Was 24 when I started listening to Ólafur, is now 28. Still as enticing as ever.
There is this contrast between the Melancholy spread from the music and the Humor that have Olafur, i don't know but this guy must permanently manage a huge amount of feelings inside of him. Such big energy!
I've been coming back here at least twice a year for the past 7 years.
Old skin is by far the most beautiful song that has been composed in Olafurs career.

I've been an Olafur Arnalds follower for months now, and their songs are endless pleasures. I've listened to them so often that I can remember each note of each song, it is like if the music comes more from my own self than from their instruments. They reached something they must never let go. Dear! Love these guys.
I can't get enough of Ólafur saying "Shit" & "Fuck"! Such a great contrast to the music! This man is such a Boss! I've got to find a way to get him to say "Cunt" now! LOL!

Both Arnor Dan and Olafur Arnalds are Icelandic. Arnor is in a popular rock band in Iceland called Agent Fresco. Olafur is in a melodic techno duo side project called Kiasmos.
