No he can’t. He has kicked 7 of them this season and on most he doesn’t even put it on target. That mentality is his problem and people telling him he is the next MesNaldo is part of the problem.
This was one of his best games in the sense that he wasn’t kicking from 40 yards out or kicking any pass that came his way. He played with his mates more and therefore Chelsea plays better.
In all honesty neither Gallagher nor Palmer should be kicking FKs and corners. They suck at it.

I think my favourite thing about the game was that we didn't rely on Palmer solely to win the game. A starting 11 that has played almost no minutes together, along with some late debut cameos, showed we have potential next season. I was getting worried that Palmer would have to carry next season but Madueke and Gallagher are showing more promise. I'd love to see Caicedo get on the scoresheet before the end of the season (despite that banger back in November against Tottenham).
Mudryk still worries me. He is often so crucial in the first 15-20 minutes when we are getting into the rhythm and then inevitably backs off but he put through two creative passes that could have led to goals early. Overall, great performance. We needed that clean sheet.

Might be overlooked, but loved Noni calling Palmer to celebrate when Jackson scored. He was kinda aprehensive to join in at first. Trev's header would've been fantastic from a striker, but coming from a centerback, was PHENOMENAL. Gilchrist had Son in his pocket the entire game and showed composure beyond his experience level. Cucu was cuckoo on the back left, controlled chaos and energy from the first whistle. He's the blue box for me. The amount of blocked crosses he had was bonkers, and when he slipped into that CDM role in possession, Spurs couldn't lay a glove on us. More of that please, Poch! Caicedo was the polar opposite of what he was when he arrived - lively, composed and intelligent. Conor was special, again. Glad he got a banner. Best game I've watched from the boys in a while, even better than the Everton drubbing. C'mon you Blues, let's get to Europe!

Head coach Mauricio Pochettino can well celebrate a significant win and doing the double over his last club Spurs, despite 14 player injury crisis.
Also, somewhat heart-warming to see the growing numbers of Chelsea Academy graduates, featuring regularly and prominently in the senior team. So, they aren't just there to be considered 'pure profit' in transfer sales.
Reece James, Conner Gallagher, Trevor Chalobah, Noni Madueke, Alfie Gilchrist,
    Levi Colwill.
Chelsea slowly getting experience to add to the 'promise' of a very young side.

Caicedo is still only able to show flashes of what he can do. In Ecuador he plays much farther up the field and has 4 assists in 6 games in WC qualifiers.
He does corners, FKs and runs the team. He could do the same for Chelsea but Poch is slow to understand.
One thing not being said is that Poch did not make this changes out of brilliance but lack of choice. I think when he has choices again he reverts.
