horse of all time. I wish you would’ve walked over and read the plaque on the building. I love your videos though.
haha. yes i know that now. that was quite a memorial they where building
Great tour of the state. We get there every year to visit friends and it's always so beautiful
I really enjoy watching your RUclips Channel, Russ, especially the Once In A Lifetime Series videos. I wish you safe travels. Talk soon, Alan.
GE😢READY SET...Go 😊
I'm not sure if you made another video on Kentucky, but you missed the far western end of the state. Paducah has an enormous amount of history to be discovered, along with great architecture in their buildings.
Hey Russ, it's always fun to ride along and see the sights with you. I'm of two minds about heading out super early though. On the one hand you beat the crowds and traffic and it's nice to walk around before it gets hot. But on the other hand, nothing is open! I love poking around in small town antique shops, specialty stores and local museums but they don't usually open until mid-morning or later. Oh well, you can only fit it so much into an episode, anyway, eh? Until next time, happy trails!
Yay!!!! Thank you for sharing this. I am going there next month for the Solar Eclipse and I was going to be there for a few days. I was going through ur videos Saturday looking for this. Ur psychic!!! Thanks for all you do ❤❤
I visited the Corvette Museum 6 years ago before the floor was repaired.
It was a LOT more exciting to visit then, with the sinkhole covered in plexiglass so you could see the wrecked Vettes still @ the bottom of the pit. 😱
Across the way from the Corvette Museum is the Corvette factory. The only place the Corvette is manufactured is right there in Bowling Green. KY is where President Lincoln and President Jefferson Davis of the Confederacy were born. A lot of history about our divided state. Bowling Green is home of Western Kentucky University. I enjoyed your video!
Home of The Hot Rods too
The wax figures of Abraham Lincoln were really interesting! - Michelle
Hi Russ great video! You covered a lot of territory! Abe Lincoln Museum was really interesting. Thanks for sharing 😊
Hi Russ nice trip as usual.
We would love to see more of the RV parks you stay at.
☠️🦋☠️Ya'll are totally adorable, whether human or bloodsuckers. 🧛♀️🦇
Did you know? The tallest 3 story building in the world is in Paris, Ky😁
Watching from Campbellsville ky❤😂😂
Hey there. Our son and his family lives south of there in Nashville! We just visited them and our first grandchild, our grandson.
Waving back❤
Russ, I love your videos, but would love to see some videos with people going about their business moving around, I think I will get a better feel of the place. I'm a city girl 😮
Thanks Beverly I will try to catch some folks
Thanks!
You really need to be in Church on Sundays then go exploring I do like where you go .
Should try the Breaks interstate park in VA and maybe Elkhorn city kentuck. Very beautiful and rural.
Next time you come to frankfort stop in the history center on a Wednesday, its definitely worth it and you can view the inside of the old state capital
Aw nuts. You missed out on Harrodsburg and Danville.
Those 3301 flags were in memory of the KY people lost to COVID. That was impressive.
Hey Russ, what are you planning for this years Total Solar Eclipse? We won’t get another one like this one again until the year..... 2044!!!
Did ya run into Daniel Boone or Mingo.?
You got to visit Hazard Kentucky
quick question Russ: do you narrate in video or voiceover in editing?
thanks for another cool road trip 🤙
Sir why did you not film Harrison Arkansas when you came through going to Eureka Ar
Rainy weather effected several days travel thru several states. hopefully next trip
Mohamed Ali is from kentucky
He’s from Louisville. The museum is by the Louisville slugger museum.
Here in Dayton Ohio we are going to be right dead center of the total solar eclipse that would make a good video
What kind of camera are you using. Seems like where there.
If he says high nack you better run
You should have passed on Horse Cave and went to Mammoth Cave.
The locals think they ate NASCAR on the country roads.
👍
Campbellsville ky..
Home of the best campground I’ve ever been to. Green River State Park
Tobaco
A lot of tobacco is grown there
I’m sure it’s wonderful but I don’t have 2 1/2 hours to watch a video.
LONG LIVE DIXIE
Of you noticed how hard Americans worked to build this country and it's towns to have one man to try and destroy it is ridiculous eastern Kentucky is on the mountain where it borders west virginia
The ohio river runs next to fowntown Louisville and when it overglows what a mess
I remember traveling to KY from my former state of MI as a girl at age 8. I visited all the Lincoln sites plus Bardstown inclusive of My Old Kentucky Home and later as a late middle aged adult watching the musical there. Being an upcoming young pianist, I was encouraged by the curator to play the very same piano Stephen Foster composed his beloved song. Back then, we were also allowed to take pictures as my mother had old colored slides of the parlor from there. However, haven't pulled them out in decades. Another earlier time and around early 2000s, my mother and I revisited all these historical sites and things naturally were not the same as multiple changes had been made. When viewing your recent 2023 tour scenes of these mentioned places, I barely recognized them because modern times have distorted the original property surroundings. Sadly, it's not the same and I can never bring myself to return back to them because I prefer to keep my former memories when first visiting them. My mother snapped a photo of my brother and I standing in front of the Clock near the Frankfurt Capital circa 1960. The wife of my cousin is from Hodgenville whom he met in the Army while stationed in Germany. My mother and I did countless family genealogical research at the old statehouse turned museum in Frankfurt plus at a courthouse in Shepardsville in Bullit County, KY. At some point and time, maternal family predecessors had legally owned a partial of property land where Fort Knox (gold depository) now sits on and occupies. I know my comments will date me because I'm now a retired senior citizen 🧓 who still enjoys traveling all over our beloved America. I've been in 42 of the 50 and desire to see much more. 🚙
Spelling correction: Shepherdsville, KY, not Shepardsville. 😏
It's pretty but at the end of the day it's still Kentucky...the laughing stock of the United states😂!
🕊Traveling with RVerTV 🏜 🚐
