Last time I fished barefoot, I caught a big crawdad on my big toe. No more. This is my wife and I 's favorite lake in Colorado, It's beautiful and we caught many fish there.
Chad, your 12 foot boat in some of your videos. Did you make the decks on that? If yes did you just use ply wood? I have a 40.5" wide 15 foot canoe, I want to do same thing if its stable enough. I have a 5hp motor and trolling motor, have my own little Bass boat!!
We did build the decks with 7 ply Baltic Birch plywood (it's very light and rigid compared to regular or marine ply). The Crawdad is 44" wide and 11.5' long with a flat bottom. You can see the full build in pics on our Facebook page.

I've fished barefoot my whole life whenever possible...no crawdad incidents so far!
Do you know anything about pearl lake close by it?
We filmed grayling there once.
@@FishfulThinker thx!
Flies and lures only. Pretty lake.
I'll be checking the lake out next weekend! Taking the canoe and electric motor up. Are there any Walleyes or smallmouth in there?
Making me miss Colorado. 🙂
The only reason I don’t fish steamboat more is the drive over. Nicely done.
I started using a 1/32 -1/16 with a Berkley minnow, great success, I catch Wyoming Rainbows/Tiger trout!! Fun times...
