I would have loved this one as one of those 12" statues they have made in the past, like that other Superman one with the cloth cape. Its scaling would still be off, but at least it would look better in a diorama with the rest of this wave.
The one thing about the wired capes is that they’re super short and not as long as the regular cloth capes on Batman for example. They need to make them longer like go down to where the feet are at. Mcfarlane really has to do that
I think this is a neat version to do a Platinum on. Not necessary but nice to have to display in a diorama or simply as a statue. Hopefully I can find one in the wild but luck hasn't been good to me with Platinums that I want. I finally got my hands on the Action Comics Superman after a month of searching Walmarts and that one needed eagle eyes to spot at the top of the shelf space. :\
Awesome figure, a standout in my opinion, unique and different. Not into the movie figures generally but have this on order. Thanks for the review. Always the best to get a real idea of the figure
I didn't know this existed until today, when I went to pick up my Superman/Doomsday 2 pack at gamestop...and there it was on the shelf. Was a no brainer. Between this and the SDCC statue, I suddenly have a love of Superman statues lol

@@dHuntersReviews But does it come single carded as this "false God" figure, or do you get it in the two pack with doomsday and it's just a toss up of which Superman you get? And the two pack is 69.99 in my area. I thought I remember seeing it as a single card release. That's why I'm confused how it could be in the two pack.
@@mikeyfjune there’s the 2 pack And the chase single No single regular Jeeze $70 is a lot for that pack I bought 2 of them and used multiple discounts at McFarlane store I prob still paid $55 or so
Why did they have to make this one? It would’ve been fine if it was a regular statue. This could’ve been the regular red and blue in a single pack. If they wanted to make it different they should’ve gave the blue a lighter color tone
And another thing they have to do is don’t overpaint the yellow on the belt!!! It didn’t stand out that much. They should not have have painted the outlines yellow going around the inner part of the belt that supposed to be yellow. They did it right with the black suit with the gray I don’t see what’s so hard with not doing it with the red and blue suit
I don’t want this one. Happy to not waste money on this figure. I have the black suited version but would want the regular colors version with cloth cape.
