It's Semana Santa / Easter and Jaco is ready to party on Good Friday, April 15, 2022. What better time for our first guided walking tour at night ! It's a very busy week with many national and international tourists visiting Jaco but it's all positive vibes, pura vida and good times as you will see as we walk through Jaco on the busiest night we have filmed so far on this channel. You definitely don't want to miss the street party that breaks out downtown !
We start our walk just a little before 11 p.m. on the north side of downtown on avenida Pastor Diaz and walk south. We take a moment to stop by the carnival games and vendors in Johannes Dankers park before heading over the bridge and along the east side of avenida Pastor Diaz.
Once we cross the bridge we start running into more and more people as restaurants are starting to close and bars are moving into 2nd (or maybe 3rd) gear. It feels like everyone is out and ready to have fun. Many people are hanging out on the street and in front of bars, walking, dancing, and having a great time.
There was a strong positive energy in town which seemed to build as we get deeper into the evening and reached a boiling point when a marching band took over Jaco's most central corner and a street party broke out. I hope you enjoy watching this video as much as I enjoyed being there.

@@senicawilson1637 Thanks for watching and I hope you enjoy your trip ! So far it's been good. We have had some occasional rains and one decent rainstorm Sunday night, but most days it's been overcast with sunny periods. I prefer it that way actuaily. It can get too hot sometimes in the 'summer' season.
Should mention the temperature occasionally 😉

How much us money would you recommend bringing $1,000?
Jaco is great to visit year round and this year it's been fairly busy even now that we are out of the high season.
It's hard to say what budget you should have as this depends on what you will be up to, if you are going to restaurants (and which type, there are options ranging from dirt cheap to expensive). Bring a bank card and you can take out whatever you need 🙂.
Lots of people manage to have a great time even on very small budgets. Many of the best parts of Jaco are cheap or free I e. Surfing, hiking, the beach, typical restaurants etc

We are going for a Bachelor and Bachelorett party.
We will be doing a club night, a Boat trip to Tortuga island as well 4 wheeler ride for a day.

@@derrickwilson6836 Bank cards work fine here and I generally recommend this over bring too much cash. Jaco is basically THE spot for these types of parties so you should be in good hands. Those trips are fairly 'classic' things to do around here as well.
