I have never heard of them not all going on strike since its dictated by their union. Right now the strike as been called for May 1 so you should be okay.

You can buy them online, ktelbus.gr/arg/ticketweb/. You will have to pick up the ticket at the bus station, but you can do that right when you go to take the bus.

Hi, I'm visiting from Cape Town from 20th May and my Ferryhopper payments are being declined. No problem with my card as all other bookings for accomodation and car hire are fine. Getting no response from Ferryhopper online! Any advice appreciated.
Hello! Sorry I missed the live version but the replay was awesome. I don't really have any questions about traveling there, although we will be coming next year for sure. I am worried about Athens. It It seems to be changing so fast. We visited in 2019, and I know that already there will be differences from then. I know a lot of the change is caused by tourism. It almost makes me feel like not coming but at the same time I loved it there so much and I want to see a lot more of Greece. I want to visit the Peloponnese Peninsula. I guess my only question is whether or not you have seen The Athens Urbanist series on the Urbanist; Exploring Cities channel on RUclips and if so, what did you think of it?
It isn't changing that fast but it is changing. I don't think it is all due to toursim. The country suffered for so long and it is getting better so they are making changes. I haven't seen it.
It depends on where you are going. Lots of activities on the Friday and Saturday nights before Easter. Sunday most Greeks will spend at home with family and friends. The Monday after, lots of things will be closed.
I'm from Chicagoland for over 50 years. Going to Greece for 25 days on May 6, 2024. Highly considering moving there on Peloponese about an hour north of Kalamata, on the Mediterranean. I've got land there with my sister. I just started a RUclips station a few months ago. I'm Greek American. Speak Greek very well. Can kind of read it and write it. How much should I consider the politics over there? I consider myself very spiritual and conservative (not religious) My RUclips channel is going to be about One's Know Thyself Journey.
