its funny you point out luffy actually remembering the moment franky burned the blueprints, because tbh i think luffy's actually maturing quite a bit through the new world. He fell asleep during otohime's story on fishman island but actually stayed awake and alert and listened to kinemon talk about oden in wano. i feel like we'll see him get more and more involved as the story wraps up
Its been long time since i reread wci, but in anime luffy remember all his crew favorites food. So maybe he dont have bad memory, he just care what he care.
Luffy listens when he needs to. When he doesn’t listen it usually means “i don’t give a fuck i want to help you because of you and not because of your sad story”
@@ArrakisHeir88 i wonder if it’s a translational thing, “baka” (commonly idiot) is a common reactionary phrase but “moron” as a descriptive phrase feels different
Mihawk is absolutely only hanging out with Buggy because he is tired of fending off marines and just wants to drink his wine somewhere in peace. Buggy reframed the whole thing as a boss-employee type deal purely because it's amazing marketing to have mihawk be your subordinate.
Did you forgot that actually Buggy it's the only person that can counter & actually did it during the Marine Fort arc? Thus It's only natural that Mihank will really consider buggy his biggest challenge, & thus better to serve under him. Note: basically, Buggy it's the biggest challenge for any swordmen, & i will assume he has a great hacky at this point.
@@fakename7847 Let’s be real, Buggy may has no talent in fighting but he absolutely has the prowess in managing and convincing. He’s reasonable and realistic. He only cares about money and fame, exactly what a pirate should be. He didn’t want the devil fruit cause it was a hinderance, he truly wanted the treasures.
Oda heard everyone saying "but what about Bounty Hunters" after he turned his main character into a god and went "alright, fuck you everyone's a Bounty Hunter"
You know a character’s design is good when they’ve undergone 0 design changes between the pre and post timeskip era’s. Lookin at you, Crocodile and Mihawk
@@chicken29843 I think Smoker got a poor design change too. His face scar looks weird and the new haircut doesn’t really fit him. He looks more like any other marine to me.
@@chicken29843 agreed, i've always hated the majority of the changes. Chopper with his stupid special Ed helmet and the girls being just extra whores all the time now is a giant downgrade, i also hate robo-Frankie and think he was so much cooler before, i hated Buggy's the most though with his stupid giant sheet nonsense.
NO WAY, now my source for everything One Piece is now also the source for 1 million other fictional pirate enjoyers! Let's Goooo! Major congrats Liam, the way you make videos is very much your own unique style which you have been crafting and perfecting for quite some time now, and the result is just the highly-enjoyable and feel good content we see in our feeds today! I know I'm bloody hyped for this final saga, and I can't wait to see your takes on it and enjoy it with you along with the rest of the fleet
The saddest part about Wano wrapping up is the thought of us never getting a Wano-themed monopoly. This shit has been going on longer than Dressrosa now, it’s only appropriate.
This whole analysis is hilarious because we know now the navy recognized him as a Yonko completely by accident, and he's not even the leader of the Cross Guild (Crocodile and Mihawk are)
When you realize this only happened just so Zoro can have a chance and a reason to fight Mihawk. Since Luffy intends to defeat all the emperors it's unavoidable for the two swordsman to clash.
@@harizihsan4126 that would be an interesting alliance, but let's face it luffy would probably want the throne too just because he doesn't want buggy to have it
@@ladyriethegoldendelmo5441 It's a fun dynamic! Buggy's subordinates may very well overpower him in combat, but they won't be able to have the same unquestionable loyalty from their fleet as buggy does, or be the diplomat and face of the same relations, connections and alliances as buggy is without internal conflict. Definitely the most clever emperor position!
Actually I think it was Buggy who thought of the idea to issue marine bounties because that was probably his motive to go after captain John’s treasure. To actually have rewards for the bounties. Everyone thinks Buggy is dumb but I feel he has a big plan for the future.
Buggy is smart. He's not just the type of smart Shounen battle manga fans find interesting. Homeboy was able to make a thriving mercenary business that was thriving and was doing dents on Doflamingo's underworld earnings. He might not be the best combatant, or Pirate. But that homie is a terrifyingly good businessman. The only good improvement to his power is his defensive capabilities, making him HARDER to kill, but shit offensive power. Cause an immortal, neigh invulnerable, CEO sounds worse than a literal pirate.
It makes perfect sense. He was already one of the highest weapon sellers, it's very possible he's been able to afford putting Big bounties. Both Crocodile and Mihawk know Buggy is a weakling, so i'm sure Buggy came up with that idea in order to make sure he could give them something in return of collaborating with him.
@@hhhfdsfs how? In his first fight with Luffy, Luffy almost DIED if not for Nico Robin. The only reason everyone survived Rainbase flooding was because they accidentally found Galdino. The time-bomb meant to blow up Alabasta had a timer set up incase someone cut the fuse and only failed cuz of Pell’s sacrifice (HAH!). His massive plans ALMOST succeeded and only failed due to elements he couldn’t predict
You know Buggy Delivery Service was never Buggy's idea but Galdino's, right? Baroque Work, Buggy Delivery Service, and Cross Guild are 3 exact same thing. I bet the real brain here is Crocodile. Mihawk is the strongest which is the real brawn. Buggy, even though the figurehead, I bet he is just trying to survive and never enjoyed being a big target.
Buggy grew on me so much. Every panel or scene with him is now pure gold comedy. He becoming an accidental CEO of the biggest criminal enterprise/syndicate with crocodile and hawk is one of my favourite things that ever happened in this series.
I realised after reading this chapter. This is the first time all the Strawhats have been together on the Sunny alone since the start of Punk Hazard. Another thing I thought of was that this new Generation of Yonko is far more dangerous to the World Government than the previous Black Beard is Chaos and active, we have no idea what he will do Shanks seems like he will be more active now that it's the new age Buggy is actively hunting Marines Luffys very existence is a threat to the world government Kaido and Big Mum seemed very content with sitting in their territories. I might be wrong. But it seems to me that they did no effort to even try and take down the World Government
They (Big Mom, Kaido and White Beard) were old and more concerned with their legacies than anything else. They did challenge the WG and made the world the way they wanted it to be. Now it's time for the next generation to repeat the cycle.
Kaido was planning to start a war, Big Mom was after the One piece but she has no means to read the Ponoglyhs which is why she wanted Pudding to awaken her third eye power, so the two haven't been inactive, if anything it was Whitebeard who was the least active as he was more or less sailing around protecting Islands, Shanks has been the biggest question mark, we know so little about him and what he been doing so hopefully soon we'll learn some more about him!
Before I watch this vid, I'm thinking Mihawk doesn't want to run his own crew so he's just chilling with buggy so he can just ride around while Buggy attracts strong people for him to test his strength with
That and Buggy and Shanks are friends to an extent and Mihawk is on very good terms with Shanks as well. They're also rivals so of course Mihawk wouldn't want to join Shanks' crew lol
Buggy also has the big name and hoarde of fodder required to keep off all the annoying weaker challengers mihawk probably doesn't want to have to deal with
The Tama and Luffy parallel actually blew my mind because Shanks saved Luffy from a Sea King while Luffy saved Tama from a much bigger fish (His fruit is named Fish Fish Model Azure Dragon)
With the marine bounties in play, I'm now worried about Coby. We'll definitely get to see how much he's grown but I keep imaging him being captured and brought before the Cross Guild. It would a great cover story if we wanted to do a smoker rescue run.
I had considered that but I am having a hard time on why either of them would help each other. Coby might try to help Boa and her sisters if they're just being slaughtered if it felt unjust but he's still a marine and I have to imagine that they're on a search and destroy mission, he's likely made peace with the fact that pirates are going to die. As for Boa, there is a fleet outside of your door who are have revoked your warlord status and are here to take/kill you. She's going to be in survival mode and will fight anyone who isn't a known ally.
*Fandom:* "Enough! We've had enough of all these 'Overpowered Buggy D. Clown lol' memes everywhere! They're stale! They're not funny at all!" *Oda:* _"Bet."_
"i have joked in past videos like 'wouldn't it be funny if Mihawk joined buggy?' and apparently Oda said yes, it would". I actually did a spit take and laughed out loud at this line
Nice to see Buggy live up to his title as "Genius"! For years the marines/government have hunted pirates down and now Buggy has turned the tables, turned the natural order upside down, and has made powerful allies with a profitable business. Truly one of the very few men worthy of the title "Pirate King". I bet Buggy's bounty system will involve stars like Doflamingo did back in Dressrosa.
I'll bet he can kill them and sell the devil fruits like Doflamingo's old racket. Man earned the New World kingpin position. Other Yonkos treat their crews like shit and poorly manage them but Buggy seems to be more of a professional leader. Better than Kaido's might is right style and Big Mom using people as pawns.
I do feel that the former emperors maintained decent relationships with the marines and would prefer not to issue bounties to remove the existing leadership. If you look at it, even the marines didn't directly confront the emperors as they did the warlords, giving Buggy a reason to issue bounties.
Luffy and Buggy’s rivalry, Mihawk and Zoro’s inevitable battle, and Robin and Crocodiles history could lead to an amazing fight between the Strawhats and the Cross Guild
Once again, Oda made me nearly bust a gut because of Buggy. Love the fact that Crocodile is getting back in on the action. Wonder what the chances are that other villains from One Piece's past will join in on the guild. Could we finally see the return of Krieg, Arlong, and Kuro? Also, Congrats on 1,000,000 subs Liam!
Oh yeah Kuro did have that one scene when Luffy was first (or second time?) issued a bounty similar to Crocodile's scene after Luffy's bounty post-Alabasta
@@ZetroFox9274 That's true. Afterall among the ones who were defeated in East Blue, only Kuro was given a special scene even after his arc ended (Not counting Arlong for fishman island). Also they would have a use for someone who is apparently really good at planning.
The thing about Buggy is that he's absolutely terrifying in the world of One Piece: * He sailed on Gol D. Roger's ship and is more than likely credited by people/the government for reaching the end of the Grand Line with him. * He has connections to Luffy, Rayleigh, and Shanks. The Marines even considering him a "brother" to Shanks. * He almost killed Luffy if not for the intervention of nature/Dragon. * He's credited with being one of the two men responsible for the mass jailbreak at Impel Down. * He was a player at Marineford who challenged Whitebeard, survived a battle with Mihawk, and was responsible for Luffy and Jinbe's escape. * He served as a member of the Warlords. * He ran one of the most powerful organizations in the underworld, which was one of/the only source of Giants as mercenaries for higher. * and now he has both Crocodile and Mihawk as his top two commanders? Let me repeat that one more time. Crocodile and Mihawk are the COMMANDERS of a Yonko crew/organization which is being lead by Buggy. people need to understand that this man deserves to be a Yonko. I'd be horrified of Buggy if I was some random person in the One Piece world and all I knew about him were the accomplishments he had under his belt according to the government.
and NOW? playing the UNO reversal card i.e., putting bounties on marines heads back? he's literally doing a thing no one has ever done !? and did u see the scar on mihawk's chest? who would do something like that? (see this is funny, but i want to say this.....IT MAY BE BUGGY !!) morons, please atleast now, understand- buggy is the real deal, the actual threat, hiding his true power for long ! he's the jack sparrow of one piece - fight less, negotiate more lol, HIS INFLUENCE IS MASSIVE NOW !
Now think about this, since he survived be cut into small slices by Mihawk… Technically, he could use control his atoms, therefore, he could use his atoms to rearrange other people’s atoms… If only he was that smart :/
Alright, here’s my theory: Shanks told Kidd about following the man with the burn scar to the One Piece. He wants Kidd to ally with Luffy (burn scar on his chest) and find the One Piece with him, or ally with Sabo (burn scar on his eye) and take down the World Government and stay out of Luffy’s way PS CONGRATS ON HITTING 1 MIL LIAM!!!!
I think that shanks also might be involved with the revolutionaries somehow. Luffy can't be the only reason shanks waited that long to claim the one piece.
so in your theory shanks casually takes kidds arm and then tells him to ally with luffy or Sabo and then expects kidd to listen to him? have you met kidd? does he seem like the type to listen after you take his freaking arm?
I feel like its the ice admiral (idk why i cant remember his name) he should have scars from his fight with akainu and is involved in the underworld now
I really like that in these last few chapters Oda has shown us that Luffy is a very observant and smart person, he just doesn't care for things that would ruin his adventure, because if Luffy took Pluton, he'd basically steamroll his way to Laughtale
The Cross Guild is pretty brilliant for Buggy actually. He has ridiculously strong subordinates but is himself weak so he created the pirate version of bounties on Marines. He gets to pretend he is giving his subordinates generous rewards to help them improve without dirtying his hands with combat.
About Carrot: my take on it was that if Carrot wasn't the one to take up the mantle, it would have been either Shishilian or Wanda. I don't think Nekomushi or Dogstorm would have wanted another cat (variant) or dog mink in charge as it puts too much weight on either side of the day and night emperors. With Carrot, while she did operate under Dogstorm, is still a good compromise and helps to prevent a civil war that could have broken out as a result. Not likely, but still.
It's probably wrong, but my headcanon is that mihawk started hunting marines for fun, much like how he did to pirates, and the navy believed that he was taking part in the cross-guild bounty system because who wouldn't want to work for buggy? EDIT: also holy shit that big chungus carrot caught me so off guard Jesus H. Christ
Really wanted Tama to become the new captain of the Beast Pirates. Just the idea of Tama coming in a big pirate battle leading the Beast Pirates and MVPing in the final war would be soo sick
Worvem references a theory they saw years ago, which posited that Buggy would be able to split atoms with the Awakened form of his Devil Fruit. This would then result in him being able to create nuclear explosions, which would literally make him a bombastic clown.
I feel like Mihawk reached the pinnacle of strength as a sword man and got to the point were he no longer had challenges and the excitement that swordsman like Zoro get when facing strong people Now that he's hunted by the marines he's actually got some drive in his life after being deemed the world's strongest swordsman. Adding to this being the hunter again and going out to collect bounties of marines. Its no shock that he would join. But crocodile definitely has an ulterior motive to joining cross guild. Probably to use the influence of a yonko who he isn't threatened by unlike Kaido, Big Mom or Shanks to further his own plans
Them leaving Wano now feels so abrupt, even though I know several chapters have passed since Kaido was defeated. I was hoping to see Zoro visit Ryuma's grave like he said he would.
Not only have a few days passed in this chapter only but it’s also been a few days for the past 3-4 chapters plus the two weeks the strawhats that weren’t unconscious spent after the defeat of kaido. It feels like the past few chapters have just been a “when are we going to leave wano?” vibe so I think it feels fitting
The person with the burn marks who has potential knowledge of another road poneglyph could very likely be our favorite cyclist Aokiji. He is "allied" with an emperor, is constantly traveling and has burn marks from his fight with Sakazuki, so he seems like the obvious choice here. Then again, Oda loves to give us an obvious answer only to hit us with a surprise
I would actually love if we got a reversal with Carrot. Basically have a repeat of Zoe where she is a stowaway with the Strawhats but this time with the motivation being that she realizes she’s not ready to take a leadership roll and wants to sail with them to grow and get stronger before taking up her roll there. I’m not betting on this by any means but it would be cool.
I don't think its likely to happen either, but narratively it makes the most sense. They mention Pedro's dream to her and Pedro didn't dream to lead the Minks, he dreamed to help Joyboy bring the dawn of a new age.
Knowing Oda. I think Carrot will runaway from her responsibility to govern the Mink's on Zoe. She is still too young and has always dreamed of going to the sea.
Buggy's fit in marineford (the marine drip with crosses over the logo and writing) might as well have been a foreshadowing of him leading the "cross" guild and crossing marines off a bounty list.
I could very well see Oda pulling one of those things where Mihawk hasn't really joined anything but rather that the marines he beats as they are chasing him is just cashed in (because why not, he already have their bodies) and the world has just interpreted it as Buggy is his leader.
I’d really like a scene where Kin’emon tearfully apologizes to Luffy, saying he’d love to continue traveling with them and join the crew but his country and wife need him. Luffy calls him an idiot and tells him he already is and always will be a Straw Hat Pirate.
@@suneelj93 Obviously. But that doesn’t mean he wouldn’t feel emotional about staying behind. If things were different I wouldn’t be surprised to see Kin’emon join Luffy for the rest of his journey, but it’s clear his place is in Wano.
Duude this is awesome. I have been watching this channel for over 2 years now I believe. It's great that you are finally getting the recognition you deserve. Congratulations Liam and thank you for feeding my one piece needs
I think the Sweet Commander that gave them the poneglyph was Snack, probably when Urouge finally beat him also get a copy of the poneglyph, making the fight for the One Piece more interesting and including this apparently powerful pirate who hasn't receive any love since his first appearance.
Truth be told, the pacing in these recent episodes is perfect for animating out into a whole weekly anime block. I really feel like Oda is making his work easier to adapt
If he has a role it should be navigator. That guy sails through the Grand Line back and forth on a small boat no problem, and yet he also is the strongest swordsman. It makes Nami look bad.
I think that's a good idea of momo with kinemon flying out to the sunny. It would complete the growth from punk hazard. How these two were so set in their wano ways that they couldn't even ask for help let alone acknowledge/care about outsiders.
I mean looking at the Carrot thing, it really seems more like Oda has set Carrot up to sneak aboard the Sunny once again. She obviously was not keen on the role she was being given and if she were to just go back to Zou now after being defeated by Candy tongue man, she would be doing exactly what he said by 'going back to the forest and eat some grass' which does not fit Pedro's dream which she seemingly inherited. She doesn't see herself as experienced enough and by heading back out to sea with the Straw Hats she'll truly be able to see the New World Dawn. While I am still Carrot for Crew and felt like this chapter was leaning toward that, I am not fully convinced she's going to be crew but we'll have to wait a week at least to see. If we see Carrot on Zou or she doesn't appear in the next 3-4 chapters, we'll have our answer.
I completely agree with your analysis on Carrot's character. But after Carrot's revenge arc got completely scrapped during Wano, I just think Oda (or the editors) changed course on Carrot joining the crew after Yamato became so popular.
Predo's will was never about revenge, but telling Carrot to keep moving forward. The fight she had showed her that she was still too weak, and that if she went back to Zou she'd be stopping and not moving forward.
@@Weaponator18 No one has become a strawhat based on popularity or the editors. They were all planned from the start, even Jinbei. The exception is Robin.
I just to stop the one piece madness for a second and congratulate you Liam on hitting that one million subscriber mark!! Your hard work and dedication to this fanbase is awe inspiring, and I'm glad I've been able to see this journey of yours for 3 years! 💐 to you good sir! 💐 to you!
I was pleasantly surprised to find out that Kid actually has knowledge about the Poneglyphs although in typical Oda fashion that creates more questions than answers. Has he already been to Lodestar? If not then how did he find out about the Poneglyphs and their significance? Did he target Shanks because Shanks has a Road Poneglyph? I can't believe I'm saying this but does Kid get a W? Actually when you think about it Kid still takes 3 Ls. Firstly because he was about to leave Wano without getting Kaido's Road Poneglyph; claims he needs to get serious but is only just about kept in the race by some charity from Law. Secondly because he is departing a land with 2 people capable of reading Poneglyphs, he certainly has no Idea how to read them; it's possible that the man marked by flames is someone who can read them I guess, but still an L. And the biggest L is because he doesn't currently have the Road Poneglyph from the Whale tree which will literally be impossible for him to locate. He literally had the most fortuitous opportunity ever when Zunesha came to Wano, but he missed it. Huge L This basically confirms yet again that Kid is Luffy without the luck, because Luffy finds Poneglyphs without trying and recruited one of the only known individuals capable of reading them, but even when Kid has everything he needs come to him, he still misses out.
POV: you are super stoked that GRL got 1mln subs and keep checking for the legendsry video you know is coming but you are running out of patience slowly but surely
Buggy becoming an emperor was pretty meh to me until this chapter. This definitely makes buggy more goated with this in consideration and puts his raw influence more in perspective.
Congratulations on 1 million subs, been watching your content for years on all 3 of your channels, and never thought a channel only focused on one piece could achieve this feat, many many congratulations, well done!
I think why the straw hats decided to leave without telling anyone is kinda like a retelling of white beard leaving without telling oden but for Yamato
I feel like the whole scene with Carrot may have been a red herring to set up giving her an excuse to stow away on the Sunny like she did the first time. The other Minks go out of their way to bring up Pedro's will to try and convince Carrot, but they don't actually mention what that will was. Pedro's will, ever since he was a child, was in fact to leave Zou and travel the seas in order to search for the Dawn of the World. And the will that he specifically left behind to Carrot was for her to make sure the Straw Hats could go on to bring about said Dawn. It'd feel really weird to me for Oda to frame this scene with Carrot explicitly refusing the request to return to Zou and saying she does not want that, and then to go out of his way to remind her and the readers of the reasons why she wouldn't want to do that, only to turn around and have her simply accept it and walk out of the story off-screen.
Cuz he was part of Rogers crew a blood brother of shanks and broke out of impel down. His noteriotety alone honestly makes it not that far of a stretch. The meme is better and makes more sense than god usopp
I think it needs to be said that the cross guild more than likely won’t make bounty hunters relevant again. Like let’s not forget that Zoro was so infamous as a bounty hunter before joining the strawhats that he was known as THE pirate hunter. So it would feel a little weird to have any bounty hunter capable of taking on admiral or something that we haven’t heard of before. If mihawk or crocodile were to try and go after them that’d be fine but expecting bounty hunters to be relevant again I think isn’t going to be accurate unless they were going after a lower level marine we know which basically leaves it to Koby only
Some part of me thinks that the marine bounty is something mihawk put in for himself. He was known as the marine hunter, the bounty is probably some form of like "hey you could go for this marine." then they pay him. If another person comes along then it's a win win cause mihawk can go for another marine.
There are two plot threads running running throughout this video.... One literal, one hidden, both oddy similar. The story of an unlikely clown who gathered a cohort of like-minded followers, "failed" upward, and embodied the mantra "Fake it 'til you make it." Now both are in a place that, at their starts, could only be described as thr far off hope of an unreachable destination. Clown #1, Buggy, is a Yonko. Clown #2, Liam, is a youtuber.....and both have become synonymous with the phrase, "How the F**k did this happen!?" I'm just messing around with the clown stuff and the surprise at Liam's success. I almost never comment on videos, but I wanted congratulate you on reaching 1 million subs. Your videos were the main catalyst behind my head first drive into One Piece. Originally, I'd sparingly watch the Anime from time to time... Never finishing an arch or having a cohesive understanding of what I was seeing.... Then, on a random night 2 years ago, an even more random idea popped into my mind...."Have the Strawhats found the one piece yet?" So, I did a search on RUclips and found my first ever Grand Line Review. Then came the GLR rabbit hole and full-blown Fandom. So thank you Liam, I plan on being here at 2 million subs and whatever else comes. Ohh, and just so everyone know knows.... the answer to my question that started this all was no... they Strawhats had not yet found the One Piece 2 years ago.
I really want to see what's become of Kaido and Big Mam. Have they just been left to die underground? Were they recovered but completely emaciated and locked away? Usually the end of an arc shows what became of the main villain(s)
Richie is the second in command of Cross guild. It is backed up by fact that it was Richie who took over as captain after buggy when buggy was no there. Richie outranks mihawk and croco and you can't convince me otherwise.
Congrats on 1 million Liam you deserve it. I’m so proud to be a fan from years back. Your videos helped me a lot when I wasn’t the happiest and I can’t wait to see all the amazing consistent injections of one piece culture administered directly into our youtube feed.
If the man with the burn scar is Kuzan with the last road poneglyph, think about how beautifully poetic it would be; the final obstacle for the straw hats to overcome before going to Laugh Tale is a former admiral with a long history with the crew, particularly Robin and her pursuit of the history of the world.
Gongrats on 1 million subs Liam! I started my journey watching you 2 years ago during quarantine when boredom was at its highest. I found your channel and gave it a shot, and that was one of my best ideas ever, because I found a channel with great content that flows directly into my RUclips feed. Thank you
I think the word 'cross' in 'cross guild' actually means that Mihawk is the leader and Buggy is just a figurehead. Because Mihawk is the one associated with crosses (His sword, his chain, stuff like that)
I guess that's the combo of them 3 coz the cross sword is similar to baroque works jolly roger. Mihawk- the group name (well his responsible for the group reputation coz of his title as the strongest swordsman) Buggy- the figure head Crocodile- 2 cross sword design symbolized that he is the admin on the background planning behind. 🤣🤣🤣
Let’s not forget that Robin and Crocodile still have a score to settle with each other; Sanji may have the eventual glory of fighting Crocodile (one on one), but an “Indiana Jones vs Belloq” archeology hunt/“battle of wits” between Robin and Crocodile would be equally awesome to imagine.
What's worth discussing is...how many Road Poneglyphs do Law and Kid have? Does Law have Big Mom's copy? Does Kid have Zou's copy? We know Luffy has three of them, but it's not quite clear if Kid and Law also share having all 3.
I love Yamato and I would love to see them in the crew but... I think this whole "I'm Oden" thing need to be resolved. For me to be 100% on board with Yamato as a strawhat I want them to have their own will. Maybe they ask Luffy if he wants Kozuki Oden in his ship and Luffy says "no" because Oden is dead, thus forcing Yamato to find their own personality... Something along those lines.
Oden is a concept for Yamato, there’s nothing to be resolved. His gender identity has nothing to do with it, since he’s known as Kaido’s son, if that’s the point you and others that dislike the whole “I’m Oden” idea are trying to make.
@@agilsonlobato9517 It does have something to do with Oden, since when Luffy asks why they're call "Kaido's son" they say that they chose to be a man because Oden was a man. But anyway, Yamato can be a man if they want to be, as long as Yamato is Yamato. I just think Yamato's dream to live someone else's life is weaker when compared to the other strawhats' motivations.
This chapter was huge for many different reasons going forward, and I am super happy to see Crocodile be more important again...but oh my god why is Caribou still around!?!? He's like the most useless uninteresting character, but the dude just been chilling in the background since frickin Fish-man Island.
I mean, I've read a lot of Fanfictions where the MC kinda does the same thing. Setting up a Country or an Empire, putting bounties on Marines, even setting up a New Navy type organization. Though I think the best Fanfiction I ever read was one where the MC grew up in Wano with Yamato, Jack, Maria, even the two little dinosaur kids show up after a few years. Essentially, the MC, Yamato and the others grow up under the brutal 'care' of big daddy Kaido, who is definitely not a good father figure, even by One Piece standards. Their Dream is simply to escape, have a banquet on every island in the world and also to defeat Kaido. Eventually, they even went into space and became Space Pirates, which are canonically a thing in One Piece, that barely ever gets mentioned lmao. I feel like it should be a really important part of the background.

Buggy is the most insane charcater in one piece .He legit put a uno reverse on the marines
I realised after reading this chapter. This is the first time all the Strawhats have been together on the Sunny alone since the start of Punk Hazard.
Another thing I thought of was that this new Generation of Yonko is far more dangerous to the World Government than the previous
Black Beard is Chaos and active, we have no idea what he will do
Shanks seems like he will be more active now that it's the new age
Buggy is actively hunting Marines
Luffys very existence is a threat to the world government
Kaido and Big Mum seemed very content with sitting in their territories. I might be wrong. But it seems to me that they did no effort to even try and take down the World Government
Agreed
Kaido's plan was to eventually wage war on the world govt alongside Biggu Mommu
remember what law said ? no one in the old generation doing something significant to be noticed
I'm gonna miss Kinemon so much.
He's been with us for so long he feels as if he actually belongs there.
Happy he's getting the ending he deserves.

Why would the Cross Guild want to kill Coby though? Wouldn't they more likely want to put bounties on the heads of corrupt marines?
Maby smoker and coby might get a mini arc becauce of the marine bounties
Maybe Boa capture Coby and he Is kind of safe with her
@@Ineedashi Would like that.

@@Ray_D_Tutto It's a new generation and so far Luffy, Buggy, Kid, Law, etc. have proven the new ways are better than their old ways

The most obvious candidate is Doffy tbh. Buggy would need someone with connection's all over the underworld and world government.
The thing about Buggy is that he's absolutely terrifying in the world of One Piece:
* He sailed on Gol D.
(see this is funny, but i want to say this.....IT MAY BE BUGGY !!)

Still, I won't be surprised if Carrot decides to stow away on the sunny again 2bh..

@@braden8805 I remember her being introduced alongside Wanda and based my understanding on that. So I could be wrong.

I would actually love if we got a reversal with Carrot. I’m not betting on this by any means but it would be cool.
I don't think its likely to happen either, but narratively it makes the most sense. They mention Pedro's dream to her and Pedro didn't dream to lead the Minks, he dreamed to help Joyboy bring the dawn of a new age.
That would be such a perfect misdirection. I hope it happens just to see the reactions

I can definitely see this happened
Yup, I think this is exactly what happened.
I’d really like a scene where Kin’emon tearfully apologizes to Luffy, saying he’d love to continue traveling with them and join the crew but his country and wife need him. Luffy calls him an idiot and tells him he already is and always will be a Straw Hat Pirate.

I wonder, is mihawk the cook of the buggy pirates now?
If he has a role it should be navigator. That guy sails through the Grand Line back and forth on a small boat no problem, and yet he also is the strongest swordsman.
It makes Nami look bad.
Wonder if Buggy found Captain John's treasure yet
Exactly. This contradicts everything Pedro sought to do.
Oooh yes pls
I completely agree with your analysis on Carrot's character. But after Carrot's revenge arc got completely scrapped during Wano, I just think Oda (or the editors) changed course on Carrot joining the crew after Yamato became so popular.
Predo's will was never about revenge, but telling Carrot to keep moving forward. The fight she had showed her that she was still too weak, and that if she went back to Zou she'd be stopping and not moving forward.

Huge L
This basically confirms yet again that Kid is Luffy without the luck, because Luffy finds Poneglyphs without trying and recruited one of the only known individuals capable of reading them, but even when Kid has everything he needs come to him, he still misses out.
further proving Luffy's luck is he didn't even try to recruit Robin, she just popped up on his ship 😂

Stowaway is the only way she comes with, but it would totally be in character
Be pretty neat if the other minks are just saying this to push Carrot into joining the crew cause they know she needs a specific goal moving forward.
I was really wondering why buggy became an emperor
Me too
Cuz he was part of Rogers crew a blood brother of shanks and broke out of impel down. His noteriotety alone honestly makes it not that far of a stretch. The meme is better and makes more sense than god usopp
Mihawk
Congrats! Been here since like 300k and just so happy to be a part of this.
Congratulations on 1 million subscribe. Can't wait what is inside that box.
I'm kinda' worried about the Kuja Pirates, I was hoping that we would see them as part of the Buggy team.
I would love to see an image of an ultra instinct Brook. With the aura around him actually being his awakened soul powers.
I wish I could buy sticker versions of EVERY SINGLE animation that you put in this vid I love your channel artist she’s so fun!
ONE MILLION SUBCRIBERS!!! appreciate all your content, Congratulations 🎉
Usually the end of an arc shows what became of the main villain(s)
that's true, I'm curious too since I'm not used to one piece characters dying
@@marissaffs9824 exactly. We need to know!
Richie is the second in command of Cross guild. It is backed up by fact that it was Richie who took over as captain after buggy when buggy was no there. Richie outranks mihawk and croco and you can't convince me otherwise.
He is a Lion after all, a Hawk and a Crocodile will bow to the king of the jungle.
11:25 that certainly did not last long
Gongrats on 1 million subs Liam!
Mihawk- the group name (well his responsible for the group reputation coz of his title as the strongest swordsman)
Buggy- the figure head
Crocodile- 2 cross sword design symbolized that he is the admin on the background planning behind.
🤣🤣🤣
The battle for the title of Pirate King (and Best Swordsman):
Luffy vs. Buggy D. Clown
Zoro vs. Mihawk
and i guess Crocodile vs. Sanji/Mr. Prince
“Neutral on sand?!” Anakin Skywalker has some choice words for you
I love Yamato and I would love to see them in the crew but... Something along those lines.
i think you’re absolutely right abt that, i can almost see the panel
LESSGO CONGRATULATIONS ON ONE MILLION 🎉🎉🎉 WE DID IT MAN
