    What is the difference between chlorine released from chlorofluorocarbons and a chlorine molecule and how they effect the ozone layer?

      Chlorine emitted from CFCs contains free radical and generate chain reactions. Chlorine emitted from CFCs reaches at stratospheric height while ordinary chlorine is simple oxidizing agent and never destroy ozone because it maximum reaches at troposphere
