Nice to know that you did research by watching Vangelis' review first. If anything though you have proven how really fiddly this masterpiece figure can be. All the extra accessories are a part of this toy for a reason, this is not your usual Transformer, this is for collectors in mind only and not for people who just want a toy to play with. Oh and I see you went with the wrong spelling on the box; it's 'Exkaiser' not 'Exkiser' as that makes it sound like 'Ex Key Ser'. Nice review though. :)
I recently learnt about this line through the transformers wikia page, and I thought I'd look em up. Found one of these guys on ebay for 50 quid, and this review has been invaluable in deciding whether to take plunge. I WAS hoping he'd be in a nice scale with Masterpiece Transformers... uh, no.
It's not your fault. The box art doesn't help, but being from Japan, the writing would be in Engrish, instead of proper English, that's what is to be expected of Japanese box art. But you have shown how fiddily these masterpiece toys can be, something that Vangelus neglected to inform us of....I also blame his subtitles for not pointing that out! :D
Despite the fact that I have seen them, the USB size comparison of Kouta and Mario made me laugh, I forgot how small they are! By the way I didn't detect any camera shake haha :0)
Nice review. I like this figure but I think i'll stick to the original. Like you, I've prefer my bots chunky and brick like. Any articulation beyond the elbows is a waste anyway.
Great review man! I have MP Dragon Kizer, but not from the gift set. And he has the big sword featured on Vangelus' review. Good luck hunting him down, MP Great Exkizer is an awesome figure (even if I also love the original :)).
You're very welcome. I really want to check out the brave series Never seen them but they look cool., I heard the original toys were modified abandoned G1 Transformers designs. If this is true I wonder what they would have been like. Cheers Rob

Nice one! I thought it was exclusive to the giftset, I have come close a couple of times on ebay, get him one day.
