I am enjoing your adenvture, thank you for sharing. I have a queston about your tent: Is it a Hilleberg Akto? And If it is, what do you think of its overall performance? in the variety of terrain and weather you experienced? Thanks and I am looking forward to your future vids.
Hi Veronique, it indeed is a Hilleberg Akto. It's a strong and light tent. Mine is about 20 years old now. I replaced the elastic bands on the inner tent and the pole a year ago and i'm sure it will serve many years more. The tent is capable of handling most weather due to the strong fabric. It never leaks, it is pitchable very quick. It has enough space as well in the inner as in the outer tent for one traveling person. The only con I noticed is the fact that in strong winds the tent is not tight enough to prevent flapping. I think the other solo model of Hilleberg with two poles will do better, that one is heavier though. Good luck with your search. Hartger
Hi steven, i planned the route mysef in Basecamp and exported the gpx file to my iphone. I use te OSM app to navigate on my phone. My tires are indeed 3", and you definitely need that on the kungsleden.
You must be sponsored to title blogs with Surly? Otherwise why would we be interested in the particular brand you are riding. We can see that in the video.
Great video!! Really enjoyed watching it thank you!!!
The Kungsleden is magnificent. I have seen several videos of backpackers hiking the trail. You are a lucky man.
i enjoy your adventure
Nice - thanks!

Thanks for your comment. The use of Surly in the title is a way to get more views. A lot of people use ‘surly’ to search on YT. Happy rides!
