We have a product with a very high percentage dust content, density ~200kg/m3 mixed with tramp ie stones of varying sizes, sand and possibly a few nails. Air blown through the mix would disperse the low density product into an unacceptable cloud.
Could effective separation be accomplished with vibration only if the residence time is increased ?

Thomas, unfortunately this is something we cannot do. The particle size that you have is too large for our equipment. If those particles can be broken down, smaller than 1cm, then it would be possible.
