      I just got an amazing bushy purple one..(am in Blr)..the spot gets sun from early morning until 2pm...is it normal for the leaves to droop?.. Thanks for the inspiration 🙏🏽

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  7 месяцев назад +1

      Please check if the soil becomes dry much sooner..Normally leaves don't droop even with full sun. Look like, it's the lack of water. You can be sure that it's lack of water when they come back to normal after watering or looks fine in the morning (before direct sunlight. Good luck!

    • @shephherd
      @shephherd 7 месяцев назад

      I think that is the issue.... should I put it in a larger pot?

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  7 месяцев назад +1

      Sure you can. But if it's already blooming, repotting at this time won't be a good idea (It might get repotting shock). You can simply fill an other pot (half) with soil and keep the Chrysanthemum pot on top of it. That way, it would be getting the moisture from the bottom soil.

    • @GardeningUpbeat
      @GardeningUpbeat  Год назад +1

      It's actually end of the season for Chrysanthemum and they would stop flowering. I posted this video when it was right time for Chrysanthemum. Anyway..nothing to be worried. You can still keep the plant for the next year.
      Leaves are droopy - This shouldn't have happened if you haven't used more amount. Please keep the plant in shade for next few days. Keep under sunlight once you see some improvement. Good luck!
