This sucks guys! I enjoyed talking to each and everyone of you guys that were able to find us working in the pits till the last minute! We will be pulling both the Deathtrap motor and Phoenix and see where we stand. Again, we appreciate all the love and support!
Hey did you have any contact with the Goonzquad boys while you were there? They have a frame machine.
You have my support and subscription
That was one hell of a burnout! Subbed
@@davefroman4700 split second. Luckily it didn't bend the frame!
@@fredstone3875 thanks fred!
Bigger pad is needed!!!
At least for us crazy wild mofos! I want to put on a show like Lynchy and others! We are getting some of the most badass people at these events and your the guy that can make it happen and grow to be one of the biggest sports in America! Hell ya Brother! 🤘🇺🇸
we want a perfect rectangle. get the dimensions of australia. we are here for smoke and tire pops!
@@kaenstark5156 Australia isn't a perfect rectangle. They have little boxes and tip in areas too. It's about driver skill too. Anyone can just get into a big square and mash the pedal to the floor till the tires come off.
Most Aussies run sedan style cars not long bed trucks 😂
Aussie pads are generally sizes of a intersections.....it's were skids started on the road......that pad was too technical for learners
I'm a new subscriber .love these old 67-79 Ford trucks.your trucks are my favorite burn out vehicles in America. .way better looking than Killa bee or toast .that burn out was wicked.dont worry tho .you can always find a new front clip and frames can be straightened
Thanks for subbing! No frame damage thankfully! Pry just get another fender and grille and should be good. Pull the bumper or I have others. Again appreciate the comment
@@BoostedRide your welcome and keep up the good work and great content.again that green smoke was badass
Great footage and youll be back better then ever. That green smoke you displayed in a short time was simply amazing.looking forward to rebuild series youll be back better then ever.
The colored smoke tires are crazy! Almost any tire the deathtrap destroyes!!
That truck is badass thanks for coming brother you will be back stronger than ever 💪
No doubt! Thank you!
Putting in the work big time, 3 rigs getting ready all the time and effort top notch guys 👌👌 didn't get the results your after but still were there doing it... to think a couple years ago burnouts were static boring... now your toe to toe with a seasoned and tested aussie built Killa B.. your gunna run the leader board once there's an official burnout masters season of competitions! Congratulations on the effort, best looking best sounding truck there, even the big boys in aussie destroy their rigs, ain't nothing new fender n some wrap 😉
Hell ya thanks man! I appreciate the kind words! Ls will get looked over and be back with even more power before it even makes its first skid! Deathtrap will be back like you said and Jason will continue to improve in the camaro as well! Thanks again man!
I was heartbroke right along with you in that instant. Great attitude! I'd've been sick for a week on this, if it were me.
It sucks for sure! Old truck are getting hard to come but and if panels are available they are spendy

First video I have watched from you guys, and I'll say it was a hell of a show!
Thanks steven!!
@@BoostedRide look forward to the rebuild!
Rough stuff, looks like you've got a winner once you toughen up the corners of the truck. That smoke was INSANE. Loved the colors.
I have a few wins under my belt just wished those barricades were moved back out as I use those to guide my moves and couldn't see they were back and t boned the other one 🤦
@@BoostedRide yeah a dude in a bobcat pushing walls back in place is definitely needed
that pit was wayyYYYY too small but death trap was killin it bro !!!!

I don't want to smash this thing up like those other guys. CRUNCH!!! Famous last words, the truck is sweet, and you guys put on a good show.
Exactly my thought editing lol sucks
That was insane, nice work guys
Thanks man!
I actually cringed when you hit the wall and saw how much damage there was. That truck was 100% the best looking vehicle of the night!👍
Thanks for putting on a show for us. I hope to see it at a Cleetus & Cars burnout event again.👍😁
Ya bummer for sure! I'll fix it up for another! Appreciate it!
I was there and the crowed went wild for the green smoke you all did awsome and your day is coming to b king of the burn outs lol a lot of tuff competition in there now 👍
Thanks Ron! Next time!!
you are up there with the best keep on doing it!!
Thank you!
Keep your head up. You guys put on a great show. Rebuild and burn rubber brother
Hell ya! We absolutely will!!
Dude, you just barely hooked the edge of the wall. Sucks but it's a burnout truck. Slap a fender on it and straighten the bumper and you're good to go. Keep sending it! 💪💪 Jason did great in the Camaro too. Don't know how he was able to breathe. 😆
Lmao we need to patch all the dang rust holes!!
@@BoostedRide 🤿 💨💨
Dude, that was a real bummer. 😳 Great call on not running Phoenix.
You guys were killing it, didn't get discouraged. Thanks for the Video's. 🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆

Great run best looking rig of the night!! Great smoke and the horsepower 🤤Please don’t let this impact you coming out to another cleetus and cars!! The events will only get better I’m sure their next burn-out pad will be bigger!!

A+++ for efforts boys. Definitely gained a follower through this one.

I somehow missed this burnout. Glad you got your video up so I could watch. I only had like 4 hours of sleep before the show, and I feel asleep at some point. Lol
Lol we were up for like 40hrs straight glad you stopped by to check out the video!
@@BoostedRide I was very much looking forward to seeing you guys as I've been following since the fire. But next thing I knew, I looked up and seen the "live stream has ended". I was pissed at myself.
@@BoostedRide Hey, you wouldn't happen to know what happened to the LTD parked next to you would you? You also followed it out after the burnouts.
Also love the way you put in reverse didn't miss a beat reminds me of the panel van "butcher " motorvation is our summernats and he was legendary for reverse burnouts probably about 10years ago
Sketchy as hell but I have confidence in my equipment granted anything can happen. I just wanted to put on an amazing show!
The guy I was referring to was Glen butcher who was a great gearbox technician on turbo 400 and he would smash reverse about 5 times in a burnout comp on nitrous and never blew up every body tried it and blew their gearboxes. By the looks of things a bit of bending and a new front quarter panel and u will never know. For Jason car sounds funny to do it but we usually use that spray filling in a can to fill the rust holes and spray it with shot Crete in the wheel arches because tyres are brutal
Cheap and easy
@@scottnewington1907 exactly what we were thinking!
I must have done a
1000 tyres and my car is 14years old i run a Holden 304 with a 250 shot of nos and I have been trying to kill it but she never dies
Man What a Tip in!!
That wall came out of nowhere.
So many people hit the sidewall when I looked out my driver's window and seen I was straight with it I let off the brake to head out of the cloud to smoke and went straight into a barricade the other direction. The other people apparently thought it was a demo derby
Still the best burnout of the day. Greetings from Holland watch every time when you post new video.
Thank you man we appreciate sincerely!!
Love the cleetus content, u guys will come back stronger
Thanks! Appreciate it!
Great job mate we admire your dedication and appreciate it. Pad in the same layout but a touch larger would have been the ticket.
Thank you! Was definitely not a favorite pad for me. Was a tough break
@@BoostedRide The issue clearly about this burnout pad area is the shape - especially the smaller, narrow portion of the "L"
That was a Awesome burn out. Sorry about the front end of the truck. I was there. Now a new subscriber
thanks! does suck but risk we take! appreciate the sub!!
Tough break. Best tip in and most instant smoke. You were coming out of that little corner nicely. Even before the oil pressure shut you down, you even did a brutal burnout in reverse to keep up momentum. I reckon you were set for the win. Bummer. I'd have liked to see more space and dyno fans clearing the smoke if a contest is being run in a stadium with no natural airflow.
Fans in that stadium would have been a nice addition for sure. Especially guys like me that go absolute crazy! Appreciate the kind words man!
Come back next year, was amazing having y’all!
We will!
Damn good effort guys! I thought it was strange they didn't give everyone the same pit to work with. 🤔 Still was awesome seeing your builds.
Thanks robbie!
You did awesome man thank you for the content and can’t wait to seee it agin
Thanks Trevor!
New subscriber here. Keep at it man, your making good content and I don't see any reason you shouldn't have a great sub count. Think outside of the box and just send it💯👍💪
Thanks man! Not sure what else to do but keep making content
Best tip in I've seen so far. That barricade was definitely not square, not something you want to ruin you run hitting. These burnout events seem to be getting bigger, but the standard of these burnout pads doesn't seem to be getting better. The lights on the barricades is a good edition, but having a corner stick out is poor way to go
Yes definitely killed my run. Lights were great! Looked out my door seen the barricades followed them straight into another 😔
This is standard size in Australia, we get judged on driver skill. Don’t hit the wall…
@@Jameybrahh well it's not tip in friendly like our Aussie layouts, normally u can tip in an drive out. Guess they can keep destroying cars in the weird layouts
@@BoostedRide The issue clearly about this burnout pad area is the shape - especially the smaller, narrow portion of the "L"
Green burnout smoke. Very cool. ☘️💚☘️
👍 thanks!
Those aren't special tires right ? You just add powder or coat the tires ..
I like the green smoke keep your head up you did 👍

@@BoostedRide 😆 that'll work to.
Seen youall heading back home as we were going today. Was hoping to see your killer builds…
We were planning to go back but honestly with the truck damage and motor issue in the new build and possibly deathtrap we figured it was best to head back. Next year! Or the next event!
D'oh! That'll buff out guys. Sounded crazy!
Hope Sam's spray wax will cure it haha!
sorry to see thus brother. those trucks have special place in my heart. my first truck was a 69 Ford sb.
Ya and hard to get stuff for but that's the nature of any sport. No risk no reward
Damn it and that tip in was sick as hell and whipped it out of that little technical spot and clipped the damn wall. You'll get her back going and that wasn't a little bit of smoke that was a lottle lmao.
Thanks man! Ya all those demo derby people pushed it back and when I was coming out of the smoke beside it I thought I would be good but nope it was pushed back a foot! Next time!
Dam that was some good effort and a shit pile of smoke!!!! 👍👍
thanks man!
Helluva good run! You’re tip in was sweet!!!!
Thanks! Try like hell to be the best!
I give you props going your own thing and not showing cletus's event other than your thing everybody else is posting stuff that has nothing to do with them and expecting to get subscribers it was cletus's show and people were posting videos like they were in charge thank you for being such an honest do your own thing
That really sucks! There was enough of a gap or that K-rail was sticking out just a bit and it caught your front end.
From everyone slamming it apparently. Looked out my window seen the wall and thought hell ya I'm good then bam! T bone a freaking barricade sticking out 😔
Yeah it sucks and I honestly feel for ya's but you guys have come a long way in a short time and absolutely no one can ever say that you boys don't come to win or don't put on a killer show....Respect 🇦🇺
Maybe reach out and have chat with Cleeter and some of the other big hitters, see how they feel and try n' work out a uniform size/design for the burnout pad, just a thought....
Thank you much appreciated! Actually we are working with him now!
I always want to win who doesn't. But also want to have a good time and put on the best show we can for the fans!
Thats f@ckin' awesome!
I'm no burnout master, but having a planned out design that doesn't change every event, not saying you can't or shouldn't, will help tremendously, it's that whole mental map/spacial awareness thing....although in the heat of the moment and blinded by smoke it does go out the window 🤣 from time to time!
🚗💨💨💨💨💨💨
Dead set best tip in of the event, sucks the walls got moved around so much. Just have to keep looking forward to the next event. Glad those tyres are working well for you

Thank you! Appreciate it!! To bad I followed the barricades right into the corner 😔 wished they would have been reset
Despite your loss, you did it a Bristol Motor Speedway. Not many folks will ever get that chance.
That is true! Thanks!
Walls got a workout, didn't they. Saw a few smashed up hotrods. Hope you can find a donor truck to get parts. I know they're getting rare. Good show though. Love the old hotrod.
Harder by the day unfortunately. Wished the barriers were reset as I use it and lights to guide me and it did....right into another 😔 thanks again man!
You had it. You made more smoke in your short run than the winner did the whole run
Appreciate it! Wished the barriers were reset so it didn't lead me right into another 😔
Hope ya get er fixed up bud , I seen cleetus post about bigger pads would love to see that ripper going again!
Definitely will be! Thanks man!
@@BoostedRide no problem brother ! Made sure to sub and follow along with the rebuild !😎
Idk if you really want too much support for the fender to core support. The fender buckling saved the cab. Maybe a tubular bumper that sticks out alittle further, have that braced back to the frame. Might bounce/skim a wall better.
Ya still on the way home talking that same thing! Lucky cause ya the cab and door and all would be crushed!
Yep every brace you install while it might save one spot from damage it just transfers the energy some where else
@@BoostedRide I'm sure you guys will figure something out. I've got a 79 bronco, and seeing yours without even the inner fenders, that even little more sheet metal might have let it buckle, but not quite as badly.
I’m new, that barricade should’ve been squared up
Super dope cars and trucks
🪝🪝🪝🪝🪝🪝🪝
Ya would have made the difference. I have to rely on those and lights or obviously I'm lost. Guided me into another wall unfortunately
The pad was way too small for the big blower cars👍

Thanks Grady! Spendy but sweet!
As usual love the way you tip it in guys u was going so well until the barrier jumped out in front of u. U hang with the heavy hitters of Australia .Don't get me wrong u have to have a game plan sometimes u have all the space in the world sometimes it is a small burnout pad that is why us Aussies do skids every month in a different part of the country and rip it up .in Western Australia we are lucky to have 10 events a year to get your driving skills especially in the country pads where they are like Bristol's pad technical but when you have 170 mph wheel speed and u can't see shit u just hold on. Unlucky this time doesn't look as bad as neighbour what the heck did cleetus do.love that Jason is getting better and I love the sound it makes love to one day see you in Australia especially Western Australia home to the best burnout cars and driver's. We know great skid cars
Appreciate the kind words! Jason has gotten better throttle control we just need to seal up the massive rust holes and see about redirecting the exhaust it just fills the cab. Lots of money and hard work put in by us and we want to put on the beet show we can. Someday I want to get over to compete for sure!! You guys are an inspiration
A like and a comment for the Al gores rhythm. This channel is so underrated
Thanks Mark!
That burnout box was the smallest one I've ever seen cleetus set up! It was simple too small for its purpose. Hopefully enough people complain and next time it's bigger! I knew it was going to be an issue as soon as I saw it!

I was really sorry to see this happen to Death Trap while you were doing your run. You and Jason both work so hard to put on a good show, and after a hell week this is what happens. Hopefully the next show will go better for both of you.
I hope so! A bummer for sure but it happens. Thanks Jeff for always coming back!
Thank you for providing great videos, and memorable burn outs! I started following you after Indy's Cleetus and Cars last year and seeing Death Trap in person. That thing made an impression, and your efforts have enforced it.
How do you get pick to show up to them and is a cost lot to build one
You have to submit your vehicle and be selected. At this level you are talking a lot. Start with an entry vehicle and work up from there. Our stuff is at extreme levels from the start.
I thought you were handling the pit well, and then I watched in horror when you smoked the barrier with the death trap. That pad was a little too 'technical'. Even Garrett totaled neighbor.. too small for sure. When Is Jason going to name the Camaro? He did pretty good
How bad did he destroy neighbor?
@@johnc.hammersticks The whole rear end is pushed up, both rear corners destroyed.

Thanks Tim!
I'm just giving honest feedback here as a spectator. I really wish there was a wall of fans rigged up along one side of a burnout comp like this. We can't see shit. Drivers can't see shit. It makes the entertainment.... pretty shit. It's frustrating not being able to see actual action. Nevermind how frustrating it is for a driver who's totally blind and suffocating, if they don't smack a wall or trap themselves into a corner/stupidly tight section of the pad. Surely a half dozenn or even a whole dozen 6ft roller fans could shift the wall of smoke enough for us all to see more action? Hopefully give the competitors half a chance to put a proper show on and show what they can do properly? It might be spectacular if we could see enough to satisfy us! Park up a couple of air boats and strap them down? Gotta do something. It is not so exciting to watch a dense cloud of smoke tbh guys. I'll copy and paste this onto the next Cleeter vid. It is criticism but it's constructive criticism! Bad luck in bullshit circumstances at Bristol.
110% agree. Please share this and I will as well. I read every comment and try my best to change something if I can! Thank you!
@@BoostedRide awesome. Feel free to repost it anywhere, so it's clearly me being a little ratty and not you! 😂 to avoid flack. Look at the way Guy Martin mounted his Merlin engine to a trailer... at idle +20% it was shifting enough air to suck start a Harley! With a cut down prop. If I moved in your circles I'd be trailer mounting a load of truck or car engines to trailers and fixing the right propellers to them and renting them out to events like this. Easy money and would improve the whole show massively. Be a cool build for ya to figure it out. Dead simple with an air cooled Beetle engine, now I'm thinking about it. Or a really simple and cheap shaft drive BMW air cooled motorcycle engine. Lots of interesting options. Run with it dude.
@@tonykeast9966 You don't need rows of engines. Just a few dyno room/industrial fans would clear away enough smoke.
@@craigm5511 good shout. I'd love to see this figured out. It'd be good content to watch for a little series too, your suggestion wins best 'nrarly off the shelf' option so far. I went a bit mad max with mine 🤓🤣. One would cost a >grand tho and the other way more. I bet there is already a perfect solution in the TV/movie industry. I'm an aircraft mechanic.
