A heroic, powerful and pioneering film, that's puts today's safe, Woke and genetics treatments of the subject to shame.

Define “woke”. ‘Victim’ would’ve surely been considered the 1950s equivalent of woke in it’s day. Genetics? Genetic study is perfectly reasonable scientific inquiry. Why should sexuality be a forbidden avenue for it?
