I've owned many detectors and the F75 is the only detector I look forward to swing

    Thank you
Certain Discovery TR for the video, and sharing the F75 audio and VDI readings; I find the hunting videos that let the viewer see and hear what the detector is telling you to be among the very best. I could tell what you had when I saw the VDI readings. I enjoyed your funny audio cues, too. The foil ones were the best.
I don't use Delta Pitch on my F75 very often, but I do like how foil sounds like iron. So far I have yet to find any gold of any type, but not for lack of trying. :-)

Two days ago, I was using my F75 limited edition at a school. I got a signal target ID 88-91, depth 4 inches. I cut a plug and used my pinpointer and the find was in the plug. I slowly extracted it. It was a copper coin and the size of a quarter but slightly bigger and thicker. On the back it said "One Cent" I turned the coin over. It read United States of America. I knew then it was a large cent. I checked the date "1846". Wow. I wonder how did it get here.

Wow! What a great find ! Maybe there is some history around that school property or maybe it was brought in with some fill dirt or maybe back in the day someone just happened to be passing through. I’m like you, finding that coin would make me wonder “ How did it get here ?” . I would be tempted to go in all metal mode starting at the spot where I dug that coin and listen for anything that sounded deep. There could be more?

Does anyone have a secret of finding gold with the F75. I was told gold is at the range of 22 to 27. So far I found 2 gold rings and tons of foil and slaw of tin cans.

I usually find about 20-40 gold rings a season with my F75. They can ring anywhere from the low 20's for the smaller gold, go up into the 60's for 10k class rings. The trick to finding rings consistently is location, location, and location. Sports fields and anyplace that people consistently exercise are the top producers, and usually lower amounts of trash than you would have to deal with in a park (think pull tabs galore).

@@Ferrous_Bueller 60s will be in the zinc penny areas. Thus, you probably dig up a lot of zinc pennies as well. Have you dug up gold rings in the 30s and 50s as well.

@@whyicare I have, some of the larger low carat men's bands ring up in those ranges. The good thing is that zinc pennies ring up pretty consistent unless they are toasted, for me 62. So if you are in a zinc penny heavy spot, with your ground balance and ground, you can choose to ignore that specific reading knowing there is a slim chance you'll miss a ring that hits in that same area. Also, you can do a coil pump over targets and listen for a grunt, just another way to weed out bad targets with the F75.
