Considering shoes can last many years if you take care of them, it doesn't seem that ridiculous of a price. However if you're straight up tearing your shoes apart and doing all sorts of stuff, don't go for streetwear, just get some work shoes or cheaper stuff

Most of the shoes you can “find” at the outlet sell for under retail locally and even with tax and fees you can get em pretty close to retail and tax
