Hunter - over stimulated Kelpie

Meet Hunter!
Hunter is a 15 month old Kelpie who is a severe leash puller, lacks impulse control and has no life skills. He is not aggressive but his over the top behaviour can trigger reactivity in other dogs. When he is over stimulated Hunter can growl and bark at people and dogs.

These are the issues we’re having with our pup. He’s 9 months, we purchased him as a border collie - but recently realised he’s 50:50 kelpie / border collie cross. He pulls on the lead, even with a harness, he’s a really destructive chewer, gets over stimulated when other dogs are around and can’t concentrate - therefore doesn’t listen. And his over excitement sometimes triggers reactivity in other dogs

I have the same issue with my kelpie,overly excited with other dogs causing reactivity in other dogs,but he is absolutely adorable and the most affectionate dog I have ever had,Ava great one

wow! This is like my 7 month old full bred Kelpie, she is great, easily distracted as she is still a puppy but just absolutely loves dogs. Huge distraction for her, she will try to pull towards them. Her recall is great only if there's no dogs around. Thanks for sharing this video.
