It's very bizarre that Europe has relatively recently lived through the collapse of Yugoslavia, the forced ethnic swaps in Greece and turkey, the separation of checkoslovakia, the forced removal of ethnic Germans from Poland and east Prussia, the ethnic partitioning of Austria Hungary and most of these happened between people who look relatively similar with relatively similar histories but different cultures. Now I'm supposed to believe that sub Saharan African people and Arabs, who for the most part seem to actually despise European culture, are going to make European culture better?

    • @tomgu2285

Yeah okay man. Yugoslavia is a horrible example. Yugoslavia broke up because of many reasons. But not because of "different culture". It broke up because people in Yugoslavia thought they are different which we aren't. And culture is a horrible example. Serbs in banja luka have a different culture then from serbs who live in Eastern herzegovina. But both are serbs. So yeah...

      A) its not in too high numbers

France broke both these rules, they enmasse imported people from regions they themselves devastated like libya.
Places like niger were robbed blind and had puppet leaders installed, making places unstable leads to mass illegal immigration and causes people to not be a civil as you would like.
An immigrant from saudi arabia will be much better behaved than an immigrant from another arab country that was invaded for various reasons such as war causing ptsd and weakening morals.

@@chipcook5346 I think both the assessment and description of the US is wrong. Firrslty it's not the only country that successfully assimilated immigrants, you have at least all main anglophone countries plus Argentina and Uruguay, and maybe arguably Brazil, Chile, Cuba and Malaysia (although the first three were way less immigrants in number and the last it's arguable how successfully). Other "success stories" include chinese migration in the Philippines and Thailand, which were so seemlessly assimilated people hardly even know about it. I'm sure if I took a bit longer I could think of other examples (19th century France and Switzerland received a lot of immigrants, etc).
Anyway, I also disagree with the prospect that was mentioned that current assimilation in the US is less than in the past. Linguistic assimilation is visibly happening, and that is still following the three generation form that the italians and germans did in the past. Most contemporary immigrants in the US (central american and mexican) indeed have more in common with the subtract population of the parts of the US they go too than most great wave immigrants ever did. So there's that.
Finally I think you forgot the role of distance. The US is shielded by nature and this it receives people who elect to go there historically, even their refugees have more or an immigrant mentality. That's not necessarily the case for Europe, where people can arrive more easily. There are also cultural traits and even political ideas that impact assimilation positively or negatively. I think the picture is more complex than just a land grab, as for example land wasn't offered to immigrants in Argentina and there assimilation was basically total and if anything larger in the cities.

I agree that it is very hard (probably impossible) to really melt into the north-western society. I can tell as a Pole living several years in Norway (I suppose other Nordic countries are similar). I was working in the hospital, almost exclusively with native Norwegians and despite speaking quite fluently Norwegian, I wasn't able to start any friendship there. It is true that I was treated fair, everyone was smiling a lot and there was plenty of "hyggelig", politically correct small talk. That's it. Any kind of relationship after work. It was dificult to thrive this way so I started to look for friends outside the workplace. I've found SAPS (Stavanger Active People Society) consisted exclusively of immigrants from all over the world (majority of them from Eastern Europe). What else was striking, there were no muslims in SASP. They've just sticked together with other muslims only. In other words - there were three, completely different communities there - Norwegians, non muslim imigrants and muslim imigrants.

And while brining in immigrants to live those lives in Europe instead. Its a terrible way for its old people to treat its young people.

History gives us several examples where this could go that I think are quite realistic:
    1. Lebanon. Looses any cohesion and becomes de facto devided into ethno-religious enclaves periodically fighting each other.
    2. South Africa. Contrary to Lebanon the country is still in one piece (SO FAR) but society becomes split up into heavenly segregated communities (that's likely the pre stage to the Lebanon scenario, SA is less and less of a functional country every day and various armed groups, like security forces number more than police and military combined, which is a huge red flag)
    2. The ethno cultural majority consolidates around some shared idea (likely stuff like being white or being Muslim ect.) and forces other groups to conversion or exiles them.
I think that, for western and central Europe, the last two are most likely over the long run. At some point the wealth of nations like Germany ect will nose dive significantly (since they are doing very little to maintain it, just look up for german politics to understand that.), which will inevitably destroy the apathetic culture towards these problems.
I think that nations such as Spain, Italy, France (still has a quite nationalistic culture) are likely to go the third way, meanwhile I see countries like Sweden or England (likely without Scotland and Northern Ireland at this point.) could well go the south african scenario.
I predict a future, where large parts of southern/Latin Europe as well as post communist central/eastern Europe consolidate around some kind of new ideology, which will likely lead to migration of more native Europeans there, effectively making these the new centers of the region, meanwhile I think that germanic countries will decline greatly (Germany, Sweden, England).
As for who will actually win if both sides (natives and migrants) will go even remotely all in, it's clearly the natives: they have the countryside, control over the infrastructure, like electricity, water and food supply, as well as as making up most of the police and, especially, the military. A fight of the immigrants VS. natives and respective loyalists for let's say France would look like this: radicalized immigrant youths get besieged in Paris and Marseille ghettos (by land area they are not that large compared to the rest of these cities), till they surrender or these areas get stormed, ending in a bloodbath. In return terrorist organizations might organize bombings or something (not enough to win a war)...
Also keep in mind that countries like Italy or Greece are only that dysfunctional, because EU northern European subsidies are allowing their political class to behave that way. If German money dries up they will likely go into nationalist dictatorships, shoot boats in the water, get energy supplies via war ect. (Greece, for example, has a bad financial policy but a military more prepared to fight (and a population to support it) than Germany, which, in times of trouble, is far more important).

@@marysia5365 Yust like east asia, by facing it face on. I think that every country will develop differently, but here are some guesses: low birthrate mean an end of economic growth, future generation will likely get used to it. Some will profit from it. Places like Poland or Czechia, for example will absorb most of the available people from eastern Europe (maybe with some immigration from Latin America), but countries in the slavic-orthodox east and the balcans will, for the most part, have no such options, as they are way to unappealing. Populations will collapse, the economy in the cities will decline, reruralization will take place, new ideologies will take hold, likely based upon the importance of children and small town community, some countries might desintegrate entirely, Russia most likely. Im almost sure, that, over the next 50 years or so, places like Ukraine, Belarus, Russia, Bulgaria ect will see their populations collapse several fold (this is a exponential process, most projections don't count in, that, if you have two pensioneers for every one in their 20s, these young people will flee in unheard of masses). These will be the "fuel" for the new core nations for the forseeable future. Also, many of these countries will fall to pro natalist right wing dictatorships, likely running on an ageist young vs old campaign. Much of the current value system will die, replaced by new belive structures (likely, at first, a white homeland, nativist, secular nationalist form of right wing ideology). I thing chances are high that most of the orthodox world will desintegrate and, through a painful process, slowly become a fronteer region, being assimilated into whatever the rest of Europe turns into. Orthodox culture will slowly die. I, honestly, think that the future of Europe is fundamentally non Christian, becoming, together with East Asia, a lab for totally new ideologies, but that's another topic.

You can prove there is a migration crisis, you can prove there are low birth rates, you can prove these birth rates are economically/socially linked. They talk about exhaustion, about a loss in traditionalism, and religious beliefs. They dance around the issue and NEVER dare speak out about the cause.
It isn't some shadow cabal. It isn't some grand conspiracy. It's the baby boomers and Gen X last hurrah before they clock out. This is what they deem just and good. This is doctrine of self hate they inflicted on their children for decades. They inherited global prosperity from the sacrifices of their forebears, did NOTHING but exploit their gift, and when that ran out they mortgaged their children's futures.
A Generation of Sociopaths by Bruce Gibney details this in America. It applies doubly so for EU.

Not, it's a sloppily researched book with many obvious mistakes. For example, he constantly equals non white immigration to Muslim immigration. That is just embarrassingly wrong. He insinuates, everyone not native from Europe coming to Europe is a Muslim. That is a lie by omission.
He also is guilty of framing, e.g. when he translates the survey question "Gehört der Islam nicht zu Deutschland?" as "Does Islam not belong in Germany"? The actual question means "Does Islam not belong to Germany"?, as in "Should it not play a role in German reality?" and the other means "Does Islam not belong in Germany"?, i.e. "Do you wish Islam would not exist in Germany?"
That is an important difference to an important question and just goes to show he is sloppy as he builds his argument of huge popular opposition to Islam around a wrongly translated question. And of course this is no coincidence. It is used to increase the power of his argument which becomes pretty worthless through this obvious and very relevant mistake.

With current ethnic composition of western Europe in which you can clearly see who is your “tribe”, there is a great danger of all hell breaking loose if bad times arrive. Another factor to consider with mexican migration to the US is that mexicans are being increasingly being classified as "white" because most of them are white(not 100% but mostly)
They usually are Christian, and extremely eager to integrate into the american culture. I had a friend whose parents were mexican immigrants, they spoke broken english with an accent meanwhile their daughter spoke english as her first language(she did speak spanish at home)
Whatever you want to call it, America has been pretty damn good with integration of these immigrants into american society.
Also another point to note is, hispanics are not a radically different culture to american culture while african and middle eastern culture is radically different to that of europe.

    Hi. I live in Sweden.
I think few factors drive the current situation in Sweden:
    - The Social Democratic Party has ruled much of the past decades. Its policies are primarily driven by ideology (in this case, solidarity). I.e., not a fact-based consequences' analysis - which is per se adorable in urgent crises. With the result of a massive influx from Middle Eastern conflict zones.
    - Swedish politicians cannot discuss these topics without being accused of being racist, being hammered by the media, and losing popularity votes in the next election, thus avoiding the issue.
    - The ultra-right-wing nationalistic party (Swedish Democrats) thus gets fuel (now almost the second-largest party) from the people who believe no one listens. They would be utterly unnecessary if politicians had addressed the issues at hand.
    Cheers.

People are generally reasonable, but when your ideology means you refuse to deal with a situation or flat out deny there is a problem, the politics force people to to the right, and further to the right as it becomes apparent that is the only way to try and get any political traction against existing left/liberal/progressive policies that are just digging the hole deeper. When the scramble for Africa started they were so unprepared and it happened so fast that even the mightiest empires fell in short order. From what I understand, the Roman conquest involved great depopulation followed by a demographic boom and the emergence of the Gallo-Roman, the Latinized Celts, the Germanic invasions on the other hand changed the profile of the elites, the aristocracy tended to be more ethnically Germanic, The great phenomenon in France was Paris's centralizing efforts to erode regional identities, a more cultural process with a linguistic focus.
However, there are some exceptions, in the works of Alexis de Tocqueville, he speaks of how Normandy gave a foreign impression, with the region closer to England and Protestant Germanic Europe in certain socio-cultural aspects and political culture; I also saw certain reports from the occupying German forces during ww2 reporting this fact.

35:00 minutes of the video: I live in Vancouver, British Columbia Canada. The population of the city is 47% European descent but many of the people of European descent are new emigrants and still carry on with their language and culture in everyday life. On my daily walks downtown you hear people talking dozens of foreign languages and I even hear French more than English some days. While I was a student and still today, each ethnic group sit together in the classroom and at the lunch tables regardless if they have an English name or not. I'm not saying there isn't integration of people having coffee etc but in general people hangout with their own ethnic descent even 2nd and 3rd generations. Every part of Greater Vancouver has ethnic enclaves. As far as white flight there are many different reasons. My grandparents retired and moved out of the city for a more rural lifestyle and to supplement their retirement with cheaper real estate. Not long after we wanted to be close to them so we moved too. I feel white people are being blamed for everything as now with young professionals moving back into the inner-city we're being blamed for gentrification. White people seem to be damned if they do and damned if they don't. Indian's vote nearly 100% for an Indian politician not for their policies but because he/she is also Indian. Magyarization was in the 1800's. Meanwhile House Habsburg gained control as early as the 1400's.
As you well know, Divide and Conquer is a general term for sowing discord to gain power. _One_ of the ways of doing that, is the technique of inviting a third party for dinner, such as when the Habsburgs invited competing ethnicities into Hungary in order to marginalize the Magyar nobility.
Either way, it's just an example; a parable to make you learn and see patterns where you didn't before, so you can use it to better understand the current situation.
What I'm trying to explain here, is that this way of Divide and Conquer isn't new. In fact, we're seeing it right now, and _that's_ the reason for why we have mass unwanted immigration into formerly ethnically homogenic nations in Europe.
The political reason for doing it, is in order to marginalize the current native populations and nations. The reason is obviously outside pressure from institutions like the EU and UN.
Meanwhile the economic reason is also obvious: Because it puts pressure on the labour market to ensure lower wages, while at the same time putting pressure on the real estate market to ensure higher housing prices for the owners.
Cui bono: Each time there is one special demography that seems to benefit: The top elite, because they can sell or rent out their houses for _higher prices,_ and because they can get work done in their factories or service ships for _lower prices._

I'm a third generation muslim immigrant in France who has also worked a bit as an engineer in the US, Ireland and Switzerland, and your analysis is honestly spot on.
Save for a fact that I personally think is worth mentioning: Muslim immigrants will justify a lot of their personal or cultural beliefs with religion, but more often than not, there is nothing in the religion that actually backs up what they think.
As a muslim you are actually encouraged to either abide by the rule of the king of the country you live in (that you obviously interpret as the democratically elected government nowadays) or leave, yet Muslims in Europe will find all kinds of loopholes in the religion to justify their behavior.
You are obligated to keep good relationship with your neighbors and NURTURE that relationship (i.e. interact with them in a positive manner and frequently enough) yet Muslims in Europe are completely shut off from the rest of the community and usually just develop their own micro-biome that eventually become ghettos in big city suburbs, and, as the Quran verse says very clearly, you should not enforce your religion upon others, yet look at terrorism.
The reality here is that most of the issues come from the fact that they come from countries that are completely backwards ideologically and have failed to keep up with the advancements of the rest of the world, their societies are hyper patriarchal and authoritarian, in which women have been trained to be submissive and to be proud of it, and men can do whatever the hell they want, which more often than not transgresses the religious principles they claim to abide by.
I personally deplore the state of my diaspora, there are many of us who try to make things better, but recently the majority started migrating to Asian and American countries, me included, because the quality of Muslim communities there is just incomparable to our disastrous situation here.
I can very much feel that I will soon be unwanted by the country I was born in, and I do not feel any remnant of connexion with the muslim diaspora anymore, I gave up completely.
Ever since I worked in the US, I got to meet Muslims there, and many of them share a similar background as me. Muslims In America are high achiever, have high income families and are more educated than the average American, I don't see why I would want to go back to Europe. This video is doing great so far. Thank you all for watching and for your kind words of praise! I will try to work on the pronunciation and intonation!
But I need to address certain issues appearing in the comment section since some of the comments are really unhinged. I won't delete any comments, but I want to clarify that I denounce and disagree with the following:
Giving too much weight to research regarding IQ and race since it leads to very ugly rabbit holes and is just an evil way to evaluate people. If IQ is so important, why wouldn't you measure the IQ of the population of your country and expel the low-IQ people?
Anti-semitism and the notion that the "Jews" are behind everything. Even if I ignore that it is foolish to think that they would wield the power to influence world affairs in such a matter, why would they do it? How does, for example, the state of Israel benefit from the pro-Palestine stance of Europe? How is it in the interest of Jews to increase anti-semitism in France so that the Jews emigrate to Israel? Jews are not a monolith. Sure, some Jewish people promote globalist secularist liberal values, but there also are conservative nationalist Jews and everything in between.
Obviously, and I am somewhat surprised I even have to write it, any manifestations of neonazism. If Hitler had won, as some people in the comments suggest, my people and many other Central and Eastern European peoples I hold dear would not be here. Eastern European Neonazi is an oxymoron; I am an Untermensch according to Nazis.
    Any calls to violence.
As for the Great Replacement Theory, I already spoke about it in the video about the Great Demographic Implosion (part II). While it is just a mathematical fact that in certain countries, for example Germany, every year the number of people that dies, mostly ethnic natives, are balanced off by immigrants so the population and the workforce do not decline, I sincerely do believe that it is not some grand conspiracy by the elites or "the Jews" or whatever. It is a combination of, in my opinion, not well-thought-out policies, conformism, and lack of political courage. But the world is not a place that can be governed in the way people believe conspiracy theories think it can be managed. It is mostly chaos, an intersection of hundreds of interests, events, and incidents. Assuming that it is all run by some nefarious elites in the background gives us a certain sense of peace by believing that it is all governed by someone. It is not. The truly scary reality is that nobody runs anything; it is a train without an engine driver.

To address your question: "How is it in the interest of Jews to increase anti-semitism in France so that the Jews emigrate to Israel?"
While it isn't the case for all Jews, a minority of them, such as Ingrid Lomfors and Barbara Spectre - both from the same parish, btw - are in agreement that making Europe a worse place for Jews is fulfilling the prophecies of the Torah, whereupon all Jews will return home to the Promised Land.
This is ofc cringe religious superstition, but now you know why this minority of Jews work for a Europe that is actually worse for European Jews. Not all Jews like this idea, however, and many want to be able to live on in Europe without risking life and limb on every corner store.
Just as an example, my friend wore a shirt with a band logo reminiscent of the Star of David to the local store in Oslo. Then some obviously Middle Eastern guy just calmly said to him, "I hate Jews!"
Baffled we asked him why, and then my friend got into an argument with him - which we quickly ended, because more people were massing in. It simply wasn't safe having that sort of conversation, in our own native country.

The idea that you can force peoples of different races and ethnicities to form a nation state goes against the most fundamental characteristics of the human species, it is literally the reason why nation states formed in the first place. One‘s race and ethnicity are integral parts of one‘s identity and cannot be removed or adjusted through 'integration'. And humans prefer to live with, be surrounded by and interact with other humans of the same race, people that look like them. This is well understood. Much in the way Eagles don‘t hang out with pigeons or other birds. All this is rooted in Marxist ideology where one can simply erase human biology, completely disregard human nature and simply mold, reconfigure and reshape human beings to one‘s liking.
The whole thing spells disaster and that‘s exactly what we‘re seeing happen in France and other places today. It will eventually results in a reversion to a time on Earth when there were hundreds and thousands of microstates, tribes and clans etc; definitely not the neo-Marxist 'workers of the world, unite' (which they did not) vision of a 'global community' composed of 'global citizens' or whatever.

Your post stands head and shoulders over the vast majority of these posts due to its coherence, logic, and common sense. This drive to create countries with wide disparities between races, cultures and religions, is an artifice of the highest order. They are trying to achieve harmonious societies with individuals, families, and the larger public, who do not only not resemble each other, but do not share the same beliefs, culture, or values. All held together by the thin mesh of of democratic governance. The West is destroying ethnicities and cultures by emphasizing diversity and inclusion, and open borders. They are hell bent on eradicating the indigenous people of Europe and European descent. This is being aided by the fact that Europeans and those of European descent, are either having fewer children, or no children at all. In short, whites are contracepting themselves out if existence. Hence the looming shadow of replacement. I agree, that Europe must remain Europe. No one is asking, nor suggesting to China, that it should import mass numbers of people who are not Han Chinese, so the country can be more, "diverse."

You can easily dominate/conquer small microstates (tribes). I do feel there has been a strong push lately for some form of United States of Europe from Brussel. In order to accomplish this you must destroy the strong tribal ethicities in European countries. Only then can you promise unification under something "better". I see it quite bizarre how certain European countries resort to mass migration as the single method to resolve their demographic problem without considering potential long-term impacts. What's worse in most platforms this topic is considered racist and therefore banned from public debates. It is not going to end well for either the native Europeans nor the immigrates as in some countries ethnic groups are bound to end up in riots and conflicts in the near future. Europe is already lagging behind North America and East Asia in technology advancement which will cause major economic and social problems, if ethnic clashes become the norm Europe will for sure turn into 3rd world.

This was such an insightful video. I am mixed european (dutch) and these issues and topics require so much nuance. When having conversations about this people often reduce the topic to short-sighted and uninformed comments. Big up to Kaiser for explaining not only that these issues with migration exist, but also the how and why. Getting a clear picture as to why these immigrations are happening and why they are failing to integrate on a large population scale is so enlightening.
In the Netherlands its hard to have these conversations. Immigrants (or their kids) often feel unwelcome in the countries they live in, mostly due to economic and cultural segregation instigated by their hosts (Kaiser explained this in the video). As someone with a unique perspective into both foreign and native ethnicities I notice that Dutch people can easily figure out migration is a "problem" but find it hard to identify or admit the main causes behind the failed integration, something the natives also have a very big hand in. Netherlands was eager to import these people when they could make money off their backs, but preferably wanted to cast them out after the money was made and the labour was done. You cannot have your cake and eat it too.
Even I, as someone who has lived in The Netherlands my whole live, speak the native language and know dutch history thoroughly (No offense, but often in much more detail than my homogenous ethnical dutch countrymen) and I still get strange looks in more rural villages and sometimes still have to deal with racism and fear (probably stemming from that heavy tribal mentality that Kaiser explained) of my skin color from my fellow dutch people. This is not the norm however, and I have these encounters usually with more elderly people. But it still occurs.
As someone who was raised in one of such ghettos described in Amsterdam, and later lived the dutch village life in a more rural village, I've seen both sides. I agree, integration of immigrant groups has had some serious struggles here and both ethnic groups (native dutch) and (immigrants) have an "Us vs them" mentality (not all but its definitely there). I sometimes feel that dutch people, possibly due to the tribal history, but definitely also due to an imperial/colonial cultural superiority complex have a high cultural insensitivity. Many find it hard to be respectful or mindful of foreign cultures, causing further rifts between immigrant and native communties. You can see this in dutch travel behavior when they're on holiday too. Dutch people can be very rude and culturally unaware when visiting other countries because they don't want to adapt.

Excuses. Nobody complains about Korean and Vietnamese immigrants. If immigrants can't integrate in western fucking Europe it's all on them not wanting to. So much I'd done for them. Yes I think the video is quite flawed in several ways but still touches on some very interesting points. In fairness, the poster was limited by the way in which statistics are collected in the case studies/countries. He admits that Indian Hindus are typically well off in Britain and Pakistani Muslims tend to not integrate as well as other immigrants. I for one think this has less to do with culture and more so with class. The muslim lawyer from Islamabad, Pakistan will be a more productive and better integrated immigrant than a hindu social worker without university education from rural India.
In short, the demographic "crisis" in Europe may be driven by "undesirable" immigrants. But they are not undesirable because of their skin colour or religion. They are undesirable because of their social standing in their respective countries (this indirectly ties in with the Islamic fundementalism discussed in the video - as the partiarchical and fundementalist tendencies are not as prevelant in the upper middle classes). Europe will need immigration in the long run to make up for its ageing/declining population. But the immigrants ought to be economically productive and willing to integrate. The best way to do this is to import the urban, educated, elite from the Global South. If America can bring in hundred of thousands of highly skilled Indian and Chinese tech professionals, I do not see why Britiain or Germany can't do the same. There is no shortage of them and oppurtunity in Europe remains higher than in India and China currently.

So it wasn’t up-to-date and that isn’t even considering if the source was objective
I’ve already explained the difference in why birthrates were high in the past in Europe and the difference between that and African birthrates today. In Sub-Saharan Africa the major factors driving high birthrates in these countries include low contraceptive use, high adolescent fertility rates and a prevalence of polygamous marriages (and sadly in some places also due to very high rap3 rates, like Líberia for example where the estimate is 70%to 80% of wømen have been rap3d. Supposedly this trend in Libería has reversed but if I was female I still wouldn’t go there).
When you say they are going down, that data is recently and only small percentage overall. However, the rates in comparison to much of the rest of the world are very high. Also, like I said, we aren’t seeing families coming into most of Europe, it’s over 90% military aged males.

But the truth is we are rapidly losing our culture, values and connection with each other. Integration of immigrants has been massively unsuccessful, where many immigrants group up together in schools and in neighbourhoods. Many people don’t even speak Dutch anymore. Western values which originated from the enlightenment are also being threatened by a dogmatic religion which doesn’t tolerate any form of criticism, and has actually led to terrorism already. Then there’s also the fact that statistically immigrants are proportionately responsible for much more criminal behaviour than those of Dutch origin. We should stand strong and not be afraid to be proud of our nation and culture 🇳🇱🌷❤.

It's a mistake to attribute the open door policies of the last 50 years to any particular political position. These policies have had bipartisan support from parties across the political spectrum. While many on the Left may engage in apologetics for these policies they are not who is driving them. As always it is big business that decides the direction a nation takes, and mass immigration is no exception. While the demographic arguments for immigration have merit (low birth rates are a big problem), it is economic considerations at the heart of it. Since the West started hollowing out their economies by offshoring everything they could get away with (and particularly decimating manufacturing) the economies there have been undergoing structural deflation and negative growth. Mass immigration is used to offset and hide this, as quickly growing the population grows the economy. More customers for business maintains demand, helping the service sectors of economies grow. Another reason for the big business lobby to pursue this is to undermine the bargaining power of workers. This is the reason wages have not kept up with either inflation or productivity growth over the past 40-50 years (worse in some countries over others). Pretty much all of the economic growth in the West since Globalization started has been a product of population growth, fuelled by immigration.
On Muslim immigration, the West has to be very careful what kinds of Muslims it lets in. There are some branches and sects of Islam that are fundamentally incompatible with secular society. Wahhabism and Salafism are two big examples. These are extremist sects that advocate for the creation of a global Islamic caliphate under Sharia law. They are the religious groups responsible for Al Qaeda and ISIS (Wahhabism is also the state religion of Saudi Arabia). They believe apostates (people who leave the faith), among other people, should be executed. The example in the video showing 30% of Muslim respondents saying terrorism was justified in some circumstances tells you what you are inviting into your country when you import these types of Muslim (not all Muslims are extreme, many are even secular). All immigrants who hold religious views should be made to swear support for secularism in the public and government spheres, and declare that they agree the legal system of their adopted country supersedes all religious law, and that religious law is void and unenforceable in their new country.
Having watched large scale immigration unfold in my country over the last 50 years my main observation is this: Assimilation takes time. A group of migrants may never fluently speak the local language, and they may maintain many of their original customs, but their children will be much more integrated. They go to local schools, learn the local language from a young age, and interact with other types of people through school and other activities. They may grow up with a foot in both worlds, but they will be adapted to and understand the local culture. After two generations people are generally fully assimilated. What can get in the way of this though is the creation of exclave ghettos where people of the same origin dominate an area exclusively. This inhibits integration, as instead of new migrants being forced to adapt to a new environment they can just recreate their old one in a new location. Migrants living in communities like this can go their whole lives barely interacting with the native population. Denmark is on the right track in limiting neighbourhoods to 30% max of any one ethnicity.
Lastly, on the subject of skilled migration. Believe it or not, Western countries importing skilled migrants from the developing world are exacerbating refugee crises and increasing the number of economic migrants. As the West skims all of the smartest and most able people from other countries, luring them in with more money, they completely undermine the ability of those countries to improve and develop. They stay poor and under developed because they don't have enough skilled or educated people who could form the basis of a middle class, and who could build a more advanced economy and society. This then encourages more poor people from those countries to try and migrate to rich countries. If the West was serious about helping the developing world, and if they want to ever see the end of waves of poor people knocking on their door, the would stop poaching the developing worlds best people. They would invest more in education and train their own doctors and engineers.

"As always it is big business that decides the direction a nation takes"
This is as an absurd statement to make about the Ponzi-scheme states of Western Europe, especially Germany which is literally destroying it's industrial economy in a pathetic attempt at 'net-zero.'
Regardless, mass immigration does not grow the economy period - as clearly proven by the current state of the Eurozone and how it has fared since 2013 when mass migration began in earnest. In fact, migrants are a dependent group that serve as little more than a net drain on the finances of the state. Slightly less than half of all council estates in London are occupied by foreigners and the Dutch government recently revealed that it has blown more than 400 billion euro on migrants in the last 25 years.

I feel like leftist talking points weren't addressed here. The massive uneven exchange between the global north and south was brushed off as "the cruel lottery of where one has been born". The north also blocks any attempts at nation building, and it's countless incursions into the South's development throughout the 20th century are a major cause of migration.
This of course doesn't mean change in the ethnical composition of a population won't bring negative effects, (social unrest even) - but we must consider the fact that our cherised ethnostates and individualistic, christian, social democracy loving culture is a product of just a few decades (to 1-2 centuries at best), sprinkled in with some genocide, forced relocations, uneven treaties and civil wars. Some people suggest that the current state of our nations are the exception, not the norm, and we should be more open minded.
Although I don't really subsribe to these ideas, and certainly don't think that they negate the utter lack of social negotiation from policymakers; but they are important ideas to confront nevertheless.

The global south is where it is because of low IQ and geography.
We owe them nothing. Also why should we (the global north) care? This video is addressing our people. We dont need the approval of the south.

    • @FOLIPE
      @FOLIPE Год назад

Whether you should be open minded is secondary, the point is that this situation would brew such inequalities that lead to the current european issues regardless. It's similar to the argument about democracy in israel: when you are an apartheid state, how do you keep democracy? The state is already fundamentally undemocratic by having to enforce apartheid. Yet apartheid itself heightens tensions, inequalities, demographic troubles, violence and conflit etc that lead to a path where this contradiction is solved only by further opening up/democratization which means dealing with the Palestine issue (and even then it has long term legacies afterwards) or by becoming more authoritarianism as we are seeing now in Israel. The alternative is jugging around in this contradictory state for as long as one can, but the situation might well become unsustainable with time when you least expect. When it comes to nation states, it's similar for Europe, but originally only at an external level - no wonder they left their colonies exactly when the alternative was giving colonized peoples the right to vote. The most obvious case perhaps were Algeria and Portugal (as soon as they decided they didn't want a dictatorship, independencies were given automatically).

Your analysis is accurate. It's sad more then anything to witness Europe's downfall. I think you explained very well why immigration works differently in Europe and the USA. Its so frustrating that people don't get a say regarding their own lives in democracies, no less, and when they do speak out they get scolded and accused of being racist by privileged people who will never suffer the consequences of these policies. You mentioned the Lebanonazation process. Seams people forget what extreme diversity and cultural differences can do to a country. I'm not a European, but I do love Europe, I wish it's not to late for that beautiful continent.

My parents are immigrants and even I think that mass immigration is terrible for Europe. Especially those that immigrate illegally. My dad's nephew keeps trying to ask him ways to get to Europe illegally. He's so pathetic honestly. My dad keeps telling him to study and do something good with his life but he won't listen lol. So we cut contact with him. Also, I hate the way that the people that immigrate here from my parent's country often have backwards views, don't assimilate well and have to shove Islam down people's throats all the time. I'm an atheist and I hate Islam lol. So seeing all these Muslims immigrate here is just worrying.
Also I hate that people are usually on two different extremes:
    1. Racists that think no immigrants should be allowed in at all.
    2. Leftist woke people who think any and all immigrants should be allowed in.

I would say for one, European countries especially Western european nations and the US should stop meddling in Middle eastern and African national affairs. If you aren't responsible for their current wellbeing then I don't see the point to why you'd have to take them in as refugees.
If you do want immigrants, why not allow only the ones who are willing to assimilate or are highly skilled individuals. I am sure there would be plenty of people who would want to move into Europe and assimilate instead of forcing their ideology upon the natives.
Europe should stop meddling and accepting refugees and focus on their identity first. This is one of the reason why Eastern Europe is still a lot better compared to Western Europe.
