No nonsense review and I like the fact that you have used both sling bags great reviews on both. I did 21 years in the Army so I couldn’t help but notice your hat, thank you for being a Sea-B and serving our Country🇺🇸
Awesome to see a fellow Seabee doing a review!!!! I was a builder with nmcb 74 and nmcb 7 out of Gulfport. Thank you for your service sir!! Been looking at a 3v outlaw two....
@@anoldmaninthewoods2548 thank you....because of you I got an outlaw two sling packs...came with punisher patch flag patch 3 v patch and a organizer pouch....
Awesome review Brian..... Great comparison and both great packs. I love my 5:11 pack. The moab has become very popular. It has a lot of the same features as the Rush 72 that I use. Plus I find the 5:11 packs very hard wearing. Stunning location Brian …… you luck man :) Hope you are enjoying the new camera...…. the footage is awesome. Very clear!! Have a great day brother, all the best, Mark. P.S. How come you still have nice weather in Alaska when it is only 50 degrees, cold rain and windy here in Britain. I'm moving over there with you LOL.
Thanks, Mark! Yup, 5.11 makes some very durable products. Your question about the weather is a good one! The answer is: nobody knows! Usually, it would be cold and rainy at least by mid-September, but this year we slated to be "the warmest, dryest September on record!" We have enjoyed the great weather all summer long, but we will, no doubt pay for it this winter! Take care.
Old man you missed the conceal carry hidden pocket on the Moab 10 sir. Don’t use the hydration pocket for your Glock. It’s a Velcro pouch between the front admin pocket and the main compartment. It opens up behind the admin pocket with Velcro. I love the Moab 10. There is Velcro in there to attach a holster or you can place free like you have already. It’s made to sling around to your chest and grant fast access to your handgun.
Hi Matt! My Moab 10 is an older version, there is no velcro in that pouch. I wish there was. Thanks for watching and taking the time to comment! Brian.
That depends on what your purpose for it would be and your prefences. Both are well built from tough material. Personally, I use the 5.11 more for the simple ability to switch the strap and use it either left or right shoulder. For travelling, however I use the 3V more because of the pocket locations. It's up to you. Thanks for watching.
