Agree! Sean, your life is a dream of lots of us. The job that you love, beautiful and smart dogs, a lot of animals, gorgeous landscapes, a beautiful wife. You can’t to ask any better life than this. You are amazing!
Sean - We always hear about how the dogs are trained - which I love to watch - but I don't recall you talking about how you were trained as a shepherd. I would appreciate hearing that someday.
Sorry you experienced a head injury. Mild concussion is nothing to be taken lightly. Any concussion can have side effects pop up later on in the recovery process. Glad you checked out well and laid low for several days. I m sure the dogs missed their routine and Stacey was concerned for your well being. Looked like Echo was doing well in his training on this video clip. He is such a great dog! Peace and Blessings to you all! ☮️💟👍❤️🐕🦺🐕❤️
Your dogs' joy in their work is such a pleasure to watch and a great escape from all the bad news surrounding us. I loved hearing that the reward for doing a run correctly is that Echo gets to herd a little bit. So sorry about your accident and glad it's healing well!
It’s so fun to watch the dogs do their herding maneuvers! And it’s interesting to learn what the dogs are supposed to be doing - like going to the fence. I never knew that! Thanks for teaching us!
Sean, Geez, that head injury looks rough.❤️🩹 Please take great care of yourself. I'll keep you in my thoughts and prayers. Thanks for the update and the wonderful training video.🐑🐕
That was brilliant to watch Echo did so well and seems to love it ! Take care of yourself- that wee speech stammer at the beginning could be part of your concussion so take it carefully Great video - thanks to you & Echo 🙏😘
Truly Man's Best Friend! 🐕 Please respect your head injury! Your dogs admiration for you is so evident as they wait in anticipation for your command to release them. The work is the reward... Seems like something we could all learn from... 🤔
Not finding your words is quite normal with a decent knock to your noggin. Love the videos the dogs are such a joy to watch. Take care of yourselves and dinnae give your wife any more worries.
Sean, love your sense of humor. I believe you can be a lot of fun to be around. Hope your head is feeling better and you are not having any after effects. Your work with the dogs is always very impressive and you have a good eye in training them. Take care!
Take care, Sean. Sorry to hear of your injury. Give yourself any healing supplements to support your swift and complete healing and recovery. Thinking of you.
Hi Sean. I’m so sorry you were injured. Just glad you’re okay. Thanks for including Echo. I love watching your BCs work. BTW…I’m glad you did not remove this part 0:10 of the video. Please tell Stacy I said hello.
Sean! Your head! Looks a little gnarly!! SOMEDAY, you'll have to share what happened... my own concussion was from a car accident in my senior year of my university nursing program. It was a challenge at the time. I hope your memory is not too affected, friend, and also glad that you were able to be thoroughly checked out. Please be CAREFUL! Echo looked so good today, rounding up the Hebrideans. They do love to scurry away from him! Thank you for letting us see how you improve his skills. Have a great week, all of you!
Wishing you a speedy recovery! Mild concussion symptoms such as ringing ears, headaches, irritability, speech and visual processing issues can take months to completely disappear. Be kind to yourself
Excellent video! Wish you would have explained how you received that head injury. It looked like a large gash. Echo is a good listener and you show how you need to keep up with training so these dogs keep up their skills too. Wish that photo deal was for the USA too!
Nice to hear you’re feeling a bit better! I’m sure it’s frustrating when you have to step back from the daily routine, but head injuries demand a little time to heal up. I’m really enjoying watching you work with Echo. Not only do I get to see Echo’s progress, I get to watch/listen to your interactions with him while he’s still learning. I love his personality showing through his work 😊
Dear Sean, despite your desire to get back at doing everything as you had b4, you seriously must cut back for a bit. You are not invincible, dear friend. Your wife is of great support to keep an eye on ye, and don't argue with her! She knows what is best, too. Care for you and your blessed gift. Love your shepherd hook, so ask He above to keep your guardian angel closer than usual. Much care and appreciation from Massachusetts, USA. Formerly 😊. 👋 Your beautiful, intelligent dogs are very concerned about their buddy. Sometimes, rest comes in mysterious ways.
Glad to hear you are better...hopefully 100% very soon! I have a request...wondering if you can lay out a diagram of your fields and the different routes you take so we can better understand the reasons you move you animals around?? Love your content, especially the dogs and always look forward to the next video! This was a great video of why you command the dogs the way you do! thank you!!
Amazing demonstration. Such excellent, happy dogs. It's a joy to see you & them working so well together. Glad to hear you're healing. It's distressing to see your whole sky made plaid with chemicals though. They do the same here in the mountains of Maryland where I am. I wish that would stop!
Yikes! Quite an injury! I know you have to work, Sean, but listen to your body and don't push too hard. As for Echo (and the other dogs) always amazing to watch. So intelligent and willing to please! Thank you and take care.😊
Glad you are feeling better after your accident. You took all the necessary steps, had a CT scan and followed doctor’s directions. Give yourself time to heal fully, concussions can take a while to recover from.
Prayers for a full recovery Sean 🙏. How fascinating and calming this video was for someone who hasn't even got a dog at present, can only imagine how helpful it is for people who have herding dogs. Well done and God Bless you, Stacey and your pack.
I’m glad your head is on the mend ❤️🩹 again. Still… please be careful and really heal from a concussion because otherwise you’ll have daily headaches for the rest of your life… and no way of recovering from that.
Ouch…that was a nasty fall. Glad you had a scan . You can’t mess around with any form of a concussion. So enjoy watching your dogs work. Would love to know how you start training when pups are wee. Do you have any earlier videos showing early training. I just recently found your channel and love it. Take care.
Love the view of the stone house and hills in the background! Great work out for all :) wonder if the sheep know they're in for a outwork when they see Sean and Echo heading into the pasture ??
Just found your channel and am really enjoying your videos. Sorry to hear about your accident, look after yourself mate, hope you heal soon. Has anyone ever told you that you say “lay down” like a real Aussie?!! It made me smile. I’m in Brisbane Australia and have nothing to do with sheep cows or farming but we owned and loved dearly a beautiful border collie x kelpie for many years, her name was Rebel and watching you with Echo brings back such lovely memories. Keep up the great videos hugs Deb
Ouch! I know how that feels. I got a head injury falling over my handle bars on my bike. I was switch blading and hit a stump I didn’t see. Over I went, landing on the right side of my forehead. When I woke up the next morning, it looked like someone hit me across the eyes, face with a two by four. My eyes swelled shut, my face looked like a deformed monster. They called it a Closed Head Injury. Man…what an experience I had
Love watching the puppies do their stuff! I’m learning the commands with them even though I will never get the chance to use them living in a city in the USA! Sometimes I try to predict what you will tell them to do! God Bless you and Stacy, may all your dreams come true!
Sorry to hear of your head injury! I hope it's on the mend and that you don't have much of after effects! Your dogs are soo well trained, I love seeing you work them!
Echo is very focused on you as well as the sheep. He is going to grow into a super herding dog with a bit more confidence. You treat your collies so well. I'd rather watch you guys than sheepdog trials. It's what it's like in the real world.❤️
Once the dog is out working, would it herd the sheep if you didn’t give the commands? Like…if you got distracted, would the dog be able to finish the job? Get the sheep into the next field or pen? It wouldn’t just lay down, or run back to you would they? Idk…..but I sure do love watching them do their job….their beautiful!
Hope you are doing well. Just would like you to know that you and your lady make a lovely couple. I love watching you work with your dogs, I can tell they are well taken care of. Hope to visit your beauty country one day. Take care. I'm looking forward to your next video.
Can you please explain the commands and what they mean again! Thanks! And glad you’re healing from your head injury! Love watching your videos!Love the dogs!
i really enjoy your vidios as a recent sub. to your channel . as an australian , when we visited my uncle,s farm, ( many decades ago ) we were not allowed to go near the working dogs ( that were housed in 44gal. drums ,with the ends cut out, far from the farm house). its so "heart warming" to see how times have changed & your dogs are not only appreciated as your work force but also very much loved🥰 members of the family. i salute you & your lovely wife for sharing & training these wonderful dogs.
Hey Sean! So good your healing but your play is not considered to be light. I winner the mama here but don’t push yourself so hard okay! ❤ when you get your stitches out is your trigger to know your heads doing better 🥰🥰❤️
Sean, great training, thank you for sharing. PLEASE protect your head. As a farmer myself, & as many other farmers can also understand / relate that work, training needs to get done, no matter the season. Still, take precautions & do not take lightly the mild concussion. Try and keep your workload to a minimum and light even for a couple of weeks after the concussion.
Glad you're well. You're one of the nicest people on the planet
Please do not mess with a concussion. The effects last longer than you think. Even if it’s considered minor.
I fell hard on my driveway. That was in 2012. Since then I stutter when I get stressed.
@@murdochaz 😮Sorry to learn that. Hope & pray it improves with time. 🙏

Hope you make a speedy recovery... gorgeous video... lovely to see the dogs working and they obviously love it . Thanks for sharing ❤
I hope you’re healing well. I’ve had a minor concussion, and you should take it seriously. Thanks for another great video!
Heal well, Sean! We want lots more videos, but not at the expense of your health! ❤
Glad you had good medical care and are recovering well!

Sean, love your sense of humor. I believe you can be a lot of fun to be around. Hope your head is feeling better and you are not having any after effects. Your work with the dogs is always very impressive and you have a good eye in training them. Take care!
I’ve had 3 concussions, unconscience with all! I’m 77 now and the effects are long lasting! Be careful Sean!❤️❤️❤️
Take care, Sean. Sorry to hear of your injury. Give yourself any healing supplements to support your swift and complete healing and recovery. Thinking of you.
Good grief. Hope healing comes quickly. ❤❤❤ Just love to see Echo work. He loves it!!!

Yes, the shepherd hook! Good advice about "not arguing". LOL. And put the guardian angel to work as well - their job is no less important.
Glad you’re feeling better and love watching Echo he’s going to be great ❤️

I get excited when I see I have video from Sean the sheepman!
Amazing. You are very talented. Good video. THX
Sorry you were injured and glad you are on the mend, Sean. It looks like Echo will figure it out right enough with a bit more practice :)

I love this channel. I have a Border Collie with very similar markings. The photographs of the boys (dogs) are wonderful. Keep up the great vids.
