How to make a Suncatcher

- I am creating a suncatcher for the September #4core challenge,
using unusual and easy to find items.

Please play along in the October Challenge,
with 4 core elements.
1. alter a clipboard (any size)
2. work in a vintage style with 2 or more vintage images
3. add at least 1 dimensional piece
4.Add a rhyme (readable)
Please send a photo ( or 2) of your finished piece to my e mail: inasolsbery@Gmail.com , during the month of October.
Please include your name..( or alias ) and name your message #4core October.
If you are a video creator and would like me to include your video link in my November #4core video, please send the link along with your photo.
Please add #4core to your video title.
I will answer every e mail I receive.

I love your sun catcher, covering it in small embroidery thread, holy cow, that is dedication to a piece!! All art submitted was great and I really loved the element of having them photographed outside. October will be fun! 😃

Your suncatcher was awesome! I would have pulled all of my hair out before I got all that yarn wrapped! LOL! As always, some really great entries. This month sounds like fun... I immediately thought of at least 3 different poems to use as inspiration.

The suncatcher definitely took some patience to put together. Taking the time to wrap it with yarn and then putting all the dangles together was worth it and really made it unique. It turned out beautiful !!

Holy cow, what a lot of work putting all the threats around the wire. But you are right, it is gorgeous. The new challenge is so much more my thing, and "wie es der Zufall will" I have a clipboard, just waiting since ages to be worked on. Btw, I hate rhymes. :))))
HA..I know you will find a way to deal with the rhyme issue..no doubt. Glad this challenge is up your alley. Thanks for enjoying my suncatcher. The thread was fiddly in parts, but making up my mind of what to use and how, took the longest. : )
Hi Ina! I am one of your subscribers. What size is that mixing ball that you used for this, it looks large. I went on amazon and they have different sizes. I love the way your suncatcher looks with it coiled out. Thanks
Thank you for watching my video. My mixing ball was a bit more than 2 inches in diameter, a pretty standard size. I hope you will find one that works for you..
PS. My hubby help me to pry open the ends in order to attach the beads ,the wire is very strong and needs muscle power to bend. Stretching it out is easy.
