    what would be an alternative for the nylon thread size O- .15mm? I cannot find any at my local craft store and I am worried about getting something too thick or unworkable.

    • @BijuTeo
      @BijuTeo  2 года назад

      Hi, Isabel! Thank you for your question and your interest! You could definitely use fireline or wildfire instead of nylon thread - similar thickness - 0.14mm, 0.15mm or 0.16mm. These will work as well for this project. If you want to know more about what type of thread to choose, I have a special tutorial on this topic: ruclips.net/video/6ibqNyzDLF8/видео.html

      Hi, Dilia. Thank you for your interest and your question. Here in this video I use Nymo Nylon thread size 0=0.15mm, but I think size B=0.20 or size D=0.30mm will work too. I have full lists if materials in the description of my videos. Hope that helps. Happy beading, dear! 💖😃💕

      Thank you, dear Barbara, for your interest and comment. I am afraid I also can't say a lot about mandalla art. I think it comes from an ancient tradition and it represents the artist point of view about the universe. The variety of shapes are endless but they are always drawn in a circle. So everybody could create their own small version of the universe. 😁

    How you keep the string from coming off the needle ?

    • @BijuTeo

      Hi, dear. Some of my needles have a narrow eye and I need to squeeze my monofilament to go through it. After that it is easy to keep the string from coming off. I'm frustrated with myself. I started on this, got the first black circle, then keep messing up from there. Started over several times and don't know what I'm doing wrong. My hearing isn't great so somehow I'm missing exactly where you're putting the needle with the yellow black yellow. Are you going back one bead instead of always going forward? This is a beautiful design and I'm feeling like a dunce. I know you're busy making more, so I don't know if you can help me get on the right track.

      @@BijuTeo As for my enthusiasm....I'm going through a lot of stress, as are many people now. Little bits of glass are beautiful and enticing. Your videos are helping us to see the beauty in creativity. Two things people need now are nature and creativity. Many of us can't enjoy a walk in the park now because of the smoke from Canada. To see the beautiful artistic expression in your creations and even hearing your soothing voice walking us step by step through the process maybe more healing than you recognize. Even if we don't make any of these things, you're offering us a glimpse of something out of the ordinary, something to give us hope. It beats taking a pill!
