I don't know how to thank you but this breakdown is amazing! Already learned so many new things. Loved how you went in depth with everything. Keep up the amazing work and I hope you'll make more of these. (If you have the time ofc.)
Would've been nice to cover some rough timings regarding modelling & rendering (considering a normal-paced workflow and not doing "speed-art" as some clients would expect). Basically, if a 3d artist decides to go into the CG watch industry, what would be the time estimations for this kind of project? Obviously, not every model/project is the same but in relation to your example.
How'd you render the scene out as a video? I know that's probably a noob question, but I have my own project I'm trying to render as a video from Octane and color grade it in After Effects, but each frame takes 10-15 minutes to render, I have no idea how I can render this as a two-second animation. Any help please? Thanks so much in advance.
I drag in the c4d file for animation preview and render out stills for color grading then render out full animation when everything is done. Or render out low sample and resolution for animation previews and render out stills for color grading
mechanical watches move fluently. the movement of the seconds hand can only be achieved via an analog quartz movement, so its technically not possible. Nevertheless, great Video.
awesome bro you are one of the best cinema 4D artist I've ever seen keep going. BTW can you make a video about how to project texture right way? every time i get work i need to make 4 side of a cubic object and then appy them one each side so i need to now can i project texture on 4 side applying once not making 4 for each side. please make a video one that i won't take long i hope. thanks for your videos. :)
@@ArthurWhitehead yes but right way I can't do it properly even if it's a simple cube then I adjust material but then it's very annoying cause I just can't project right way so can you show the right way or easy way to do it? Please?
