How much does a sucker cost and how much do you charge for one hectare cultivation
Brother Chidav, your choice of 2 x 2m planting pattern is fantastic, because you will have a very good leaf canopy after about 7 months, thereby suppressing weeds.
Please use the PIF technique of plantain multiplication to obtain many healthy plantlets from just one sucker within 4 months. You could team up with a Cameroonian and also master this technique so that you can use just a few suckers to produce many suckers. In Cameroon, a plantain nursery can use 1000 suckers to pruduce 100,000 plantlets within 4 months.For example: /watch?v=D-CZScYjMo0
Please discourage our people from using dangerous chemicals in farming. There are organic nematicides, for example. Systemic Herbicides are dangerous and are not very necessary in plantain cultivation. Use leguminous cover crops instead,

I have just planted at least a hundred trees recently. I missed three steps, and those are 1. treatment of the soil, applying herbicides, and disinfecting the suckers. What are the chemicals being used, please?
1 - Treatment of the soil? You just need manure. You could use woodash as a very effective nematicide and potassium source.
2 - Poisonous herbicides are a no-go. What you apply as poison is what you will eat. The result could be cancer, .as.o.. Instead plant using a 2x2m pattern and intercrop with a leguminous cover crop like cow peas.
3 - It is prefarable to plant using "PIF"-Plantlets, which are very healthy and best to plant. Here is a an example of the PIF-Technique: /watch?v=D-CZScYjMo0

What are some of the chemicals needed for controlling weeds in your plantain farm,and what is the correct season for planting plantain.
